    This looks great!! I just picked up / dressers from Facebook market place and trying to make their colors match.
    What type of paint is the black paint exactly? Just regular wall paint? I didn’t see a link for it in the description.

    Love this! Just a question, do the handles bend where the drawer top slopes? Or is there a gap? Thansks

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  7 месяцев назад

      There’s a slight gap (because the top of the malm drawer is sloped). But the handle is perfectly straight. Hope that helps!

    Is there a way to apply the pole wrap (like in the first minute of the video) without the nail glue gun? I only have glue

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  Год назад +1

      You can try with wood glue but it might not hold as well without the nail gun~

    Love this tutorial! I’m going to attempt it with a 6 drawer dresser. Did you happen to use the entire 48x48 pole wrap or did you have some extra left over? Trying to figure out how much I need!

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  9 месяцев назад

      Hi there:) scroll down to the “measurements” on the IKEA site. You want to get a the same amount or a little more pole wrap than the dimensions. Hope that helps:) www.ikea.com/us/en/p/malm-6-drawer-dresser-white-stained-oak-veneer-10360469/?Bedroom_furniture&gbraid=0AAAAAD27g7yMIPNBUtK1nOLzacDWNa6Wn

    Can you drill through the pole wrap to install regular pull handles?

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  7 месяцев назад

      Yes sure. If you are installing the handle in the middle of the drawer for example, then you can drill through the pole wrap and the malm drawer face to install your handle:)

  • @ElenaBarlera

    Can you use the same products if my malm was the white one and not the wood colored one? ☺️

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  5 месяцев назад

      Yes sure! There’s no major difference to the process except you can skip the stain on the drawers. Your results will look lovely! White with wood tones:) if you finish, share a photo with me on YT or IG🥰

    Hello, question please : did you have a hard time screwing the handles because of the fact that the top of the drawers are a little inclined ? Hope you know what I mean… Like the top of the drawers are not flat but a little inclined in order to be able to open them easily.

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  9 дней назад

      yes, so I found that not all handles will work nicely with the slope. The one I have linked in the description box works well though. You can get those! : )

    Your MALM is missing the metal support L brackets for the bottom Piece.

    • @jnnliuliu
      @jnnliuliu  Год назад

      Oh interesting. Yes mine was second hand, so I guess the previous person didn’t assemble it. I took a look at the assembly manual from IKEA. I don’t think it will make a big difference to how you assemble the legs. Only small difference is for the big piece of scrap wood (seen in my video), you can make it shorter so it’s length is from the front of the dresser and ends before the L-bracket. Not sure if that makes sense?~~ feel free to let me know if anything not clear:)
