Your comments from 9.30mins onwards are the sole reason nobody wants to drive a lorry nowadays. Glad I do something else now. Love seeing the trucks on the ferries
O m g Sherraden 6,1/2 Hrs to tip a trailer , I do multi drop every week in Scotland from Milton Keynes & I am self tip @ all my deliveries , box , or dolly off and gone 70 odd deliveries @ about 40 ish places Sunday to Friday , have a great safe holiday xxxxxx
Hey Sherralin can I ask you a favor if you traveled to Levirpool anytime to make a full video I really miss Liverpool one of the lorry Driver just had a video from there today but wasn't quite satisfying anyway thank you your are the best. Araz from IRAQ
Hi Sherralin. I thought I knew your accent. My mum and her sister were both born and brought up in Warrington. When my mum's sister married (in the early 1950s), she moved to Burton-on-Trent (she worked in the accounts department of Ind Coope). Anyway, she lived there for over 60 years, and she had the same accent as yourself🤣, in fact, you sound just like her. Looking at the roadworks on the A1. I think I got caught in that back in July/August. I'd just visited Lincoln for the day, and was on my way home, and took a wrong turn and ended up on the A1 (should have got on A15). Got caught in the road works, and just kept on until I got to the M62. I watch an American trucker in S Carolina, and he has to do the same occasionally. Put it on the bays, then either drop the trailer and drive off (he usually drives out of the area, and goes and get his lunch at a food restaurant a couple of miles away, and the firm phones him when its ready), or disconnects his lines to the trailer and take his keys into the office
Nope sorry, I don’t have their accent. The company is based in Burton, I don’t have any connections to there. I grew up in a village in rural Worcestershire but have lived many years in rural Herefordshire, 2 hours away. I travel to the yard. To be honest Burton/Tamworth area is far too busy for me. 😁
Hi loaded cots for mums and pupers in logrona Spain spoke to the customer direct in Yorkshire they booked me in working my time out ferry’s extra when I arrived have hour early told to get my head down for a few hours was not having that after a few harsh words I was unloaded in a hour with my help all hand ball 55 years trucking could not stand to much of that six hours never used to be that bad most customers were glad to get the goods on time have a good break keep the videos coming nice to know wats going on out there now especially Spain regards bob
Hello sherralin, been a subscriber for a few months now. Like what you do. Just listened to sara cox on t2. She was talking to a cornish farmer who was giving a shout out to his mum who had been visiting and was on her way back home to drive her lorry. Could Jacob be ur son perhaps
The company i drove for wouldn't allow Over the Road drivers to deliver to Walmart warehouse. Our yard was about 1km away and the city drivers delt woth the b.s.
Hi 👋🏻 Sherralin. That soft docking system on that trailer is right palaver 😊But as always you cooly did it as gracefully as possible 👍🏻 have a wonderful time in Cornwall and come back all refreshed and ready for your next trip into sunny ☀️ Spain 🇪🇸 xx
Sherralin, It used to upset me as well. Some distribution centre's nothing, Some please hand your keys in, Some, Keep an eye on the traffic lights. I had one delivery where you dropped the trailer, and was given a Lock to put on the trailer Pin so nobody could couple to the trailer. The worst were you had to unload your trailer. Manual pump truck, depending on how desperate they was for the contents. If it was urgent you was given an electric pump truck. After some training by an employee. I never understood how they thought training was required to operate the pump truck, I was trusted to drive a 44T truck all over the UK.
Enjoyed the video, UK looks beautiful in the sunshine, never had to drop trailer in any warehouse, that's a new one me i have got mildly irateted handing in keys no radio no electric windows . You deserve a good holiday after a drop like this , enjoy and keep safe.
Propper old skool lady trucker just like Kay a friend of mine from many years ago retired now after 50+ years of uk and European driving I salute you love you keep me sane in my retirement I still think watching your videos keeps me a part of the best community I was proud to to a member of Best wishes Reggie xxxx thank you
hi Sherralin great video what a time kept waiting to unload best part was getting see your boy and the grand kids nothing beats that hope got drive the tractor till next 1 have safe trip back in Europe 👍 xx
Soft docking was a nightmare, trailer used to stop about 5 foot from bay and when you give it a few more revs it would smash into the bay, company soon removed it😂
We are based not far from Darrington and it's not unusual to use the A19 and then M62 to avoid it , and the work is due to be ongoing for many more months. Bet you miss the comparative lack of traffic in Europe. Enjoy your hols and thanks for the upload.
Thx 🙏 you for letting us ride along with you plenty of fiddling going on 😂 Have a good Holiday with your family ❤️❤️ Can't wait for your next Adventure
Have a fantastic holiday. Always enjoy watching ur video's. Oh btw, has the company ever delivered to the Scandinavian countries. Could be another adventure.
Great video as always, let me know what they do to cure your soft docking as I have to endure the same problem on a daily basis 😖. Have a fantastic holiday, looking forward to your next adventure 👍🏻👍🏻
another good one - TK Max should be charged demurrage for making you wait that long. What happens when you rock up at the gate and dont have 4 hours duty time left?
There’s a problem with the wiring. A short somewhere, it doesn’t do it all the time but when it doesn’t do it it losses left hand side lights 🤷🏼♀️😂😂 It’s I’m workshop being fixed now. It was amusing though, like an over excited brake dancer 😂😂😂
Hi great video Been there I was there all day waiting to be tipped. The best bays are the ones where you reverse and the bar locks onto your rear axle Which country do you prefer to drive in ?
To drive in, would be Spain as a lot of their industrial areas are out of town. Germany is usually very efficient and clean. But the nicest most helpful people with a beautiful country are the Portuguese.
This is one reason I don't drive now uk gone mad health and safety and lacking in keeping trucks moving more rules Drove in Australia, and they would m ake them pay for any think over 1 hour that speeds thinks up
Yep, it only happens when I go backwards 🤣😂🤣😂 The trailer had an electrical fault, random lights working at different times. 🤷🏼♀️🤣😂🤣. It was straight into workshop when I got done. 😁👍🏻
And these places wonder why nobody wants to deliver to them, nobody has that kind of time to waste tipping/loading anymore, thought this would be a thing of the past 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Wow what a performance, no wonder things are expensive, 6hrs!!!
Good video thanks for sharing! 👍
Thanks for watching!

