I have very rough situation today but thank God I passed and everything went well. The officer was rough AF... not be rude but I was probably that 0.01% of people never talk about but during all the interview was hard because he was rough, not very polite and ask for documents it wasn't really on the application so people just be prepare to anything at your interview and always try to be polite no matter what. Show them that you are not afraid.
@jonnywick4402 Thanks for sharing your naturalization experience with us, and for giving some useful tips to other aspiring applicants! 👍

@harrietreeves4129 That's wonderful news! 👏 Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉 Have you had your oath?
Congratulations
Lol this was literally me 3 days ago during my interview. I forgot my old passport, and the officer told me that I should have brought it to verify my identity, but also told me to not worry about it when I said I was sorry I didn't know. On the question about being arrested/detained/cited, I said "No, but Officer..." He said "You got a speeding ticket?" I said yes, let me explain. But Officer said "don't worry about it, as long as it was paid". I had put in NO in the form as my answer because I didn't think about that speeding ticket as part of the context in that particular question. So basically just be truthful, since USCIS have already ran FBI background checks on you as soon as you submitted your application. I passed the interview, took about 20mins only. He did ask me about the Oath of Allegiance part in the video too and I gave basically the same answer.
Can you share a few more details about the interview
@Izabelle835 Thank you so much for sharing your interview experience with us! By doing so, you are helping so many immigrant applicants learn from your experience as well as with the tips you shared. As this channel is dedicated to do the same, we truly appreciate it! Have a great day!❤️
I set up in the Form-N-400 NO! I had two tickets, I went straight and did not see the sign on the road that I had to make a right and a ticket of camera Red Light! I already send the application.....

Thank you so much! I have a Canadian citizenship interview soon, and the process is almost identical to the US interview, except we complete our knowledge test online in advance. I can barely find videos on the Canadian interview so this was very helpful :)
Yes @AaronMetallion, the process is similar! Glad this video is very helpful for your Canadian citizenship, too! Good luck!👍
For the elderly, who have hearing problems due to our age, more important than the listening answer to the question, is the question itself. This is because when we read the question we know what the answer is but, we have a hard time trying to listening and understand the question that are asked to us. For this reason, I suggest a video in which the question is repeated several times to accustom the ear. Thank you.
@Javier66ize Hi and thanks for your comment! We have noted your suggestion and hopefully we can publish such video soon! We would be very glad to help the elderly applicants and also those who have hearing problems.❤️ For the meantime, you might want to watch this interview for the senior citizens: ruclips.net/video/J7O5W2bfdz8/видео.html

Hi, I have a question…
If I have had some police tickets and in my interview the officer ask me this question:
Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including any immigration official or any official of the U.S. armed forces) for any reason?
What should I respond ???
YES OR NO
A friend of mine who regularly fills out the N-400 told that the traffic tickets are not included on that question.
I already submitted my application and I said: NO, but I’m not sure about my answer.
What is your opinion on this ???
@ELPASTORAPOSTOLICO Most minor traffic citations (such as parking violations) won't affect applications for citizenship. However, there are tickets that are more serious than others. Since getting a ticket for traffic violation (such as speeding) is an offense, it should be included in the form N-400. Question 23 asks if you have ever been arrested or "cited" for "any reason." In our opinion, it's always best to tell about it "truthfully." USCIS will decide whether your ticket is serious enough to affect your application, or not. If you are worried that these traffic tickets will seriously affect your application for citizenship, then you should consult an immigration attorney about your situation.
I like it, these practice is very good, today I learned new things! Thank you so much!!🤗 My English is not yet good.
@MariaDiaz-nv7ze Glad to hear that! You are welcome. Your English is great, no worries. If you need to learn more, you can check this out 👉ruclips.net/p/PL_KP3Xwlay7ItVtVdLTSK-OevKOA0ekkl
At 01:23 the "state-issued ID" the man asks for is NOT shown. A state-issued ID is either a driver's license, or a state-issued ID that you can get at the drivers license bureau if you don't drive a car. ( I haven't watched the rest of the video, so there might be something else.)
🎉Thank you very much for your help, I passed the exams and I send my love. I hope we can meet somewhere one day and have a coffee. love again❤

My dear sister, God's full peace be with you. My dear sister, please help me. I am a very troubled person.

