There is some bad information here. The first generation viper started out with the light weight V10 forged by Lamborghini. That was not introduced in the second generation. The viper never shared the same engine as the truck.
@@fastlaneF1 I own and drive a 1995 Dodge Viper RT10. The only truck that the viper shares an engine with, is the truck that Dodge later equipped with a viper engine. It was the RAM SRT10 and it was a sport truck, not built for towing and such because the engine was built lighter. But that engine is not the same as the v10 ram engine that existed before the viper. That's the engine Lamborghini cast. The only thing that engine has in common with the V10 truck engine is the angle of the pistons. Everything else is different. The only upgrades the second generation got were suspension and exhaust and smooth intake tubes which added a total of 50hp. They introduce a hard top but continued building the convertible RT10 throughout the second generation. I very much appreciate and enjoy your channel. This video is new and maybe you could edit the voiceover to correct it. I believe your channel has credibility and is generally accurate.
