The only think that I did different in my 428i was instead of select “Fold/unfold mirrors automatically” I select “Fold mirrors with convenient closing” and using this option you can decide if you want to fold it keeping the BWN logo on your key remote control. You must activate “Convenient closing” and “Convenient closing with remote control”. That option also allows you to close the windows and sunroof remotely.

I wanted to mention that the veepeak adapter has some limitations on certain model BMW's. There are a few coding processes that are not available. I bought the obdlink-cx adapter after reading some recommendations of user's . thanks again

So I am not too familiar with the E9x series of BMWs but if you have a button to fold your mirrors manually you def can code it to fold automatically. Just check the settings in BimmerCode if you have it.

What a bunch off bullshit for folding the mirrors. It is rarely necessary to fold the mirrors. Press the knob and fold them. 97% of people don't use half the features in the car to start with. Example guy wants 4X4 gets one and never used the 4X4 drive. It remains in 2wd 100% of the time. This is more shit these young kids want. Techies. I am so glad I am old school. We don't need this extra shit. It is just more rap to go wrong with the product. Look what's happened to phones. Simplicity has value people. Complexity is costing you and it is clearly NOT COST EFFECTIVE! Now I will go out and lock my wife's BMW and I will gladly get in my Pantera and fly away from the absurd!

Considering that more or less the only damage I’ve ever had to any of my cars in the last 20 years is that someone dinged my side mirrors in a parking lot (twice on diff cars), I’m gonna fold em. It also depends where you live. If You’re in the burbs or somewhere which huge parking spots, I guess I hear you. It’s helpful with tight spots, though.
Not sure on the newercars but on cars were apple CarPlay was not an option, it is a retrofit to make it work. I have a video on my channel on the retro fit that I had Kies Motorsports do for me.
@@WhatsyourForte mine is 2013 model. it doesn't make any sound, except the mechanical sound created by the locks, so it is hard to tell , if you are more than 10 yard away, if any thing has happened or not. not even the lights blink.
Under BimmerCode double check all of your settings under Front electronic module to see if there is an option. Another way I can tell if the car is locked is by looking to see if the mirrors are folded. I would code that in if I were you, if you have not yet.
Great Video !! After some coding today my real time MPG display was all over the place. I was using bimmercode to do simple stuff like mirrors fold when locked etc. If you have ever seen this or know how to fix it please let me know !

If I use my key and hit the lock button once it folds the mirrors. I have not tried long pressing the lock button. If I use the access pad on the door handle to lock, I have to press it twice to fold the mirrors. It is kinda weird.

If you have an error in your FRM module,which don't show any errors on the dash, it won't allow you to code the angel eyes etc.as a safety precaution.

The mirrors only fold on lock when the car is in park. You can also manually fold them anytime by hitting the button on your door.

i have a 435i, i did coding but mirror folding still not working. any idea? even though other function i coded are working.
Does it close when you lock the car completely? Also make sure all of your convenient opening/closing and mirror values are set to active.

Unassigned Value is like the off button for that feature and assigned is like the on button.

If you touch it twice it should work. I think there is a way to code it to fold on the first touch. Let me check.
