Sherralin, you are such a lovely lady, I passed my class 1 , 2 yrs ago and still struggle with strangers just go into a meltdown. I will conquer it eventually, you are an amazing inspiration. Lisa xx
Glad you enjoy the videos, hopefully they will help you along the way. To be honest you don’t need to conquer anything, just accept it’s part of you. You do you and your real friends will become apparent. I’ll talk to people but I trust very few. When I was at school (many many years ago 😂) fitting in used to worry me, I didn’t drink alcohol until I was 37 but started because I was trying to fit in, as I’ve got older I’ve realised I don’t need to do either. I gave up thinking about it. I gave up drinking. I’m a million times happier now I truly don’t care what anyone thinks of me. If you don’t like me that’s fine. I refuse to live like anyone else wants me to because I’m not them. You like me because I’m me. Keep going hun, the world would be a very boring place if we were all the same 😁😁
Thanks so much for your lovely message, I am getting better by the day just worry about making fellow drivers wait and get panicky, they are always lovely always willing to help.My fellow workers are so lovely and look after me as only lady at the site. You are a pleasure to watch thanks so much. Lisa x
Once again another first class video, loved the content & the professional escorts that guided you through the tunnel, if only the police were that polite & well mannered in this country .
merçi pour cette splendide vidéo et le passage du tunnel de Gibraltar cela m' était totalement inconnu y compris l'accompagnement de la police pour ce passage difficile . encore merci ce moment très agréable .bonnes routes et soyez prudente .
We thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. This one is exceptional and so interesting. Well done to you and the thousands of lorry drivers around the world.
I really enjoyed this video Sherralin and i can see why you think so much of it. It was cool to see you get a Police escort for the whole outbound part of your trip. Keep up the great work.
Hi Sherralin, great video. Got to say, your escort guys were spot on. The lead guy especially. Made sure you Got through with the minimum of hassle. All impressive. Take care MARK uk 😊😊
Thank you for this video, I found it throughly informative and although I’ve been to Gibraltar 3 times I never knew there was a tunnel, so for me an absolutely fascinating journey. Excellent.
That was fascinating , confusing with the Uk style road signs and number plates but driving on the right ,nice to learn about you and your driving story
What a great video Ms Ballard. I thought the escort was a bit of overkill until I saw that truck at the end! How wrong I was lol😂 very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your Estonia video😊
Sherralin, this is the second time I have viewed this trip. The second time is as fascinating as the first. I am salivating in anticipation of your Latvian video as it will be a complete contrast, I suspect from your Spanish trips. Take care, God bless, Sarah from Tasmania.
@SarahSANDFORD that would be me. I'm hella looking forward to it. I will be in Forth. And I will still be in my shorts in the snow. I am hopefully going to get settled down under and bring my family out their to try start a new life for my family
@GBtrucklady Sorry for slow response. Walked the dog. Forth is between Bernie and Devonport. I personally have not been to the farm but have passed through the area frequently. It is a very agricultural area in the north of the state. The coast is close with some lovely beaches. The sea water may not be as warm as Conwall as there is no Gulf stream flowing past. We are in the roaring 40s, so it can be slightly windy. Lovely area to live in. Tassie is slightly old-fashioned in outlook, probably not as up to England in modern ways. Lovely place for raising children. Education standards are probably not up to English standards. If they do move here, you will have to join them as it is a long way to visit. Truck drivers are needed here, but I suspect mainland driving would be more your cup of tea. Hope this info is helpful. I live an hour and a half away from Forth. Sarah.
Hi,lady this was very interesting and informative I get into some interesting positons😂😂 it's a shame you couldn't get more info you're channel is the best as my late father said he was ex lorry driver he would've called you the strong silent type not one for blowing you're own trumpet but 💯 reliable as always stay safe and best regards to all you LORRY Drivers 🏴🇬🇧🎥🚚
Listening to your video today you mentioned where you have been over the years, this interested me greatly as when I was driving I did many things from the UK and Ireland to my first trip over the water to Ismir in Turkey and subsequently the rest of the Middle East for about 5 and a half years and you’re mentioning Romania where apart from about 5 reloads I always reloaded normally flat pack furniture for a warehouse off the north circular road.Keep doing a great job looking forward to the next.
What a great video! I've seen Gibraltar from seaward going through the straits enroute the UK. Never got there on land..Got to tour a lot of Europe in the 70's (Triumph Bonnevile!)..Andorra, San Merino, Luxembourg, and lots of other little countries..your videos conjure up fond memories...Stay safe
Thanks again for a really informative video, always enjoy them no matter what you are doing. The two police motorcyclists really knew their stuff, helpful but not overbearing. Safe journeys.
Atta girl, good luck to you that was fascinating, your escorts trusted you from the off, like many others I never knew of this tunnel the airport i understand that the road is closed for arrivals and departures. Safe travels...
