But other than that, these look incredible. I didn’t care for the 90lb sets cause it felt unbalanced at the heavy weight when doing say chest press even placing the PBs in their nested rack was sometimes cumbersome. These would be similar I suppose but since they are all steel, it would be less prone to breaking unlike the nuobells. So many choices out there now…..gotta decide lol

Excellent review as always, and my now number one pick for adjustable dumbells. I'll be saving up over the next year for these puppies.
Bought the SNODE dumbbells last month, they will be here in a few days. I will use those until I get stronger and further reach my earning potential. I will be able to do a lot with those until then.
@angelorusso9345 If you want 120 lbs get the Pepin dumbbells. I would've gotten them instead if I had the money to buy them outright. The SNODE dumbells are awesome though, so really it is up to what you want.
Prices mentioned in the video are in Canadian dollars. They're currently $1392 usd for the 2x60lb set + shipping. Shipping to Michigan is $178... so total they're $1571 usd. You can get Powerblock Elite EXPs 5-50 lb with 70 lb expansion set for $558 total including shipping... and you don't need to buy the expansion set up front. The Powerblocks can go between 5 and 70 lbs in 5 lb increments, with an additional 2.5 addition to go to x7.5 lbs but not x2.5 lbs. Bit weird. The Pepins can go between 20 and 60 lbs, so you'll also need to buy separate 5, 10, 15, and 70 lb dumbbells to be equivalent. The Pepins have 5 lb increments but with off balance weighting, although you could buy the expensive add-on plates instead which make them more adjustable than the Powerblocks. Four 1.25lb add-on plates, literally 5 lbs total, costs $78 extra... The 2.5 lb add-on plates, literally 10 lbs total, costs $118 extra. I'm not kidding.... The 2x80lb Pepin set is $1511. Shipping to Michigan is $248 more. Total $1759. That's 10 lbs more weight per dumbbell than the Powerblock Elites with stage 2 expansion, but you can get the stage 3 expansion for another $169 shipped.. and again, you don't need to buy it up front. That still puts the Pepins at 2.4x more expensive with 10 lbs less weight per hand and less adjustability unless you buy the expensive add-on weights. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this is a great quality set, and the compactness, ease of adjustability, grips, and made in NA is certainly worth a premium, but this is one helluva premium. The Powerblocks have slower adjustability, but compactness is similar, and you can get them made in the USA for nearly the same amount of money as the EXPs. The grips and form factor may of the elites may not be as good, but that's up the individual. Hell, you could buy two sets of the Powerblocks and adjust them ahead of time for a drop set, and still save money over the Pepins.

I see a lot of fitness products nowadays that seem to be unjustifiably expensive. This is not one of them. Pepin spinlocks are freaking awesome from personal experience, so an all steel quick adjustable dumbbell from them is unapologetically worth that price in my opinion. The owner is an A1 dude, and Pepin has consistently innovated their products. Like you pointed out, these are built to last and, most importantly, they save a TON of space. Great review Coop!
Excellent review Coop! Holding out for the rumored 160lb version of these...Pepin seems to keep refining and implementing feedback, nice to see this product develop over time.
I'm not sure if Coop realizes, but he was looking at the 2x60lbs dumbbells on their website, not the 2x120lbs (in the screenshot anyway). It's actually CAD$2796 with shipping to Texas for the 2x120lbs ones. But then it's also in Canadian dollars, so it's USD$2065, which is slightly cheaper than the $2145 he showed. Funny how 2 large mistakes evened out to one small mistake.
Only the slightest gripe with what is otherwise a great, thorough review: say the price at the very start. I'd rather have the proposed value in mind as every category is presented than have to rewind every spec in my head after the fact. Now maybe Pepin requested you do it this way to entice the audience with features first, but I believe in consumer-first practices¹. Regardless, thanks for posting these helpful vids! ¹Semi off-topic rant: At a $2000+ price point, I know even some rich folks out there would hesitate with such an investment, but yeah this is pretty bananas for most consumers, especially in the US with our totally broken cost-of-living. Not to mention that, in my view, getting healthy should be *encouraged and enabled*, not locked behind premium pay walls with expensive equipment, gym memberships, coaches/programs, and healthy food, but I digress.
It’s a premium product so the price reflects that. You don’t need these dumbbells to get healthy, getting healthy doesn’t even require a gym membership so not sure what you’re even talking about. With that being said you could always just join a local community gym and pay $20-40 bucks a month, which is affordable for almost anyone.
