Sweet setup. I am convinced that the only differences Aussies and Americans is accents and you're great words for things (e.g. Rippa!). Honestly, I have learned as much from you guys (in setting up my rig) as anywhere else. I guess it is because you guys have quite a bit of the wild and beautiful country to explore like us. Keep the videos coming.
Kicked it out of the ballpark again dude...👍 . A little safety tip, invest in a $20 gas fuse for your has bottle. Not only does it shut the gas off instantly if there is any sort of fail between it and the stove (3rd degree burns in remote areas aren’t fun), but it also conveniently has a gas gauge so you can monitor gas use and know when you need to fill up.
Shurflo pumps are the absolute best pumps out there!! I use them all the time in the food trucks i build, and never had a problem with them! Awsome video, as always!
Just discovered your channel, finally somebody with a big canopy box like mine, showing their set up and DIY ideas I can relate to. Thanks for all your work mate! I hope to see a lot more in the future!!!!
Absolutely! I love how you attach your stainless steel table to side of canopy. I wasn't too keen on a sliding table myself. So that is just perfect :)
I should be sleeping but here I am binge watching - Awesome videos. You are relatable, a Top Bloke with excellent understandable info. All the best with the BT50 - Cheers.
Great canopy setup you've got there and a clever use of space. I like the combination of the clip on table, gas bottle and prep area; everything you need within 2 square meters! Will definitely be making a note of a couple of things in this video.
Hi good set up for your kitchen. I was thinking about your utensils draw what I've seen is a small piano hinge at the back of the draw at the top with a flat stainless lid that closes over everything in the draw you would only loose about 2mm of draw space but at least you could always open your draw without the utensils jamming up. When you pull your draw out you open the flat lid and all good. You would need some sort of catch at the front to hold the lid in place otherwise the utensils will bunch up and jam the lid up then you would never get the draw open.
Just a tip on your cooking tools drawer , get yourself a roll of magnetic tape and line your drawer with it ! Keeps most of your stuff from shifting around while traveling !
Congrats on the new vehicle. Love the canopy and kitchen mods. I’m currently having my canopy built (another 6 weeks or so). Just itchin to get into it and do some interior stuff. Taps a great idea in the outback, had two on my Jayco and well worth spending the money. Great video Michael, waiting on the electrical vid. Well done mate.
I only discovered you on a miserable Sunday arvo but I am really enjoying ur vids. I must have watched 10 so far. I am a happy new subscriber!! Thanks for sharing. 😊
Just discovered your channel and must say.... You Australians are crazy cool! That is one nice rig! I've never seen a Mazda like that, so I'm guessing they don't have them in the US. I guess I'll be back-watching a bunch of your videos.
Great video man, can't wait to see more of the project... im just about to start my canopy build so its been great to watch for idea's.... super keen to see the other side.
Awesome video mate. You seem like a really top bloke! I know what you mean about starting to set up again, i just sold my Patrol that was decked out and picked up a Navara. Building a canopy now so I can get it all set up. Safe travels mate. Cheers
Awesome set up, I really respect your can do attitude. What water pump did you go with. I just installed an 80lt stainless tank, and would like some more details on you plumbing set up and pump please.
@@SeekAdventure thanks so much for the info man. Wow 850 bucks that's half the price of the fridge itself haha just for a working bracket. Looks very well made and it's super convenient. Hmmmm decisions haha. Enjoy the trip if you still on it
That is awesome! At least you can carry more then if you were hiking for instance 🙂. I am hoping to give kayak camping a shot in the near future, I have never camped out of mine yet!
we liked your insulated vehicle. Can you please tell us how was the silver insulation fixed to the inside of the back of the ute.Was it glued and if so what . Thank you, David & Yvonne :)
Hi David and Yvonne, I just used insulation tape from the hardware store, it sticks really well to the insulation. It did come off in a few places, but after cleaning the surface and putting fresh tape on, it hasn't come off anywhere since 🙂👍. It has made a huge difference, if you are considering doing it, I'd say it's worth it 🙂
Exceptional set up. If it were me doing it, Id have put it to face the passengers side, so pulling up onthe side of the road & boiling the billy flr a cuppa can be done without the fear of the traffic raging past at highway speeds behind your back.
Great set up mate. Do you need ventilation for your fridge? I'm gonna set up half box with fridge and drawers slide and not sure if I need ventilation. Thoughts?
Is the other side of the cap used differently or does the kitchen extend all the way over? Nice kitchen. Also do you have a link to the hinges for the table?
It’s called sarking wrap insulation they use it for walls and roofs but builders iv worked for often use it for walls and they use Earth wool roofing blankets for the roof but the do use sarking wrap sometimes as well for a cheaper option
Sweet set up. Is now a bad time to advise I got a 55 litre poly water tank delivered for $135? Add a gal custom tray to support it was $40. Loving your videos, see you on the trails.
That Joel guy I tell ya. 🙄😂😂👍
Nah pretty sweet setup now, just needs 35’s and your set 🤙🤘👌👍
Michael Sanders onto in now 😬👍
A drop-down fridge slide is exactly what I need! What brand is the one that you've installed?

That water level indicator is pure genius. The wash pot holder is also clever and simple. Outstanding.

Sweet, looks like a very practical set up. I really liked the fridge set up. Very cool pull out.👍 enjoy!
Fit a magnet strip to the base of your cutlery draw. Then most everything is held in place with the magnet strip.
or do the fast cap kaizen foam thing for storing tools or anything really
@@dtec30 this sounds better and less heavy.
@@dahir1939 is foam heavy ?
Magnetic strip is a good idea and you can get one cheap from harbor freight
I like this idea
I miss these regular videos. Great to find one I hadn’t seen. Hope you are finding the joy of camping again.
I am really impressed with that insulation and the table idea.

Very organized and fancy for a guy! Nice and clean love it!!

Just add some dividers to keep items in place.

Great little setup, gave me some good ideas too
Great set up mate. Heaps of great ideas. Thanks
Hi you have a great setup there, but with the fire extinguisher being hidden in that tight spot it would be impossible to get at in an emergency.
Yes I suspect you could fit another small extinguisher on the right hand corner.
Nice set up and I like the corny humor!
Love your work, you’ve given me some great ideas, keep em coming
Sweet set up. I camp out of my kayak so.... Yeah, no room for a kitchen LOL!
