I´m just so impressed by your level of precision, you don´t leave any detail aside, that makes a huge difference in terms of finish, the result is really impressive! Keep on being a perfectionist, girl!
Omg literally bought this today, with the intention of painting tomorrow! and I literally discovered your channel a few days ago.. what a coincidence! Perfect timing.
Here from your tiktok tutorial, couldn't wait to see an in depth version of this tutorial and I am now obsessed with your channel, you've seriously inspired me to get into DIY. Amazing job!
Nice seeing a girl getting the job done... those angle cuts on the trim were a brilliant idea for the front, and the colours chosen makes it look great. thanks for sharing and a nice presentation.
Your smile makes me happy... and your finished product here is amazing! I'm incorporating this dresser into a closet redesign and am now considering edging the drawers and adding handles. Thanks for taking all the time to put this video together! You have a new fan from the US!!
You are truly inspiring and I love your 'can do' approach to perfectionism. You teach good habits; I have usually been a 'cut corners' kinda gal, but you really show the benefits of taking each step carefully. Awesome lady, thank you!
Hi, this is gonna be my first DIY project (equally parts scared and excited)! A couple of questions: 1. Did you also sand and paint the sides and insides of the drawers? 2. How long do you think this would take to make for a beginner? Thanks so much :)
Exactly what I need to know re: MDF etc. Thorough details regarding technique and products. Thank you so much. I feel ready to tackle my very old HiFi cabinet now!
Great job! I only painted ours so didn't go as far as you for remodelling the drawer fronts. I did invest in the glass tops they sell to help prolong the life of the tops after painting though. Found this to be so worthwhile for cleaning, preventing scratching, staining etc...
My daughter has the white marm units and bedside cabinet. she wants new black ones but I'm going to follow what you have done in this vid. amazing results.. I'm a D. I. Y er, for over 40yrs..your vids are brilliant. keep up the great tutorials x
I just bought two of these in IKEA yesterday in a lovely grey stain and have finished putting them together this actual minute! I now now what to do with them in a few years time when I'm fed up with them and fancy a new look! Fab x
Loved this hack, I have a lot of Malm and it's beginning to look a bit shabby (and not in a chic way). However, just to say, from the very first moments of vid, I just loved your vibe, natural way of explaining and that gorgeous smile. Top job Shade - you have a new subscriber!
Brilliant job! I love the detail, now I know what I’ve been doing wrong. I have a large toy box my brother made for me when he was in high school wood shop more than 50 + years ago. It’s needs a little TLC as it’s gone from toy box to hope chest and now blanket storage and bench seat. Thank you for this video.
I have the white Malm chest of drawers, which is still in good condition, but I have another melamine piece I was watching this for. However, I'm now thinking about adding pretty pulls to my drawers.
Loved this! Thank you so much. I'm looking to redo my apartment/flat right now but trying to avoid buying new furniture, etc so I've been looking at how to revamp our MALM dressers. Also, your voice is so soothing! Subscribed immediately!
Can I just say, you are absolutely beautiful! Great job BTW, I am in the process of refurbishing my daughter's room right now as she will be moving back in after uni soon. She has a Malm chest of drawers, you've given me tonnes of inspo!
This is one of the better upcycles I've seen - very tasteful.
"Caretious" is brilliant! 🤭🤗 Great video and final look of your drawer. 😍 Thanks!
You are thorough and I love how professional your piece look! It looks fantastic!
You explain things incredibly well. Thank you for going through each step in detail

Just gorgeous!! That trim choice definitely took this piece from drab to fab. Well done!!
The new word: "caretious" now that needs to appear on countdown! You rock Shade!!