Been waiting for this review. These check off a lot of boxes, but for me would be like spending money on adding a top tier roof top tent to my truck for when I go camping, but I rarely go camping.
Debated between these and iron masters for months and ended up going with iron masters. That price was the main factor. Couldn’t justify it since dumbbells are a secondary movement. Plus I was able to upgrade my plate loaded lat low row to the selectorized 300 pound version and get the 120 pound iron masters for the same price
@@michaelwelsh9957 I’d go the iron master route. Changing weights doesn’t take that much time. I’m sure the Pepin’s are great but for double the price it’s a tough pill to swallow
would it be possible to somehow get the shipping cost to europe down? i would take the plunge, but $900 just for shipping plus import and duties makes it really unreasonable to go for these :(
@@Iamsampresley Pepin do seem to be in a class all unto themselves. I forecast that these Pepin Fast dumbells will be copied by the others soon enough. Tech like this seems to filter down.
I made a suggestion to the owner that there's a way to do it without the rails. He said he considered it, but ultimately didn't like that it took the speed down a slight bit. Personally, I'm on the fence with the rails and the price. I'm thinking if snode just made their plates more compact with a steel design, they could have the ultimate winner
I actually researched adj dumbbell designs for almost a year. And considering the history of them, and their engineering. This is by far , without a doubt the most saavy and pragmatic design ive seen. Absolutely a work of art TBH. It solved several issues. Without creating any additional functional problems or cheap components. Price is expensive. But shoot theres nothing like it
@@MegaCosmoVisionI have the Ironmaster and love them for the traditional dumbbell feel. However I miss the quick weight switching. The Pepin seems like it ticks off all those boxes 😀
Cool weight change mechanism, but gets clunky with 5 lb increments, and the price is insane. Ironmaster is still king, especially if you get their kettlebell handles (which of course are compatible with the db plates).
Plus, your hands are not trapped inside a cage like some of these. I just want to grip a bar and want durability like Iron Masters. To each his own though.
Wish Nuobell would just make an "All Metal" version for an extra cost. That seems like it would be the best of both worlds. Would come in cheaper than these, and be much more durable.
HOLY shit the bed! 2 GRAND for dumbells!!! My entire current set of workout equipment is less than 2k dollars. And with them starting at 20 lbs I would STILL need to keep my Bowflex 552's for my wife. I guess Snode still is my #1 option.
I'm glad they go up so heavy. It's funny how most adjustable dumbbells stop at 80, that seems to be the standard. Why not just make them bigger and hit 100?
Coop, I would really like to see you review some equipment designed for handicap/ wheelchair lifters. There are a good amount of gym products and equipment designed for paraplegic, quadriplegic and older lifters who can't easily use standard gym equipment. You should consider having a paraplegic as well as quadriplegic help you out with these reviews just so you can get a true understanding of how well they work or don't work.
You mentioned the 5lb increment adjustment as a technicality but one of the upsides to allowing each side's weight to be set separately is that you can create purposeful imbalances. This is fantastic when setting your pinky side heavier to allow your short head bicep muscle to exert more work to suppinate vs a perfectly balanced normal dumbbell which pivots with no resistance.
These are the first adjustable dumbbells I actually desire. When I buy my new house and plan my gym room I shall consider these in the decision if space is limited. This far in my current home I have a set of hex dumbbells that fit, just.
Wow, over $2k? I'll stick with my Powerblock 90s and 50s. I also recommend the Titan dumbbell stands, if you can find them. I love how you can step in between them and not have to bend over for heavy weights. Final recommendation is the Ironmaster dumbbell spotting stands. They have revolutionized my decline/incline/flat and seated presses. I can go much heavier and not risk injury or damaging my floor.
I love both the ironmasters and pepins. I had my IM's first but since i got pepins, i mainly use the Ironmasters for 5-20lb work with change plates to make small jumps.
Absolutely love these adjustable dumbells and the design and quality are top notch but for your average home gym guy like myself it’s not very affordable! Great Review as always!
the initial investment is worth the long term value...lifetime guarantee....almost like snap-on tools...buy once, cry once....this is just past my prime by 25 yrs...but if i was 25 again, I would be all over these
Awesome review Coop! These check all my boxes. I currently have Iron Masters but will be looking to upgrade to these eventually. I'm happy to pay a premium price for a premium product.
