    Being a 30+ year jeep fan and proud owner of a 2023 jeep 392, test drove the exact same bronco raptor two days ago and I purchased it, I never thought I would buy a Ford, the big selling point to me was the comfort and no road fatigue and very surprised how well it handled and tracked on the street, for example long trips over 300 miles the jeep would kick my butt with road fatigue, but my jeep was also modified, this bronco raptor is amazing I recommend the jeep 392 and I recommend the Ford raptor both are great but I will be waving to jeeps from the Ford raptor bronco now, after owning the 392 and being spoiled by all that horsepower, the bronco is surprisingly quick and in sport mode sounds pretty good, super happy with it so anyone that’s thinking of jeep or Ford test drive both of them that make your decision I think both are great product I’ve always been biased towards Jeep but now big bronco fan👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

    Yup, traded a 2.7 obx sas for a b raptor back in December. The way I explain it to ppl is like a regular 3 series bmw compared to an M3. They are different vehicles. And I’m happy you mentioned the rigidity…..makes a huge difference in any vehicle….steering, handling, comfort to name a few. It really is an impressive rig.

      Yeah Drives a lot more like a F-150 Raptor than a regular bronco. It was awesome!

    Baja mode is the stiffest setting, because jumps lol. Sway bar disconnect is for crawling. It helps increase articulation to keep tires on the ground to maximize traction. My husband and I have a 2023 and love it, but disappointed that we can't do much to the engine.

    • @drivenmad2089
      @drivenmad2089  Год назад +1

      Yep but for some reason there's a lot of auto journalists that think Baja mode is the "smooth" option. I just had to point that out cause its always bothered me haha. Enjoy your Braptor!

      @@drivenmad2089 The crazy part is auto journalists are supposed to be mentally mechanically inclined and know these things. 🤣
      I heard another car journalist say the Bronco Raptor has 2 transfer cases, one in the front and rear lol. I was like no it has 2 diff lockers lol. He was very rude to me telling me i was wrong lol

    Whenever I see a raptor jump, it bounces a few times after. Seems like the rebound is too fast &/or its running out of travel. Maybe the dual valve on the 24 F150 raptor helps, but I would rather just go to a mid travel external bypass kit. Too bad no one is making one for the b raptor yet.

    I know this is 10 months old but I am considering moving from my f150 Raptor to the Bronco Raptor. Haven’t decided but most of my friends are telling me I am crazy.

    • @drivenmad2089
      @drivenmad2089  2 месяца назад

      Well honestly it really just comes down to what you do with it. If you actually use your F150 Raptor as a truck (put dirtbikes in the Bed/use the bed often) you’ll probably miss the f150 (like me)
      If you don’t really use your F150 Raptor as a truck, and want a more capable rig to hit up more trails/rock crawl as well as high speed desert stuff then the B-Raptor will make you happy.
      But the F150 Raptor is more comfortable on and off-road. So it’s comes down to use case.

      I am torn. I don’t use my Truck as a truck it is right now my daily. Not even have time to go do any trails. Parking though in town is tough because of the size. I did have a Wildtrak and ended up trading for my Raptor truck.

    lower the music and fake sounds when doing the run, we want to hear it

    • @austinw8285
      @austinw8285 Год назад +1

      The music is the only added sound. The “fake sounds” are actually audio clips from other camera angles of the exhaust.

      Yep it is in Texas. It’s called Big Bend national park. It’s a drive (about 9 hours one way for me) but a good spot to camp and get out in the middle of no where.

    You can put a 392 on ADS triplebypas sbocks, synergy springs and jks control arm relocation for like 6k. It would run circles around that. Jeeps are one of the best bang for the buck desert vehicles - cause lifting them is so cheap, repairing them is cheap relative to ifs, and they are legitimately good offroad in the rocks cause they are solid axle. Just go look at ultra4 4400 class - same idea. The bronco raptor is cool but no way i coud afford to drive it like my diesel gladiator on the same setup i just described - my repairs are usually just bushing and tie rod ends from hitting bumps too hard. I dont even want to think of what the repairs to that thing would have been.
