In this episode, we finish plumbing the pump house and start working on running solar power into our home. This is a huge step for us and we are so excited to get to share it with all of you!
I am so jealous of you two. You two remind me so much of what my late husband and I had together. We were together for 44 years before he paused away. We worked, played together and loved each other very much. Love watching your videos. God Bless you both and baby. Blessed Be and God Speed you both safely into the future.

It’s a good practice to always run a pull string through conduits. You never know when you might need to pull another set of conductors and it’s much easier than fishing once again.
I almost always drop an extra conduit in a ditch and I always but spare wire in a conduit for later use.
A fish tape makes pretty easy pulling wire. There's a 240' Ideal brand for $60 or so
Bear is such a good friend, he tries to protect u and the baby, also he helps all the time!

Nice work guys, um, when you run electrical wire the general practice is to place the roll on a spindle so that it rolls off without creating twists in the wire. It makes the job much easier. Have fun.

I think Spencer has the patients of a Saint and the mind of an engineer. How he got that wire snake fixed is beyond me. Love what you guys are doing.
I had to do the same thing to mine, just a little surface rust will keep that wire from moving inside the holder. Wiped it off good and put some light oil on it and it works great.

I was thinking similar.Insulate the door,but have slide out floor and roof,The screen would roll down and connect to floor and doors.
or at least move that wall 18-24 inches inside so you have a cool "outside storage shed", or a mechanical room for any power installation, etc., accessible from the outside by opening the container doors, plus that extra air space would act as added insulation

You three remind me of my dear wife and I back in the mid-1980's. We built our Log Home here in the Black Hills of South Dakota... during 9 months of which "we" were pregnant with #3 son too! It was lots of blood, sweat, and tears... but worth it all. The process was as important as the product!! We not only built a home, we also built on our relationship that has now lasted 43 years on 12/30. Yes, we had a big Lab too who owned the place! So... GoGoGoGuys. It's way worth it!!!
At the end I was smiling so hard I said "I love those guys!" You are such great people! :D

1. I know it's been said in another video long ago, but what did Spenser do for a living before you guys started on this build? Its wonderful to see both of you working together to accomplish your dreams...and alot of the building is a first for both of you!!
2. What breed is Bear? He seems the type of dog I'm looking for.

Good way to run wires through conduit is to get a long length of light string with a small plastic bag on the end and vacuum it throught the pipe from one end and tie off your cables to the other once the string is through the pipe
Always unspool romex dont pull it out of the sitting spool.
I have never seen any one "dig a ditch" with a power auger, but it you have hard packed clay soil it is a great way to loosen it up !

I am Brazilian, I have already died in Utah and Seattle, I was able to have the privilege of doing civil construction, I love the way things are done out there.
Another thing I love to see is happiness, joy, her high spirits are contagious, I have a lot of fun.

So exciting! I bet you can't wait for power to be in the container officially. This was so fun to watch, Bear is such a protector and that's adorable, and him digging in the trench and then napping was just cute. I'm glad that he doesn't try to chase the coyotes, or go all crazy when he can see and hear them, or does he? Getting excited as each step gets completed and you get a little closer.

Fish tape lol! I have had to do that many times over the course of my electrical career. Had to fix three of the last year on the same job site, because no one takes care of them. It was a good laugh to me.
Someone borrowed my 50' fish tape and returned in half a dozen pieces!!! Did not remember who it was III

My air nailer has the contact trigger on it. That way you bump the nailer against the wood and the inertia of the nailer hitting the wood keeps the nail from staying proud.
I hope you know the coyotes are trying to call Bear out into the woods to play. Please keep him safe inside at night!
