Finally got to race a brand new Ram TRX Vs my 2017 Ford Raptor that has a tune, and some bolt ons! Running about 20lbs of boost at the moment! Excited to see what other mods or tuning I can do to smoke a TRX with ease! Follow & make sure to Subscribe to see more content! Thanks guys!

Awsome trucks, I'll still take the Raptor though just because of the fact it's the benchmark that every truck manufacture chased and finally the TRX is the first official competitor.

Actually ram did try to compete before. They didn't get the win the raptor still did. Back in 2009 I believe or 12 not sure what year when ram introduced a limited production of the ram runner to compete against the raptor. But like you said ram answered back and now TRX is the new champ. I do like the previous raptor with the 6.2 V8 not so much for the V6 tbh. Hope to see raptor r come with that 5.2 V8 rumor I've been hearing

Ford Raptor for pleasant daily driving and better fuel economy
If I want fuel economy I gonna get a 4 cylinder. If I have the money for a TRX or a Raptor I could give two shits about fuel economy.

True and the TRX only averages 3 less mpg than a stock Raptor as proven by FLT.
I love my 2020 Raptor but am about to order a 22 TRX. The Raptor R might be slightly better but for sure not by much.

@@bradpowell843 they might take out a trx with a superstock engine and do weight reduction to the trx and I’m pretty sure if it’s better than the raptor in off road rn imagine later with more power and less weight not ust that if the raptor beats the trx in anything it’s only in high jumps cuz of it’s weight compared to the trx most weight is in front
Raptor R supposed hp 760. Raptor off road is a superior truck. Ram is great but they can’t cut much weight because of the hdmi motor is a pig. That’s why all of their lineup with the hdmi weighs way more than anything else in its class.

Ram is in the game of off road trucks just now. In a few years from now, they’ll be at the same level with Ford. Both great trucks, just personal preference for anyone to buy whichever per their taste

RAM is dominating the offroad game with their research and development everything on the TRX was designed and engineered for that truck. It is as impressive as any truck the world has ever seen. Ford uses the aftermarket to their advantage while RAM continues to put the necessary work in to dominate.

@@realdeal7188 apparently reading isn’t your strong suit. You missed the part where I said “ put a hellcat motor in it. Every conceiveable category was literally a minuscule “edge” over the Raptor. The shocks are the same style but a different brand. It doesn’t dominate anything besides “ma 0-60 time is better” In fact it falls short in high speed moguls by a significant bit due to weight.. the Raptor is more nimble and controllable. Also the Ford doesn’t destroy itself going over jumps 😂 And guess what it’s backed by a full FORD warranty as well.

The moment the raptor driver said traction control LOL. He should have been in Baja mode that second race the raptor was spinning and reducing power to eliminate tire spin. It also used nearly no power to go up where the TRX was spinning because she’s overweight

One won the Baja 1000 stock, the other has really bad quality control due to 84 hour work weeks to catch up with demands. Not worth it 👎
3rd Gen Raptor eclipses over the TRX in approach/breakover/departure/clearance & travel, as well as hauling and towing capacity.

I’m running a bed rack & tent ⛺️ that’s the noise you’re hearing that sounds like “loose parts” and we kept air in our tires! About 40 psi on both trucks!

Both great trucks! TRX on the road will beat the current 3.5 twin turbo Raptor, & off-roading Raptor is light on its feet compared to the Ram TRX.

There 2 different truck was was made for the Baja 500 and Baja 1000. How ever the trx never was made for that type of driving

@@turbbraptorchannel I think he means the Raptor was designed to be a ultra reliable offroad warrior. So to prove it Ford ran the Gen 1 and then the Gen 2 in the Baja 1000. RAM on the other hand, they simply stuffed a hellcat into a 1500 and got Dirt King to design the suspension. RAM can brag about the power but no one really trusts it to put up with daily abuse off road... reliability and RAM don't really go hand in hand.
Yeah all this talk about the TRX being better well it’s faster to 0-60 but I don’t think it will finish the Baja 1000 like the Raptor has. I think you would see FCA doing this if they actually could.
Trx is a beast cant get over the nasty v6 sound so ricer. No more v6 turbos in raptor they dont make enough power. Sounds like a tacoma with a exhaust
