I Am an INFJ-ADVOCATE and proud of it. I work as a counselor in the state of New York. I love that my personality type is rare. I don't consider it a "disease." I prefer to stand out from the crowd. Ironically, my perfect match is an ENTP(Extroverted,Intuitive, Thinking,Prospecting). He brings out the best in me and vice-versa. He says that INFJ's are a gift to this World.

I am an INFJ advocate. I work long, rewarding hours as a Palliative Care nurse. From the info you have provided. I am a complete INFJ woman. No doubt. also attract attention wherever I go. As a young person I was a loner, but, not without constant company. People always come to me for advice and reassurance. Ideas and problem solving. I am spiritually aware also, I find myself receptive to the the other side. As I am also an empath, i live constantly trying to help others, this is a simple fact. I dont comprehend why humans harm e/o. I have been a leader, a manager, in various care roles. I love people, but, my own space is important to me. Its where I go to solve the world's issues. Younger men are attracted to me, they say I am mysterious. I finally realised why as I turned 40. Now I am comfortable in my own skin. Content with my lot and continuing to look for answers to life.

I am an INFJ Advocate and am a crime scene investigation student hoping to become a detective. I've been assigned to work in the Special Victims Unit for my internship at a prosecutor's office. I only feel happy when I know I am doing something purposeful that is helping others, especially if they can't help themselves.

Im an assistant principal who uses listening and understanding to resolve conflict. This isnt desireable by the field. Im encouraged to lead with shallow relationships and intimidation. This is not my way. This will never be my way.
I like me and am proud if who i am discovering.

A manipulative and gaol driven infj has such power over others it essentially makes them leaders with a large follower base.

The worst is when people use probing questions during small talk and elaborate your responses to their own will or imagination. Almost like putting words in your mouth you never spoke and then holing you to it. Say what you mean and mean what you say

I am also an INFJ advocate. I have actively participated in an Occupy Movement which happened back in 2015 in Fort Collins, CO. We were protesting the camping ordinance that had been put in place, during that time a lot of people, including myself, were arrested for exercising our first amendment rights. It was a horrendous nightmare!

I'm am INFJ from Pakistan and I'm very proud of it it's true that at times I thought why am I like this can change to some other type but it's not that I love the uniqueness of my type it's obviously can be hard when you often hear things like me myself and I and that you are so mean and that you're a pathological liar I know it's normal for every INFJ but don't you worry about them you should ignore them because for everyone I know it's difficult and the thing that we INFJ people can put ourselves in anyone's shoes and I obviously don't want to change no matter how much I bear because I can burn out easily when people are telling me things about me when I know better and asking weird questions like they first didn't make me comfortable enough for that and I'm still living everyday with a lot of pressure and anxiety a new secret opens up to me about myself and I hope I get more independent with time. Because I'm the most misunderstood person, before this world ends I wanna tell them everything once I wanna explain yes that's what I actually want I wanna have a conversation with them!

That's exactly what I said. I was like, I have never heard us described in those terms, super insulting. I've never heard anyone/personality described in those terms. This video and this guy is the first time I've ever heard someone describe a personality as a "personality disease" ... I have a "personality disease" yet I'm a psychotherapist?? He should probably remake this video, it's distastefull

Lol I'm surprised. I have been researching and learning about my INFJ personality for years and I have mostly only heard good things so I wonder if I'm missing something
People in general do NOT understand us and, as loners, we are often regarded as weird for a start. Add to that our refusal to get drawn into the mind - numbingly petty and mundane things that others obsess over. Even those people who think they are DEEP drive me nuts as they don't even grasp what to us is patently obvious. We don't gossip, don't put people down, don't follow trends and are indifferent to what others think they of us. There are lots more but these alone make others think we must have some personality disorder.