Hi a good video. I have been meany a time to these same places. They are a waste of time. Go carefully.
Great video.

lols 3 axle unit towing that little trailer :), sledgehammer to crack a nut springs to mind :) :)
It just happened to be a spare unit for the day. They do a lot of ground work, tipper work and infrastructure work.

I used to push the shunt button in on the trailer when I opened the doors before backing on the bay on soft docking trailers, it worked for me

hiya Sherralin yet another great video,, have a great holiday already looking forward to your next video,,, as always stay safe !!!
Thanks again enjoy your holidays, hope the journey to Cornwall goes OK traffic wise
I enjoy watching your videos. Can you charge them waiting time?
I think so. I leave that to the office 😁
They are using the Trailer as extra floor space, to Break/Make loads.
Tell them you only have 2 hours on the clock, and see what happens.
If you don’t have 4 hours left when you are booking in you will be turned away and told to rebook. After 4 hours you can claim demurrage.
Soft docking was a nightmare, trailer used to stop about 5 foot from bay and when you give it a few more revs it would smash into the bay, company soon removed it😂
😂😂😂😂 Yep 👍🏻
Have a great holiday .Enjoy .

better aspect now that you've pulled back the zoom
You had to show my broken tool box lol
😂😂😂😘
Have a fantastic holiday. Always enjoy watching ur video's. Oh btw, has the company ever delivered to the Scandinavian countries. Could be another adventure.
The company mostly does UK & Spain although they’re not adverse to going anywhere if the rate is good. Thanks for watching 😁👍🏻
Are you happy with your Volvo FH 540 sherralin and thanks 👍 again for your road 🛣️ trip video.
Hi, yes it’s ok. A million times better than the DAF 😁👍🏻
Great video as always, let me know what they do to cure your soft docking as I have to endure the same problem on a daily basis 😖. Have a fantastic holiday, looking forward to your next adventure 👍🏻👍🏻
Take electrical suzie off
Sadly it’s linked through the ISO lead 🥴 so not possible
another good one - TK Max should be charged demurrage for making you wait that long. What happens when you rock up at the gate and dont have 4 hours duty time left?
They turn you away and w have to rebook.
What I always to them is see youtomorrow. Always take a 9 minimum, they have a shunter to take it off the bay.
Forgot to-say thanks for posting!
Can u unplug the wbs lead when reversing , should stop the docking problem . Sometimes they stop at shadows lol
There’s a problem with the wiring. A short somewhere, it doesn’t do it all the time but when it doesn’t do it it losses left hand side lights 🤷🏼♀️😂😂 It’s I’m workshop being fixed now.

brilliant thank you leena trucker seems to have lost the plot .
Hi great video

To drive in, would be Spain as a lot of their industrial areas are out of town. Germany is usually very efficient and clean. But the nicest most helpful people with a beautiful country are the Portuguese.
I admire you ❤️
I cannot believe the receiver is not paying demurrage on truck and driver unloading at that rate. Some outfit, they must be walking around backwards.
This is one reason I don't drive now uk gone mad health and safety and lacking in keeping trucks moving more rules
Drove in Australia, and they would m ake them pay for any think over 1 hour that speeds thinks up
Soft docking can be disabled by pulling the ABS lead... Just sayin'.
Yep, it only happens when I go backwards 🤣😂🤣😂 The trailer had an electrical fault, random lights working at different times. 🤷🏼♀️🤣😂🤣. It was straight into workshop when I got done. 😁👍🏻
But if you are Pork and Cheese you can park in front of the gates.
I would like to use another word, but I will just say that is why this country is so messed up. Enjoy your holiday.
nowt wrong with cornwall they make the best cornish pasties
Yes they do, just to many people for me. 😁
RDC's should be charged femurage after the first hour. 6 hrs for tipping, total discusting
Promo'SM 😚
Doesn’t sound like that depot could organise a Pi££ up in a brewery.
😂😂😂
6 hours to unload, that is ridiculous. I'm soo glad I don't deliver to RDC's
And these places wonder why nobody wants to deliver to them, nobody has that kind of time to waste tipping/loading anymore, thought this would be a thing of the past 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Nice one, not much respect for drivers when they hold you for 6 hours, great video!
