-Use elite facet and shield 4 to give yourself protection, so they deal less.
-Keep the regen constantly up on yourself (herald has improved regen).
-You can use shield 4 nowadays to block the mind crush as well, since now it gives aegis. However, it can be taken away by hands or prides, so use only in emergency situations.
-If you block mindrush, it will deal heavy damage for few seconds. That's why facet of light is actually the best skill to block it. Well timed use will heal you also for the duration of that damage and cooldown lines up perfectly with mind crush timing.

I was wondering myself if they did strike or condi damage, and whether protection or resolution should be applied. Thanks for clearing it up!