When I look at it that way, I can definitely see why our behaviours or actions or perspective can be perceived in a negative light - most people get uncomfortable with things they don't understand and just file it away in their brain as "weird" or just plain negative. Also, I feel so seen here - I love meeting fellow INFJs!!! :)

When I have a goal, my focus is phenomenal, I would not be deviated from it, until it is done. Mostly service even if it takes years, accompanied by hard work with out any help from others, I usually accomplish it. It takes 9 years of my life to finance my siblings to get college degrees, 6 of them, my mom managed it , and I worked 2 jobs to do this. 2 mechanical engineers, 2 business management, 1 nurse and 1 clinical scientist. I put my family life on hold until 9 years was done. I always have a time table for doing a job. I was able to do that because my husband who is a Pediatrician had to do further training on his specialty. When that is done, his family especially his mother who had a stroke and the sister who was diagnosed with Schizophrenia needed care. And we took the financial as well as management for their care. We were just lucky we worked here in the states, and his mother and sister lived in the Philippines. He doesn't now how it is done, but I watched my mom managed this kind of service when I was growing up. So we agreed that I will manage it and we build a house for them and the care giver who has 9 kids to live in the back separate from the main house, also set it up like a home for old people, or mentally challenged patient. It only cost us $350 monthly for maintenance and food for our family only. Had an inspector and accountant to take care of books. 15 years it took us, and succeeded until the mother and sister passed. At 76 years old and my husband 82 years old, we are facing another challenge and mabe last adventure, I can't wait. I was blessed with an adopted son that gave us 4 grandchildren. He is Mexican and Portugueze Canadian wife. God bless.

Sorry, I did see them as SUPERPOWERS, that was so much different for other people. Yes, may concern myself in things other feel insignificant. Somewhat like many pod cast show how many will by pass a crying kitten, or puppy or even a dog.. But there are others that do care, but are NOT an INFJ. I so notice the generations are slipping asway of being respectful to the community in which we live. More Self Centered, do not care that their walk way is not shoveled, but will order take out food. and not care that the person delivering has to slip and slide their way to the door.. To not be so gullible . As far as I know Being an INFJ. whenever FBI start talking about PROFILE , it is NOT a Personality Disease , it is that the INFJ FITS The HORRIBLE thing that happened of doing, and who they are looking for as they list them , fits an INFJ., I know a number of people who will put lots of time and energy into an IDEA they have. But know for fact they are not an INFJ., due to the gossips, or insults about others, or that they like to DRINK. and blow through RED Lights. But their passion in a project that they see MONEY in , they work hard a, seeing it become a Reality.. Time , yes I age I can not just zip through a painting, and need more time. to complete, but I do NOT SEE IT as a super PWOER, I see if as part of being a Perfectionist., whish is NOT FUN , but Draining, and frustrating, because I know what I have in mind but can not quite get it right in the art.. I work on it in a different room, NOT good enough. If I work on another painting, still thinking about the one not finished some times helps ,but NOW I am behind. in the GOAL I had set for myself. I do NOT SEE THE SUPPER POEWER. And anyone expecting to see results think it is just a pipe DREAM , a fantasy not a Reality. Yes, I do try to improve my thinking, Enjoy taking some the Basic Quiz on certain subjects. and happy I can answer majority, and the ones I were not sure make note of. Being Dyslexic, never could read the questions on the National Testing and scoring lower than one who is labeled Retarded, just added to me constantly being called Dumb, Stupid. I was great in art, but educational ART time in school , was not drawing, but to follow directions in Mass production. As a gift to take home to our parents. I would toss mine into the trash, My mother I knew would not like it., but my teachers would take it out and keep it . Some teachers knew I was not dumb, but thought I was just lazy. But I do not see what I do as a Supper Power, to try to do better, understand where I went WRONG. Right now I plan to rearrange the art space I use, to hopefully do better, and be more effective of my time. Being part Native Indian I have often been called LONE WOLF, dance to my own drum. but I am also French, and think a bit of Dutch./German, and that part I feel plays a part in my Talent, and being a Lone Wolf. I do not see how different that is from someone who will knit or create a quilt, while Alone. They accept the cold winter months, and make use, but they are not INFJ's if the chance comes they gladly got to a Snow Mobile Race. and Party. I AM SOORY BUT I DO NOT SEE any of these 6 a SUPPER POWER.
