I enjoyed your reaction and look forward to more reactions to The Warning. I looked at your library of reactions to learn most are to metal, like Jinger. I have always been a rock fan but want to introduce you to a young female vocalist who has become my all time favorite singer storyteller, Angelina Jordan. Many metalheads have become fans of this self taught jazz singer, who can sing just about anything. Angelina is currently 18 and like The Warning is celebrating 10 years as a on stage performer. She won Norway's Got Talent at age 8, singing Billie Holiday.
Her genius arrangement of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" was loved by the surviving members of Queen so much, they posted a link to it on their Twitter and allowed Angelina to copyright her version. Angelina has a deep, rich, extremely soulful voice and is the only one to ever make me cry. I look forward to your first step in Angelina's journey, as she truly is the music industry's best kept secret, even though she signed with Republic Records at age 14. Angelina is a vocal master.
Another masterful musical performance and another amazing piece of poetry by Tati. I would love to have a book of poetry created from the lyrics to every Jinjer song. Tati knows just when and how to use the harsh vocals to have most impact in the poetry she doesn't just use it for "shock" or theatrical effect. Love Jinjer.

Oh oh, the dreaded Wacken 2019 show. Pretty much only Perennial from that show had good sound. And crazy enough, Perennial was spectacular.

Love your parenting style. I was much the same with my only daughter. I never once had to raise my hand to her. Her sense of conscience and ethics was so keen, I could just look at her, and she knew when she'd transgressed. I could see it on her face. Often it would be a wordless exchange between us. I could tell she got it.
It's better to teach children how to be kind and efficient adults. Let them play and be silly and pretend and mess up and fall down, but we're not raising them to be children.
And they're not punching bags for stress relief.
Bottom line, don't make people if people irritate you to the point of violence. 💯

Song is from the 2019 EP Micro, but this is not the best version sound wise. Here at Wacken 2019, they were scheduled first on at like 11 a.m., but went on late because the sound guys had issues, when they did go on the sound was still iffy, as you see. They played as much of their set as time allowed, finally got the sound figured out for the last song , Perennial. For better sound on this song, check out the lyric video or the (Official Live Bootleg) on their channel 'Jinjer Metal Band'.

As I was raised, the term was "children are to be seen, not heard" and there was always the threat of getting smacked. My father figure was my grandfather, so I guess I am more old school in that aspect. I don't raise my son like I was raised, so maybe there's something to be said for the "kids" like me that learned one way and taught another way. I feel the best way to teach is to set the example and watch the kid adjust. Hope it works, the world is radically different now vs then.

@@VocalCitizen My upbringing made me who I am, I'm not sorry for it. Those old WWII vets were tough and they made tough kids, right or wrong. I wouldn't have the drive nor the will if I had a squishy role model.
One of the rare Jinjer songs that the lyrics were written by Eugene, with another one being Sit, Stay, Roll Over!

Tati often had technical problems with her in-ear monitors at this concert, which is why she sometimes had vocal fluctuations. That's a horror for a singer live. Sometimes you can see it in Tati's face...

You can see now why Eugene hesitated for a moment to cover that subject matter. Glad he didn't stop himself.
BTW I do have a few music suggestions outside of Jinjer (not done with them either) but whether they are something you want to react to or just enjoy outside of RUclips I don't know. I don't want to make a request that gets you low views because it might not appeal to subscribers who come to see metal reactions. Try Leonid and Friends Superstar (Carpenters cover). Not metal but music for your generation that I think you will like.

My favorite band from this century. 💙💛Have and listen to all of their CDs in my truck. Dreadful Moments never connected. I always skip it when Micro is spinning. There are a handful of Jinjer' songs I'm not fond of. It's typical. Hell, I'm not fond of way more Led Zeppelin songs than Jinjer songs. So, there. 😁
Lol same.......deep subject matter but musically the groovy interwoven connection between different time meter changes in various sections is sorely missing and sounds disjointed......ape has fractal sections but is brilliantly connected throughout......this is definitely not 😂😂.

Lol official lyric video and the official live bootleg video from their own channel would be better options for this than wacken version.....definitely one of my least favorite tracks from jinjer even though i like almost all of em anyways 😂😂

Jinjer is one of those bands that it matters which version you watch for the best experience. Not that this is bad but it's not the best choice for this song...
