I'm trying to get into hand kite so I'm currently looking for guides. I don't think the longbow is worth it, you do next to no damage with it. A great sword on the other hand has some more defense. Or possibly an off-hand axe to protect from tears.
@@Sumospider The CC part is a good argument esp. when it comes to Saul's phases so I will give you that. Guess it comes down to what the hand kiter is comfortable with. Haven't tried it myself yet so I can't tell.

Hello, you have a lot of regen in the "nature magic" trait line, e.g., from using a warhorn, or a beast skill. Protection comes mostly from dodge rolling, you get that using the "Wilderness survival" trait line. Finally Moa Stance also gives some of both.
Not a bug, the druid got the green circle and there was no backup stayig up (so the tank was on his own) making the handkiter the closest non-tank player.

I think its pretty safe even without greatsword, but up to you ofc. With longbow one can help also with cc a bit, I prefer that weapon

There is no buff counter, you have to count them as they spawn, its about 1 per second
