    I couldn't tell you why, but my pit bull takes his pill with no fuss, and lets me brush his teeth with a real toothbrush without a minute's protest. Completely unexpected.

      Luckyyy I always wanted a pit bull but my mom said no but I do have a Yorkie who is 17 yrs and I just got a Blue Heeler puppy so he’s 3 months old but brushing his teeth went surprisingly well

      @@that1girl474 Your mom was just trying to protect you, but the truth is that pit bulls are sweet by nature. Raised in a loving home, they are no danger to anyone.

      @@that1girl474 The only way is to get her to a rescue or shelter and interact with a pit bull.
      The pit bull will be all wiggly and licking her like in those videos.

    Finger toothbrush I recommend: amzn.to/3pf22Qc
    Toothpaste from Nylabone: amzn.to/30DhrQ1 (original)
    amzn.to/3vBttVD (peanut flavored)

    • @subyouwont

      Why did you recommend a different brush?

  • @gila815

    my pom likes the toothpaste flavor and tolerated the toothbrush if I'm not holding his head, but he purses his lips and won't relax his mouth enough for me to properly see what I'm brushing... I'll keep trying nightly!

    My Bella is 10 months old I’ve had her since she was 10 weeks old and she is still fighting me during brushing. I to use a finger brush because she’s not ready to move on to a toothbrush.

    • @ArgosDogTraining
      @ArgosDogTraining  2 года назад +1

      Just a little better than last time. I mean if she fights a little less this time than she did last time you are on the right path.

    My yorkie tries to run away when I bring the toothpaste near him 😓

    • @ArgosDogTraining

      Don't let the puppy do that. When the puppy is in the crate, hide the toothpaste under a pillow. Get the puppy from the crate and put them on a leash. Play with the puppy near the pillow. While holdings the leash calmly pull the toothpaste from under the pillow.
