Seeing Harbor Freight tools on your job site does not surprise me. I am in my mid-sixties. It took me a long time to accept the higher end Vulcan & Bauer tools. I never thought that Miller or Milwaukee would have to fear competition from Harbor Freight. When as a contractor I saw most of my fellow tradespeople buying Harbor Freight concrete vibrators I realized that we would soon be considering them as a provider for every tool in our job box. Keep up the good work, your build is great. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

Hi guys, just finished watching all your video's. The work youve done from start to now is unreal considering you both have now building experience. I love videos like these, watched loads of tiny house, container conversion, extension vid's like these but really enjoyed your vid's the most. Watching all the detail you put into doing this work along with making the vid's is unreal, what a great idea to record and document your journey for all your family and friends and for your kids in the future. Cant wait to see the finished look and remember to make bear a lovely bedroom for himself after all the help he's given you guys 🤣👍

Great work guys! I just want to point out a tip when you are MIG welding a joint (in this case square tubing) bevel grind your "stock wall" 3/4 the wall thickness at a 45 degree, this way when you butt your joint together, you will have a 3/4 V channel, which will provide you with a mucho better penetration weld. I say this because, steel does expand and contract and because you didn't bevel your edge, you are risking the door jam frame cracking within a year vs. a lifetime. Other than that, you guys rock and keep it up!

  • @misterm3007

After watching multiple videos about Tiny House builds, you should be using angle iron instead of boxed tubing, it allows for more surfaces for caulking, wielding to the structure and it prevents the water/wind from entering the house.

The 5 things I like about your build.
    #5. You location
#4. You are repurposing a shipping container. That more than likely would have never been used again .
#3 If connected to the foundation supports properly should never have a settling issue . And if it does just add a shin.
#2. I like how you added a center section as this was a first that I have seen
#1. This is my favorite part of your build.
    You working together.
I’m retired and after working with many young kids . I thought we were All doomed.
You restored my faith in the younger generation.
I may not agree how you do something. However you are the ones doing it. That deserves a hand shake.

Just a tiny bit of advise, always buy non-ethanol gas for any small engine, and when you store it, drain the fuel out of the carburetor. This will cause less problems down the road. Ethanol fuel will plug all of the tiny jets and passageways of a carburetor. Also there is stuff called Sta-bil to treat the fuel for storage. I love your vids!!!

What I learned fast is a 1320 sq ft. Cont home is make the master bedroom w/ an en-suite both being extra large and away from the most used rooms of the dwelling.
Our spare is opposite end of (L) shape with Greatroom, Kitchen and Dining all next to each other in an open floor plan.
Convenient and with barn style sliding doors and some witty design configurations we were able to save a ton of space.
Really really configure your plans interiors incorporating space saving techniques.