Hi Honey I haven't seen you for a long time until now. I'm the retired lady truck driver from Florrida. It's great seeing you and your safe. Be careful winter is coming. My name is Nancy. My prayers for you to stay safe.
Just started watching this one, I lost 6, 3 book photo albums and negatives in a house move, so only things in my head and a few people I'm still in touch with. So totally understand why you wished you'd recorded things, shame digital cameras weren't about when I did it.
Very true. The problem with getting older is people just see an older person, they don’t see what made the person. Young people think they are the first to do everything, I’m sure we were the same though 😂😂🤣
Hello good to see Gib once more many years since I was last there mostly to safeways/ Morrisons supermarket Now packed up after many years I shore are paths we crossed at less once all the best to you cheers
I know of the tunnels as my dad told me about them. He was in the Royal Navy during the war, and the ships he were on would frequently dock at Gibraltar on their way to and from Malta and on to the Suez canal to join the Pacific Fleet when Japan joined the war. Would be better if the police escorts could use their blues and twos, although looking at some of the locals, you can see they don't see many lorries heading towards the Rock😊. My first trip into Europe, although on holiday, was with my husband, who had been in the Army, and he wanted to take me so he could show me where he'd been stationed. So we went from Ramsgate to Zeebrugge, and on into Holland visiting Arnhem (A Bridge Too Far), then on into West Germany (as it was then - 1980s), and visited Hamlin (beautiful town), and included visiting Belson Concentration Camp, as the British Army are stationed at the German's (SS) camp where they were stationed, which is about 3 miles from the concentration camp. When we arrived there, Tom's old regiment was stationed there, and we could enter. We went into the NAAFI, where there was still a carving of the German Eagle with its wing's spread out over the entrance door, but the two stormtroopers which used to be under the wings, had been chiseled out. We also included a visit to the dams where the Dambusters had dropped their bouncing bombs. Anyway, I have now finished watching the video. Fantastic. Great when you get things ticked off your bucket list. Its a sense of achievement. Also, kudos to the police of leaving you to work your way back out on your own through the tunnel. You should be proud.
Another nice one Sherralin.... Dudley Ward was the governor of Gib from 1962 to 1965 ( I'm not smart I just looked it up ) It would have been better if he had used a bigger shovel !!! Getting round that left hander into the tunnel on the way back out would be a mission. There's a light house at Goulburn, Which is 260 km's inland from Sydney. Is Clive Luxton still doing Morocco, he was subbing for Mann...... I always wanted to take a camera when we were doing Italy China, but we were always warned of it..... One day there was a Rynart truck parked up in the rail yard at Almaty ( where we all used to do customs) We were all told many time that the truck had been searched and the driver had a camera.... That truck and load was there for the best part of 2 years...
Absolutely fascinating. I thought they drove on the left! Loved the way the rider stopped every 200 metres or so to check your progress. Was it really steep? the truck was straining? You can't make out on video. Take care missus!
You should line yourself up with a little skip truck driving job for when you eventually retire you would definitely not need the whole width of the road like the one you just met
Oh wow going into that tunnel with you my heart was in my throught. Ive been through Holland and Lincoln tunnels there a little wider then that.good job girl !!!!!
Talking about toliets itis the same here in America They make you feel like you have a dusease. I got tured of it so another lady truck driver suggested avempty coffee can. On LTD she use a baggies. I couldnt do that it would be all over.
Hi, Not that easy to keep in the middle of a bent tunnel ? I take it you lowered the trailer suspension as well as the tractor unit otherwise it would have put you at more than 4 mtr , Why ever did you give up working for yourself ? as i found it much better than working with / for Clowns, infact i could never went back working for someone, i dont know how you could ?, I found you where much better thought of by the customers as they where dealing direct, so you allways had the cream at no additonal cost lol, I started on my own at 27 years old and never looked back, just wish i had done european work full time as its much better conditions over there, but i did have very good paying UK work at the time ? well all the time as i would Not work for Crap rates, Like so many Owner Drivers did in the day, There where/is always Good Rates out there just needed to Look, most were to busy trying to earn a living so never made any money lol. All the very best Sherralin keep on Trucking.
As always great stuff .....im a proper fan ❤

Gib is such a small place, keeping the roads moving is a big part of the police work but I’ve always found the police helpful. 😁

My son has been offered a job on a farm in Tasmania, small world!
@GBtrucklady Is he seriously considering moving? Where abouts in Tassie is the job?. I will be a lot colder in winter than he gets in Cornwall. Sarah
@SarahSANDFORD It’s called Havest Moon Forth Farm.
I think he’s coming first to see how he gets on, with a view to them all going

How comes you don't own your own lorry anymore??? Is it not worth the hassle? I ask cause I've just passed my CPC and thinking of the future
Simple answer, I didn’t want to. 😁
Tell you what I wish I was a millionaire. I would build truck stops like we have in America because y'all need them in Europe.
We certainly do! 😁
