I got approval for I -485 today while I-130 is shown as actively processing. Yesterday I recd approval for I- 765 ( EAD ). Very happy that all gone well. Thank you for your videos which helped and encouraged me to apply on my own.
Kseniya, I filed form I-130 on line about 18 months ago and it hasn’t been approved. I did receive a request for additional documents and already submitted it. I also mailed a packet to USCIS with forms 485, 765, 864 and 693 in May 2023. The check for 1,140 was cashed by DHS on July 24,2023. I didn’t receive any receipt for these documents and have not heard anything from USCIS about receiving them. I’m absolutely freaking out now. Could these been lost? What should I do? Is form 130 online connected to the rest of the forms? Thank you
My mom is a house wife so on the form where it asked for employment do I put House wife & her home address, & my dad is self employed a commuter driver , so on his form do I put also Self Employed Driver & their home address… both my parents reside at the say address NOT US BASE …& My other question is my parents are Legally married but after my 18th birthday… So Am I suppose to choose the option that says marry after my 18th birthday.. I will send them a copy a my parents Marriage certificate & my self n sibling birth certificate too?? Plz help?!! For the Form I-130 !??
Please what if your parents were never married in Court but they have been living with 5 biological children. How will the form be filled in case of Marraige and filling beneficiaries spouse and family.

As I was going through ur videos I found I didn’t put my decease father information and for mother we put widowed and didn’t put prior spouse information there on form I-130 which I already file online . in this situation what I have to do . I was ready to file I -485 for adjust status and found your videos and information. Can you please help me if you know what we can do now . Like I said I already file the form . Thank you

Can I still change it while my case is still pending or should I wait till my green card is approved? Also, if I change it while my case is pending, will it affect or slow down my case? Hi Ksenya! I am so happy I found your channel! I was about to make a BIG mistake and you literally saved me! My father is in the US currently with a tourist visa. I wanted to submit both I-130 & I-485 at the same time. However, he flies back to Moldova in 2 moths. If I understood you correctly, in our situation it is best to submit I-130 only, wait until it is approved, then have my father fly back to US permanently and submit I-485 after? Thank you!
If your dad is going to continue his green card process overseas he will not be able to file I-485 adjustment of status as it is only for applicants who are currently in the states. You would only file I-130 at this time

Will there be a problem if the beneficiary (us the parent) will fill up the I-130 form online instead of our daughter the petitioner?