You're welcome! When is your interview?
I just submitted my application and now waiting for the interview appointment. I'm super nervous about it. I already started studying the civics questions and think I can handle all the small talk and English test easily, but I had no idea that I need to explain certain words. Is there more information about this? I mean, it's part of the civics test to explain the constitution, but to explain what narcotics are? It's not that I don't know that they are, but was surprised that they asked it and I'm sure surprised and potentially blackout at the interview itself if they ask for other explanations.
@Wurst-case-ATX Hi! Citizenship interviews differ from one applicant to another therefore it is important to remember that USCIS officers may ask several questions to one applicant, or may only ask a few questions to another. In some cases, officers may need to ask about the meanings of some words from their Form N-400 during the interview to assess the applicant's understanding of their application and to ensure that they have accurately and truthfully completed the form. If you're familiar with the info you've provided and have full understanding of the terms used, then you have nothing to worry about. When is your interview?
@@uscitizenshipforimmigrants I'm waiting for the appointment. Just got the appointment for the biometrics at July 17. Hope it won't tale too long after the biometrics.
I like your video
Anyone here from Florida please let me how the interview 😢
I know of someone whose relative tried to get her illegally in the us in her teens. She is now 58 years old, has been denied repeatedly.
Can you say if she's not entitled to expungement after so many years?
Well that's a legal matter that should be asked to an immigration attorney who can interpret and provide proper legal advice on such issue.
Please make a special request very important
@user-fm8es4lo7e How may we help you?
How early do you advise for the applicants to arrive for their appointment? Thank you in advance.
@scinciong5693 Hi! Try to arrive at least 15 or 30 minutes early so you will have time to complete the check-in process. If you're not allowed to enter the USCIS building yet, at least arriving early will help calm your nerves and will also give you enough time to probably park your car somewhere. Just don't forget to bring all your important documents which you should prepare a day before your interview. Hope that helps! When is your interview?
@@uscitizenshipforimmigrants Hello and thank you very much for this advice. It is really helpful. I'll remember this and arrive 30 minutes before my appointment. My interview is on February 8. What is your opinion on this ???
@ELPASTORAPOSTOLICO Did you get a ticket "while driving"? Most minor traffic citations (such as parking violations) won't affect applications for citizenship. However, there are tickets that are more serious than others. Since getting a ticket for traffic violation (such as speeding) is an offense, it should be included in the form N-400. In 20 years living in USA I have had 4 tickets, one for failure a sign to turn and 3 tickets for speed but none in freeways so the speed wasn’t that high.
Do you think I should tell them I made a mistake filling out my application in the beginning of my interview ???
@ELPASTORAPOSTOLICO Yes, you should. They probably already know you had those records anyway since they do a background check on every applicant. If you paid all those tickets and still keep the receipts, we suggest you also take them with you on your interview day.

I’m in Florida, this interview is valide for Florida to?
@joanneprudent3298 Yes, this interview is valid in all states.
Please someone tell me what happens if u have been away from the USA from more then six months but less then a year for 2 years on green card. Will they approve your naturalization???
@adeenajunaid39 That seems more likely to cause an impact on your eligibility for naturalization as it disrupts the "continuous residence" requirement for naturalization.
Did every officer ask the same questions in the video?
It depends. Immigration officers may ask the same, or may ask different questions to every applicant.
Omg I think is a lot questions 🥺🥺
@angely7599 Yes, there are officers who may (or may not) ask a lot of questions. You'll never really know, that's why applicants should prepare well for it. Do you have an upcoming interview?
Hi,MY DAUGHTER US CITIZEN BY BIRTH AFTER MARRIAGE SHE IS LIVING WITH HUSBAND OUT SIDE USA &APPLIED FOR SPOUSE CASE ,MY QUESTION IF SHE IS LIVING OUT SIDE US FROM LAST 3Yrs ,she has to file tax in us in us....please reply.
@farasatali2646 As much as we know of, US citizens may still be subject to file taxes regardless of where they live. There are special tax rules for US citizens who work/live in other countries. Since we do not work in the field of taxation, we suggest that you should ask this to a tax consultant who can give you proper advice regarding your daughter's tax issue.
How many questions would they asked for the U.S. citizenship interview?
@user-jg7zb9xr9k Hi! A USCIS officer will ask 6 (up to 10) questions for the civics test. For the N-400, that will only depend on the interviewing officer.

Hello thank you very much! For this video very helpful! I want to tell that my English is not correct. I apologize for that, but I would like to make a question❓My passport expired in this month of February, it's possible to carry it like that? without problem? Or I will have to renew, to submit my future interview? I have some problems to renew my passport! I don't have identification from my country only I have my birthday certificate, but in the consulate asking to make some arrangements with a Lawyer for my birthday certificate! in my country, ¡Besides my consulate is far away from me. @leticiacanales8562 Have you "continuously lived" in the United States as a green card holder in the last five years?