Looks good, but to be honest, but only for advanced lifters. Bought NUOBELLs recently and starting weight 2kg and 2kg increment is a love. It gives me more results now but probably in 2 years, I will consider something like PEPIN.
Not only would your idea be cheaper for consumers but it would also be cheaper for Pepin. This change would mean that Pepin only needs to manufacture one tray which would bring down the total price in manufacturing. One change I would make to you design would be to create interlocking bars (interlock your fingers and then pull them apart so your finger tips remain in contact), with this design you could take the same amount of material and almost double the capacity.
Picked a pair up, 193/500. They live up to the hype and more. Make my Nuobells feel like toys. Not sure how much more I can add in value compared to this and Basement Brandon reviews. It's worth echoing that these are an investment and if you are on the fence - do it. What's more, had some dialogue back and forth with David and he's a solid dude.
Not a bad deaign but I want something that does not require carrying the dumbbell back to the block to change weight but can still add weight in a quick fashion, remain compact, and can handle a drop. Still waiting for something to replace my Ironmaster and Bowflex dumbbells. I've already derived a viable concept, but does not seem like the juice is worth the squeeze economically try to run with it.
I considered these when thinking about long term durability. I ordered nuobell in the end. I thought as durable as these are they will still eventually rust so potentially won’t last a lifetime anyway. I wanted the true dumbbell feel so took the plunge with nuobell, if durability becomes an issue my next move would be powerblock and I’d just accept the design at that point, the durability plus cost effectiveness vs these ones potentially rusting. So those were my thoughts if anyone’s thinking over the same products.
These are coated with probably the best powder coat outside of high end commercial racks. I don't see rust being an issue unless you really abuse it. Plus the plates can be replaced in the future, if they individually rust.
I use Hoist, having bought both the 45lb and 75lb sets. They have lasted decades, and have served most of my needs over the years. That said, I have recently enjoyed your reviews.
Had me sold till I saw price... $2k for their cheapest pair is wild. To think you can afford a whole vehicle for that price is crazy. Looks like great equipment and well done review, but even if I did get my hands on these, $166 for a 2.5lbs add on plate is beyond me 😂
I love my 90lb power blocks, but if I was to ever upgrade. This would be my choice. I bought the power blocks at the height of the pandemic for $1500 like new.
I have the 1,300 commercial power Blocks that go up to 52 pounds and don’t allow you to expand. It has knurl though. I’m thinking of selling it after the next iteration of the Peppin becomes available.
Hmmm... I have the 80lb Nuobells.. but they're in my living room. Maybe these Pepins could be added to my garage gym. I like the fact that these are mostly metal.
They look fantastic but are really pricey. I disagree that you can start at 60 and grow into 120 - the 60's are really expensive on their own too. All that being said - they look like the best option for stronger guys
Bit of a misrepresentation of the price. Showed the price in Canadian dollars (CAD) and compared it to products in USD. Not sure everyone would notice it was in CAD. Take about 30% off for USD.
I love the innovation in the dumbbell space. I find myself initially wanting something new, but I keep coming back to my power block pros (5 to 90 with knurled handle) being the best choice for me. (1) I prefer the cage design. It allows me to hang them from daisy chain straps to create a spotting system and a way to get them into position without risk (presses and cross bench pullovers). Plus, attaching them to weight belt is easy and safe with the cages. (2) Having dual handles is awesome. If I’m using the 5 pound handles for say 25lbs, I have the 10 handles right there for a drop set. (3) The bottom rails are fat enough and comfortable enough for neutral grip pressing, hammer curls and pullovers.
I have these and ironmasters, Pepins take the cake! I got the 6th pair made and Pepin has since made improvements but im still more than happy with mine
I thought about selling my IronMasters and getting Pepin, but not at $2000 especially since I have 5 -50 lb pairs of dumbbells to go with my Iron Masters.
@@maxmeier532 Yes, they are less, but that wasn’t the point. The point is I already own them. Selling would result in adding a lot of money to get Pepin.
Man $2000 is a tough pill to swallow compared to all the similar adjustable dumbbells. Love me some Pepins though as I have loved the regular ones I bought two years ago. The knurled handle is amazing
Love the review as always, beautiful piece of hardware. But your channel shows just what kind of gym you can build for $2k. My plate loading dumbbells are a pain in the ass but the cheap price allows me to splurge on things more important to me, like a new lat/ low row system.
