Anyone who hits the gym often enough knows just how important dumbbells can be to your workouts, and these NordicTrack Select-A-Weight Dumbbells are some of the best budget adjustable dumbbells on the market. With weights ranging from 10 to 55 pounds, these are a great option for those who don’t have the space for a full set of traditional dumbbells. Plus, you’ll also receive a free 30-day iFit membership with your purchase, which offers thousands of strength training classes.
While adjustable dumbbells are not new by any means, NordicTrack took a different approach than its competition. The Select-A-Weight design features an adjustable pin that is able to slide back and forth on each side of the dumbbell. Simply lift the pin and slide it to the desired weight, then release to lock it in place. Dumbbells will never be able to fully replace a gym membership on their own, but they offer great variety for at-home workouts - from upper-body work for the biceps, triceps, and shoulders to lower body exercises, such as split-squats. So, if you use a variety of different dumbbell weights regularly and want a more compact option for your home gym, the NordicTrack Select-A-Weight Dumbbells could be a great option for you. Great review!
I just ordered the 55lb-ers! You sold me on the 2.5lb increments. My gym has a huge dumbell set x 2.5lbs and it's a game changer for doing accessory shoulder work. Compact design > than my Olympic d-bell set. I hate setting them on my thighs. So awkward.
Do these fit the Jayflex EZ Curl Bar?
These look great
I need those
Thoughts on these vs Core Fitness dumbbells?
I've give these the nod. The fully knurled, steel handles are an upgrade, and you have 2.5-pound increments rather than just five pounds.
What is the length of the DB at max weight and diameter of the plates?
About 16.5 inches in length when maxed out!
I'm from Europe and the NordicTrack DB are not for sale here. Does anybody know if these are the same DB as the Taurus Selectabell? They look exactly the same and also the companies are both more fitnessmachines. The Select-A-weight compares with the Selectbell principle (also found on BodyMax).
It amazes me that the channel hasn't bothered to respond to anyone.
@@vontrap6942 yep... maybe not interesting after sponsoring..
I'm in UK and just bought a set of NT from Amazon last week
Very impressed with them so far
@@anok4u2 I have the Taurus selectable and they seem to be the same. Very happy with them!
You can but the same weights under the Weider brand for significantly less money.
Thanks for the comment! Looking at the prices, it looks like only a 50$ difference? We'll take a further look at these Weider dumbbells
@@Barbend when I bought them for $250 it was a $150 savings over the full price NordicTrak ones.
cant find them anywhere in stock
