Volquartsen will also chop your existing Ruger Mk series pistols to any barrel length you would like. They can also tap a new hole for your front sight. $150 for the chop and thread, $70 for the tap. IMO it beats ~$1500 if you already have a Mk pistol you want to dedicate for suppressed use. I'm sure the Mamba is nice as well :)
@@InferiorRifles I did all the drop in accurizing parts over the years on my Mk II-III's. The trigger set is under $200. What I don't get is the badass look of the Mamba, the slingshot bolt charger and the nicely integrated pic rail.
@@syntaxerrorsix3137 between the competition bolt, accurizing kit, and the mag release/magazine basepads you’re looking at a little over $500 in parts. A mark IV Tactical goes for around $450 without tax. After adding in what it would cost to chop a Ruger pistol it’s not much more to buy the Mini Mamba (which I picked up for $1200) in the first place. Ultimately you’ll save a little money going that route but as you mentioned you still wouldn’t have the VQ upper
I have a Mini Mamba with a .22 Banish suppressor. Here are some of my numbers taken from a real sound meter: Federal Standard shot from Mini Mamba Suppressed - 100.6 dB CCI Subsonic (970 fps) shot from Mini Mamba - Suppressed 96.8 dB CCI Quiet shot from Mini Mamba Suppressed - 96.1 dB (did not cycle gun)
The Mini Mamba makes so much sense I'm almost surprised that wasn't Volquartsen's first take on the Mk IV rather than the Black Mamba. Like I'd be pissed if I bought a Black Mamba lol
Great video on a great gun. I like the short package. But even with a 4 Inch barrel only high velocity 22 rounds are trans or supersonic. Standard CCI Ammo is still subsonic. 😉
Sweet plinker that could be a great hunting gun for small game if called for - lately I’ve picked up a pair of those Beretta Bobcat tactical models - one blue/wood and another FDE - and carry one of the other as a backup most days with a tiny Gemtech Aurora II can which I’ve removed the wipes from and replaced with wire pulling gel and a bit of blue painters tape over the muzzle to drop the first round pop.
Love it.Concerning that holster..I have a 22/45 Mark iv with one the 3.5 barrel chopped and threaded uppers that Volquartsen offers in their clearance section.Running with a dead air mask.I'm wondering if that holster would fit my rig.Does it retain off the trigger guard? Also on their website it says will work with "thin" suppressors 1" diameter or smaller but I see your Oculus fits it fine and its bigger than 1" diameter.Did you do any mods to make it work with the can? Also wondering since I have the standard boilt on pic rail if it interfere going in the holster.
Excellent Review....I recently purchased 6" Black Mamba...love it. What adapter did you use on the Holosun HS403? I'd like to mount an HE508T that requires a Picatinny adapter to mount. Thank you, Phil R
So glad to see the fit of the scorpion holster with oculus on the mini mamba! Thank you!

If you have no desire for the other upgrades that come with the mini mamba then yes, that would be a good option as well.

@@InferiorRifles This is my thought as well an why I'm going with VQ from the start with my cgs hydra
Curious what upgrades you did? Looking to do the same myself in the mosteconomical way. Thanks! @@syntaxerrorsix3137
I’d really like a follow up with accuracy reports to hear what the pistol sounds like suppressed.

That’s a really solid looking firearm.
color me impressed 😯
Mount either your NGAL or the BOSS on top for peak tactical when shooting .22 into the trash outside

Really enjoy your videos. Keep them coming.
For optics that will co-witness look at ;
An ACRO P-2
Holosun 403/503/515/530
Aimpoint Micro series
Great video! I don’t know how I found it but this is exactly what I was looking for

Great video. I love mine. Solid gun with my dead air mask
Nice setup. You put a red dot on it?
yes. a holosun 509 on a American defense qd mount@@bushweasel
I like!
I own the 22/45 lite as my backpacker which excellent for me. Comes w/ suppressor ability.
👍

There's a 1911 style Scorpion and a Target 22 style Scorpion each paired with Mamba-X and Mamba TFX... Which holster for the suppressed Mini-Mamba?

It’s Holosun’s factory picatinny mount for the 407/507 series.
Great video! Thanks!
Awesome review. Also you sound a lotttt like Seth MacFarlane hahah
nice overlook 👍
What is the usable target range with that configuration?
Kinda wish it had tritium night sights and maybe a mini lower rail for a laser.
Damn I like that, my 22 can "should" be ready for pick up in a month or 2 or 3🤷🏾♂️
what is the picatinny mount you used to mount the holosun?
$1400 MSRP? Crazy. No thanks. I'll keep my flawless Browning Buckmark.
Nice rig.
can you swap the mag release for leftys
Dope
Can’t find any of your videos in my feed super lame love the content
Is the barrel 3"
If it was possible to add a rail for a light to this it would be the ultimate 22
Hose clamp haha
I like that lil shorty.
I don't see how this is better than a Kel-Tec P17.
>Kel-Tec
There’s your answer 👍
Best price on these?
Theoretically, $0.
This is the Hitman pistol. Or wait no it was the Ruger MKIV.
I use mine for night operations around my house if you catch my drift
What's with the charging part being so long. Seems like it would snag like a bitch.
Beautiful gun but the price is to much imo
Hope you will get famous soon.!!! You should look into using a service such as P R O M O S M!!!