It's a good thing you didn't open with the price. I was all in until I went to the website and saw they want over $2,000. I reflexively scoffed out loud. I didn't even finish the video after seeing that. This guy doesn't sell the add on sets yet because no one can afford the initial set. Whoever runs Pepin is out of their mind if they think they'll experience any legitimate commercial success with that price point. I'm back on the Nuobell train.
It’s not like the producer is marking this product up substantially, it costs a lot of money to make these dumbbells, it’s a premium product so the price reflects that
I'd rather have 5-75ib individual dumbbells for the same price as this adjustable set up to 120ib. Only thing that might cause me to reconsider is space but I'd have to be really limited.
They look great most price is crazy. I will stick with the Ironmaster. A pair of Powerblocks almost broke and fell on my head, so never using those again.
Yeah, honestly these are too pricey for most. Although they are great, most of the improvements over powerblock are "nice to haves" and not things that are mandatory. This is really for the niche market for stronger guys that need more weight
@@steverapos3904yup! These look great and the things better than powerblocks are fantastic. But not something I'd be willing to spend that much more for. Now if you're buying powerblocks brand new, last I checked it was going to be like $1200. The jump to these isn't as bad
What’s the experience like using lifting straps w/ these dumbbells? I have Power Blocks Sport 9.0 and because the “cage” is so small it’s nearly impossible to use lifting straps in order to do heavy rows, shrugs, farmer’s carries etc.
Coop you should talk about their stand for the dumbbells. That’s an important part to these reviews as someone who owns nuobells. Looks like the Pepin stand is questionable 🤔.
I just got these in the mail last week from Pepin and just saw today that they combined with Rep Fitness and are dropping a rep/pepin that is 10 to 125 . I don't know if it goes in 5 # increments now but I know I'm pissed. And I hear that they are going to be quite a bit cheaper!
Again appreciate your evaluation these are out of my league but if money was no object I would appreciate the craftsmanship and they will be in my garage also
As long as you have a flat surface these should be able to be adjusted correct? Looks like they have flattish sides. I just use a couple blocks of wood currently for our powerblocks. I don't see the cradles on the site anywhere (only the stands now).
At 9:03 you're holding the asymmetrical dumbbell with the heavier side of the dumbbell by the weaker side of your hand, while relating that you don't like how it feels. Try holding it with the heavier side of the DB by the stronger side of your hand. To me this feels good, not bad.

Ironmaster is king of metal and lifetime
I’m in the same boat. Thinking iron master with the heavy handle kit.
@@michaelwelsh9957 I’d go the iron master route. Changing weights doesn’t take that much time. I’m sure the Pepin’s are great but for double the price it’s a tough pill to swallow
Coop, again , thanks for your honest review !! Now I'd like to see a head to head with the competitor 👊
Nice to have a small Canadian shop playing with the big guys! Je suis fier de toi!!
Is there a competitor?😅
would it be possible to somehow get the shipping cost to europe down? i would take the plunge, but $900 just for shipping plus import and duties makes it really unreasonable to go for these :(

Pepin do seem to be in a class all unto themselves. I forecast that these Pepin Fast dumbells will be copied by the others soon enough. Tech like this seems to filter down.
Amazing review, love the attention to detail. Built like a tank and looks amazing. Hopefully these get popular and the price comes down 💪
I made a suggestion to the owner that there's a way to do it without the rails. He said he considered it, but ultimately didn't like that it took the speed down a slight bit. Personally, I'm on the fence with the rails and the price. I'm thinking if snode just made their plates more compact with a steel design, they could have the ultimate winner
I have the fast series, the rails aren't an issue at all. I was worried about it initially
But shoot theres nothing like it
You want top of the line? Gotta pay top off the line prices. Might buy them on credit and pay it off while I have a 6 month promotion of 0% interest.
There is ironmaster.
@@MegaCosmoVisionI have the Ironmaster and love them for the traditional dumbbell feel. However I miss the quick weight switching. The Pepin seems like it ticks off all those boxes 😀
@@Boblen1989 not the price box is like $2200
@@MegaCosmoVision True 👍 it does look like a super premium product and since it’s made in Canada, the price is more justifiable 😊
Probably bc most people never lift more than 80 pounds. Only pretty serious lifters are lifting 100-120 pound dumbbells.
