      @@sharminecampbellbrown3679 Yes he can sponsor his sibling but it takes a very long time to sponsor a sibling (it can take 10+ years). It might be faster for you to get your green card through your son and then you can sponsor your 12 yr old son as a green card holder. I would ask an attorney but I think that way might be faster (it would still take years )

    Hello. Thanks for the video. I have a few questions for you and need guidance. So I have applied for my mom and just received the NVC welcome email. My question is that since there’s a immigration ban in place at least until March 31, 2021 and probably the next administration will extend it, how is it possible to apply for a Visa? Will a Visa be issued by any embassy at this time? Also it is very difficult to travel due to the pandemic. My mom is in Iran and as you know, there is not a US Embassy in Iran and she has to go to Abu Dhabi in Emirates. There’s also travel visas to Emirates for Iranians at this time and a travel halt in place. Could you please advise how to move forward with the application. Should I wait to see what happens with the Immigration ban?

Will it affect the citizenship of the child? Now the child is over 21 years old and more than capable of petitioning the other parent (Father) who is not a US citizen. Will she have an Issue?

      Adjustment of status is the preferred method for most immigrants. It is less complicated. You will submit all of the forms and documents to immigration once at the start of the process, making it easier to organize your filing. It also allows your parents to stay in the United States while their petition is processing.

    • @maneeshamukhi
      @maneeshamukhi  3 года назад +4

      Glad it was helpful! Yes, I'll be making videos for other family members soon. With siblings, the wait is very long if they are currently outside the U.S. It can take 10+ years to sponsor a sibling...but if you sponsor a parent and they (or one of them) get their green card, then they can sponsor an adult child if he/she is unmarried. That might be faster (depends on what country your sibling is born in)

    my question is this if i don't do any work then i can apply for my parents (i and my kids live with my hasband)also they also have B1 ,B2 visa and they visited here befor.what should the next step?

    • @yya6264
      @yya6264 3 года назад

      This green card process is another different one vs the B1/B2 visa. My people who have B1/B2 never returned home. They overstayed their visa but will find a US citizen to married. Same with those on work visa. It is why US is not easy on work visa. Work visa is easier approval for Canada France Australia etc.

    Hi, I do not make enough money the year I filled the application for my parents. During the interview in my country they told my parents that I need an extra sponsor. But what will be the responsibility of a sponsor . I do not have family in the US , so I need to ask to a friend and I would like to explain what a sponsor do and the rules o law work in this case. Thank you.

      Can an overseas U.S. citizen sponsor family members for U.S. green cards (U.S. lawful permanent residence) allowing them all to move to the U.S., together or apart? It's possible, but it won't be straightforward.

    Hey, I am thinking of sponsoring my parents when I am able to, meanwhile do you think It‘d be a good Idea to go to Mexico since I know the the penalty would be x amount of years?

    • @yya6264
      @yya6264 3 года назад +1

      You need to read up on Mexico about visiting, permanent residency, etc. I ain’t going to lied to you green card for your parents is expensive. There is a lot of fees and different forms. Cost just keep going up.

    Great video!
    Question, what if my parent is outside the U.S and already has am up to date tourist visa? Does she still have to go through all the U.S embassy and USCIS doctor process?

    • @yya6264
      @yya6264 3 года назад

      Yes because tourism or visitor visa is different from this green card process. You need to apply and paid fees. This green card they get is permanent to live, work, etc. in the US. If you have parents or siblings and can show proof about relationship then it is a good thing to do if they really want to come lived in the US. They auto get a green card can start looking for job.
