Hey i love your reviews. I have a f10 535i m sport. You always have great tips and are very informative. I live in suburbs of chicago too, i live in naperville.
Good video man, just wondering, i can see that ur eyebrow (the white stipe) above the angles eyes is not lit up, is there any coding i can do too turn it off😊
I am with 2006 E60 530d. I've read in the amazon page of the veepeak adapter, that it won't work with models before 2008. What adapter would you recommend me?
Hi there, I have been following you for the past three months since Purchasing a Z4e89. Just wanted to check with you and ask if you plan to make a video on flaws for these cars. It has been my experience with the car to have found a few flaws or should I say; unexpected faulty materials and or parts around the first 10 year mark on the car. with only 69K on the clock, I have all shocks failed, oil pan leakage, trunk lid struts, and taillights cracking on the bottom part (clear area). The rest has been a lot of elbow grease and love to make the car look halfway decent. maybe someone thinking about acquiring an e89 may find your video of great help. Thanks!
Just during the coding session. You are free to take it elsewhere and use it to code another car after. You are basically changing the software settings on your car.
@@SimpleCarGuy I just want to change the signal lights and have the windows roll up with the key fob if possible. Maybe a few little things but not much.
Love your videos. I followed your advice and bought the BimmerCode and Adapter for my E89 Z4. I haven't been able to get the remote to open/close the removable hardtop. Do you know if the BimmerCode can do this? Thanks.
Hi Chris! Thanks for watching! Yes, BimmerCode can do this, I have programmed it on my car using it. What options have you changed to try and make it work? I can check my current options so you can compare.
@SimpleCarGuy Connection error It says "The OBD adapter is not suitable for use with this car. For further information please visit our website." Don't y'all do not buy the veepeak if you have 2007 335i as it won't work ! I'll send update to what odb2 might work on my car !
@@yannik68 the obd scanner doesn't work for 2005. I've checked on bimmercode website after finding out the hard way :p I now placed an order for the correct obd scanner called the "Vgate vLinker MC+ OBD2". That one should work, and I can start coding on friday.
BimmerCode focuses on coding and customization, while BimmerLink focuses on monitoring and diagnostics. Both apps can be used independently or in conjunction with one another, depending on the user's needs and preferences. Both need buying the license separately.
Great video, I love these kinds of videos where you discover something you wouldn't even think about. Great editing as well!
This is great! Just got BimmerCode and the adapter. Looking forward to having a look!!

The seat belt is the main problem, it gets soft on the area where the butler hooks up...I wonder if some starch will work 🤔
Worth the cost of app dyi. Local euro repair shop charging $250 for coding mods.
What country in Europe are you from? 😅 My local bmw dealer charge 70 euro for coding
@@henrikjohnsen4403but there's mods that they don't tho, for example turning off always the start and stop feature

Both bmws I’ve had close my windows with remote
How could I get rid of that annoying sos light that says the sos is not working
Thank you, does this work with a 2009 328i?
Yes, it does
These codes won’t affect the frm module?
Has been fine for me since I’ve done it. No codes.
Can we activate aux with bimmercode?
can i unplug the adapter or does it have to stay plugged in at all times

Do you know if this will work on an X5? I have a 08 X5 and I'm wondering if all these options will work. Thanks
Maybe not all of them, but many will. Which ones are you looking for more specifically?

Angel Eyes light brightness can be changed here: “Footwell Module” FRM2_E89 or “Footwell Module” FRM3_E89 control unit
Will this work for the e93?
Yes.