Just got 120 lbs set best build ones I've seen
Also nice to see coop complain about having something shipped across the border his way for once 😂🇨🇦🇨🇦
Coop,
I would really like to see you review some equipment designed for handicap/ wheelchair lifters.
This is fantastic when setting your pinky side heavier to allow your short head bicep muscle to exert more work to suppinate vs a perfectly balanced normal dumbbell which pivots with no resistance.
i love my plate loaded pepin adjustable dumbbell handles. they will last me a lifetime. i found out about them here, thank you for the reviews.
These are the first adjustable dumbbells I actually desire. When I buy my new house and plan my gym room I shall consider these in the decision if space is limited. This far in my current home I have a set of hex dumbbells that fit, just.
I'm gonna have to go buy these dumbbells now.
I'm sold its gonna be my next big gym purchase
Quick correction, the price in $ USD for the 240lbs fast series is $ 2067 including shipping to the U.S
If it was 1200$ then definitely I would buy it. Otherwise it is too expensive and too overpriced
I love the dumbbells but I hate the price! I get the feeling they will loose customers because they are to expensive.
Bought a set of 75lb Ironmasters this year, very happy with them so far. Might consider something faster to change later on.Thanks for the review!
I love both the ironmasters and pepins. I had my IM's first but since i got pepins, i mainly use the Ironmasters for 5-20lb work with change plates to make small jumps.
@@JBS7551 I have the IMs and change plates too, love I can do any weight in 0.25lb increments.
Love my Iron Masters! I don't mind the time it takes to change weights. Doesn't really take any longer than loading a barbell.
@@myyrkezaan Same here. It's a great perk
120lbs?? These might be the Holy Grail of adjustable dumbbells. I know what I want for my birthday!
They are fantastic
@2:04 [raises hand]
@2:08 [slowly puts hand back down]
Absolutely love these adjustable dumbells and the design and quality are top notch but for your average home gym guy like myself it’s not very affordable! Great
Review as always!
Glad I ordered before your review. There’s already a 9-14 week wait
the initial investment is worth the long term value...lifetime guarantee....almost like snap-on tools...buy once, cry once....this is just past my prime by 25 yrs...but if i was 25 again, I would be all over these
Been waiting on the in depth review. Now time to budget for these.
I bought a set of the 80 lb. Pepin dumbbells a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely love them! Very high quality build.
Awesome review Coop! These check all my boxes. I currently have Iron Masters but will be looking to upgrade to these eventually. I'm happy to pay a premium price for a premium product.
I have both the ironmasters and Pepins, love them both but mainly use the pepins now and IM for lighter movements
Thank you for checking off these and snode! Appreciate it coop!
Man that price is three years of gym membership for me :/ hard to justify. Shame because they seem amazing.
Looks good, but to be honest, but only for advanced lifters. Bought NUOBELLs recently and starting weight 2kg and 2kg increment is a love. It gives me more results now but probably in 2 years, I will consider something like PEPIN.
They look amazing! …though as of today (12/9/23) for the 120lb set they are $2,637.00 +tax=$3,000! They look great…..but not that great.
207/500 here:)
A removable spacer could also be used to make one tray work. Kind of like Rep Fitness does with the sectorized stacks.
@@jugjivan that is awesome. My nuobells just came yesterday. If all else fails maybe I’ll get these someday
I wish they shipped to Latvia... I'd sell my left ball for a set of these! They look sick!
I use Hoist, having bought both the 45lb and 75lb sets. They have lasted decades, and have served most of my needs over the years. That said, I have recently enjoyed your reviews.
Been waiting for this review so bad! As a power lifter i was so curious
Love the look and functionality of these. Definitely will be my next purchase when I outgrow my current PowerBlocks
Once they get the price down i would be interested. Being half the price of tonal is a bit bad. Would rather just save for tonal then.
Had me sold till I saw price... $2k for their cheapest pair is wild. To think you can afford a whole vehicle for that price is crazy. Looks like great equipment and well done review, but even if I did get my hands on these, $166 for a 2.5lbs add on plate is beyond me 😂
The price he listed is for the 60lb set. The 120lbers are 2600!
That’s Canadian pricing, about $2k US dollars
Have you seen the Trulap adjustable dumbbells. Would love to see the reviewed on this channel. Looks like a top notch item.
For less than 2k that's a really awesome price for this product. It replaces a solid 8k of dumbells
I love my 90lb power blocks, but if I was to ever upgrade. This would be my choice. I bought the power blocks at the height of the pandemic for $1500 like new.
