Thanks for watching! Did you find these steps to naturalization / citizenship helpful?
Hello Maneesha just want to clarify, I'm already 4 years here in the US and I just got my 10yr green card this month, can I apply for naturalization already?
Might you have a break down of each and in other languages would be great.
@@jhay-ara6752 I dont think so. Like she said. You have to be a permanent resident for at least 3 yrs if you married a US citizen, if you got your green card through employment or other way then it is 5 yrs. Hope this helps.
This is so clearly laid out; thanks for the excellent tips! Looking forward to more videos.

Thankyou.
Interesting stuff! Random question: how long have you been in the U.S.?
Thank you for doing this video. I got a quick question. In the case N-400 is denied what will happen to PR status?
TY
I have this wondering, if you serve for a military branch, do you get your citizenship early? I read somewhere that you can get your citizenship after 1 year of serving in peace time, and 180 days in hostility time
Great video..i got a question? can you apply for naturalization after 3 years if you acquired your green card through family immigration and then got married to a U.S Citizen ?
N-400 form now has the ability to forward status to SSA saving you a trip to the SSA office or having to mail that in.
Thank you for all the information
I have Gc with F4 category. My question is, I'm holding GC from march 2016.....
In march 2022. It will be 3.2 years of "continuous stay" in USA out of 5 yrs (2018 December onwards)
Will I be eligible for naturalization ? Fullfelling all other criteria. Only doubt with "continuous stay"
Appreciate your input.
My greencard is expiring next year, Do i need to renew it & apply for citizenship?
Can you chose where you take the oath?
Quick question
What if my address change/different state after submitting application? Before getting any Biometric dates ?
Hello maneesha
I have few questions regarding citizenship. Could you please tell me how to schedule a consultation with you.
in some cases You won't be denied and won't approved at the same time, You gonna receive a Request For Evidence (RFE) form to prove anything that is missing in Your case and that evidence can't be obtained by uscis but you.
What if you didn’t file because you made under 10k and IRS didn’t require you to file? Will you still get denied citizenship for not filing?
Did you do n400 video yet?
If your GC about to expire, can you still apply?

Hi, This is a good video, but in first video, I watch you mentioned there is direct method of applying for citizenship, what are those steps? how and where I can find this?
You have to get a green card first. You cannot skip over the green card and go straight to citizenship. Once you have a green card, you can live and work permanently in the U.S. and after 5 years (or 3 sometimes) you can apply for citizenship. Does this answer your question or did I misunderstand it?
N400 please 🙏🏻
What about tax docs? I heard we should last 3 years
Hi Maneesha
I am currently a Greencard holder
In 1991 I got arrested and charged with
Residential burglary. Since then I always maintained a job. I am much older now

I applied for citizenship in June 2020 but I did not get finger printing letter yet. While my USCIS status showing November 2020 estimated completion time. Please advise.
you should wait. you'll be notified with an email for the biometrics interview.
Please help me.
N400 plz
Can I travel with green card if I have applied for naturalisation N-400 !?
Yes you can, the only time you should be a little careful about travel is after your naturalization interview and right before your oath ceremony. The oath ceremony usually happens weeks after the interview so best to be around (but right now it's a little different because of covid). Not sure when you applied for naturalization but I didn't even have my interview until about a year after I applied (but this depends on the city you live in).

I came here in 1954 and now I want citizenship I am 69 ,I came here at 2 years of age.
My Parent is a US Citizen (Naturalized)! I moved to live with my parent at 16 and received my passport that same year. I’m now 20 and need to be naturalized! What are the steps? I already have the passport but no certification.PLEASE HELP.
If you hold a U.S. passport then you are already a U.S. citizen. That means you were naturalized at some point? What citizenship did you hold before? Are you sure your parents dont have your naturalization certificate somewhere? If it's lost you can apply for a replacement but it costs $$ which if you have somewhere, maybe can be avoided?
Are you sure you received a passport or was it a green card? (when you moved at 16)
Can you help fill out the application?
I would recommend reaching out to an immigration lawyer if you need help with the application. Good luck!
All of your respect you are very beautiful