Best purchase I’ve made for my gym in a long time! I’ve owned all the other big names and these blow the rest away!
They really are special. - Coop
they better do for 3400 Can$ incl shipping.
I have the 1,300 commercial power Blocks that go up to 52 pounds and don’t allow you to expand. It has knurl though. I’m thinking of selling it after the next iteration of the Peppin becomes available.
Love the dumbells although for the price i would expect the weight to be on within .5 lbs not 1 to 2 pounds .
Buy once cry once. The cheaper ones don’t seem to last all that long with regular use I’m told.
so can I drop them like normal dumbbells?
they are more compact than than powerblocks?
Please work something out with elite FTS so start reviewing some of that stuff 🙏
Bit of a misrepresentation of the price. Showed the price in Canadian dollars (CAD) and compared it to products in USD. Not sure everyone would notice it was in CAD. Take about 30% off for USD.
Love mine. No downsides at all if you have the budget. I actually prefer them to the real bells I used to use at my gym 😅

100% agreed
@@JBS7551 also I have a review posted on my channel, not as good as coops and you see my feet in it but good for another perspective
Thanks for your support and your feedback Dylan !!
@@FitnessNews24 Ill check it!
@@dumbbellpepinis total fitness usa in HI a retail seller of these? I believe they will offer them in the summer of 2023? Thanks
And Ironmasters are what, half the prices of Pepin?
@@maxmeier532 Yes, they are less, but that wasn’t the point. The point is I already own them. Selling would result in adding a lot of money to get Pepin.
This guy isn't a reviewer...he's a salesman.
Man $2000 is a tough pill to swallow compared to all the similar adjustable dumbbells. Love me some Pepins though as I have loved the regular ones I bought two years ago. The knurled handle is amazing
Coop told us how to adjust them: “with deez nuts” 🤣
It was towards the end but I heard it lol
He showed Canadian dollars in the video. It's $1960 American. Still extremely expensive, but a little better
Expensive sure but you have to consider what you’re getting and the quality behind the product.
They look great most price is crazy. I will stick with the Ironmaster.
A pair of Powerblocks almost broke and fell on my head, so never using those again.
If the price is lowered to 1200$ for a pair of 120 lbs, then I would buy it without any questions asked. Now it is at least 800$ extra.
I would love to do so, however that doesn't even cover the actual cost to produce these beast ;)
People want their cake and eat it too
You getting the Reppin ones?
Bought used 90lb powerblocks with stand for $400. I'm happy with that vs $1800 for 120lb dumbbells lol
I suppose just building your grip is out of the question?
Coop you should talk about their stand for the dumbbells. That’s an important part to these reviews as someone who owns nuobells. Looks like the Pepin stand is questionable 🤔.
24:50 that idea also works thematically with the whole sliding adjustment system. Great suggestion!
They are so ahead of the curve. They are working on the adjustable Barbell already.😂
I like having one side heavier for wrist turning bicep work.
Again appreciate your evaluation these are out of my league but if money was no object I would appreciate the craftsmanship and they will be in my garage also
Man, those are nice....
I wish I could afford them. Great review
Great review as always. These look awesome!
Ill get these when my nuobells break
As long as you have a flat surface these should be able to be adjusted correct? Looks like they have flattish sides. I just use a couple blocks of wood currently for our powerblocks. I don't see the cradles on the site anywhere (only the stands now).
Isn’t C$2,145 around $1600 in USD? Or did I read that wrong. Thanks for the review!
Yeah, you are right
You are correct, he showed the Canadian pricing in the video
I know, I first look at it and damn.... Sorry, not paying that price despite looking cool. $600 would be my max investment on such a thing.
I would love to have that weight, but I would have to sell my nüobells then some plasma and skip some meals and then maybe I can pay for the shipping.
Pin this comment. Huge difference. Irwin Fitness and other Canadian companies are mistaken for being expensive when the currency was not converted.
3:20 naaaa, if you buy the heavy handle kit from Ironmasters, you can put 2 on one handle. THAT wins the "MOST compact" adjustable dumbbell out there.
At 9:03 you're holding the asymmetrical dumbbell with the heavier side of the dumbbell by the weaker side of your hand, while relating that you don't like how it feels. Try holding it with the heavier side of the DB by the stronger side of your hand. To me this feels good, not bad.
thats how i do it too!
