Hello Jackie, I took my interview today and passed. From start to finish, it took only 9 minutes. My interviewer started with the reading test, then the writing test, the civics test and the N-400 application review. He must have thought he asked me 6 civics questions but I counted 5 and it was over. Lol. The oath ceremony was right after. Everything took approximately an hour and boom, I became a US Citizen. Your videos were super helpful. I could here your voice in my ears when the questions were asked. Thanks for doing such a great job. A friend recommended your videos and I’m going to do same. You’re a blessing!
Passed my interview today and did the swear in ceremony! It was really a very simple process. It was literally only 10 minutes, and I wasn't even asked 6 questions! By the third question, the officer was convinced I knew all the answers and just stopped there! The three questions were: 1. Who vetos Bills - the president. 2. What is the longest river - Mississippi 3. What is the rule of law. - Everyone must follow the law. Seriously, guys, don't stress. Just converse with them because that's how it will determine what questions they'll ask. For N-400.. no definition questions.. just read through each question and signed and was done. Just bring all the documents u used when u submitted your application, and if u have speeding or any traffic ticket make sure u pay it and bring the receipts. If u don't pay ur traffic tickets, they will delay ur approval. Thank you so much, Jackie!! Your videos helped me a lot. Great work you guys are doing and keep it up!

Hello Jackie, thanks for your videos, I became a citizen yesterday in Newark NJ. One thing I'd like to tell is that the officer asked me if I pay my taxes because there was a $2500 outstanding balance from 2019. Well, I told him, I have my past 4y taxes with me here, I always pay my taxes in full and we even hire HR &Block to make sure we do all correctly and don't miss anything, every year. He ignored my comment, moved on with the interview. At the end when he asked if I had any questions I asked "Does it really show I have an outstanding balance?" And he mumbled, and said don't worry about it. I didn't understand anything...I guess that was a test to see how I reacted???? Then, my husband checked, we owe absolutely nothing. Weird. It was approved nonetheless, the interview took 8min total. I got my oath ceremony about an hour later. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Hi Jackie. I passed my citizenship test last week Monday!! Thank you so much for your time and dedication. The test was really easy and quick. The Oath was 45 minutes after the interview. God bless you, your family and your team.
@@Mono_212 it was somewhat the same. They asked me 6 questions. Asked me to read and write a sentences. They did not asked me any Definitions. They asked for my GC and my marriage certificate. They did not asked me all the 400 questionnaires.
I applied for my Green Card through marriage while I was still living in South Africa. I received my immigrant visa in my SA passport and I went to the U.S. to activate my Green Card. I only stayed in the US for a month before returning to SA. I then received my Green Card saying: *RESIDENT since March 15 2018 *But I only PHYSICALLY moved to the US to join my husband in March 2019. If I get the question: *When did you become a permanent resident? **Will the answer be the date on my Green Card: March 15 2018? And if I get THIS question: *when did you become a LAWFUL permanent resident? **Will the answer to this be March 2019? (The date I officially moved to the US). So confused re dates of when card was issued and when I actually moved to US permanently. is there a different in becoming a PERMANENT resident and a LAWFUL PERMANENT resident?

Thank you for putting out these wonderful videos. I passed my interview on Oct. 26, 2022 and watching your videos really prepared me for the interview. My appointment was in NJ and it was at 10am but I didn't get called until 11:30. The officer called my name and we went into her office and I took the oath before sitting down. And then it was civic questions followed by N-12 questions. Very rapid fire and it was over in 10 min. She didn't ask to see any documents. I was approved and had my oath ceremony done two hours later. Thank you Jackie.

I passed my interview today on 11/28/2022,It was short but the immigration officer was fast and i had to be focused,nothing to worry about,just remember you are under an oath so absolutely no lies,and memorize all the 100 civic questions/answers.
Hi Jackie. Thank you very much for your videos. I have tried few videos from other channels but decided to listen only yours because the answers you provided are simplest and consistent from one video to another. I am just back from my interview and oat ceremony. I am 66 and have difficulty to hear very well, so I had to ask to repeat the questions, the officer was quite annoyed. Interview was easy in the civic part ( thanks to you) then there were many questions why I spent so much time outside of the US (it was never more then 3 months and I met all the conditions). I guess I wasn’t very lucky with officer but I got my citizenship anyway and I am very happy about it. I highly recommend your channel for interview preparation.

I want to share how it all went for those who are nervous like I was haha. nothing to worry about. Study and prepare is the important thing. I submitted my application on April 11 2023 , my biometric fingerprints were on May 27. My interview for American citizenship this morning, July 19, 2023. The place is super clean and organized. Uscis Oakland Park City, Florida The entry officers are very friendly and polite. Everything happened super fast. My appointment was at 7:15. They called me at 7:30. Perhaps the interview lasted 15 minutes. The super polite and kind Officer Valencia led me to my interview room. while she explained to me that my interview was going to be done via zoom with another officer. She took the photo and the prints of my index fingers. My interview was With Officer Benitez, another beautiful young woman who was super friendly and polite. started with the civic questions 1-When is the day you can send in federal income tax. 2- Who is the Florida Governor now. 3-How many voting members are on the Supreme Court. 4-Name one branch or part of the Government. 5-Who is the speaker of the House right now. 6- Name 3 of the original states. After that reading. What country is north of the U. S. Writing Canada is north of the United States. After the test he asked me for my personal information. Name, social, work, telephone number, about the name of my children and their relationship with me, the name and date of birth of my husband, a few questions you should ever have and if I ever been cited I forget to mentioned in my application to which I answered yes because I had a traffic ticket, and I told her I had not put it in the application, she told me that it was not important and I continued with the pledge of the alliance if I was willing to. The officer told me to wait for Valencia that she was going to take me to the exit, which immediately brought me my letter for the US ceremony, which will be July 28.

Many congratulations. How long did it take for the interview to be scheduled from the time of the N-400 application. Also, were you asked for tax transcripts at time of interview or did you upload tax transcripts at time of N-400 application?
when i submitted my application on march it took me 7 months received the interview appointment and they scheduled me the interview to next month and the oath ceremony to the next week i had been passed my interview. i downloaded my tax transcripts, but they didn't ask me for it, i think they do that when you apply through marriage.

Passed my interview today and did the swear in ceremony! It was really a very simple process. It was literally only 10 minutes, and I wasn't even asked 6 questions! By the third question, the officer was convinced I knew all the answers and just stopped there! The three questions were:
1. Who vetos Bills - the president.
2. What is the longest river - Mississippi
3. What is the rule of law. - Everyone must follow the law.
Seriously, guys, don't stress. Just converse with them because that's how it will determine what questions they'll ask. For N-400.. no definition questions.. just read through each question and signed and was done. Just bring all the documents u used when u submitted your application, and if u have speeding or any traffic ticket make sure u pay it and bring the receipts. If u don't pay ur traffic tickets, they will delay ur approval.

Hello Jackie, thanks for your videos, I became a citizen yesterday in Newark NJ.
One thing I'd like to tell is that the officer asked me if I pay my taxes because there was a $2500 outstanding balance from 2019. Well, I told him, I have my past 4y taxes with me here, I always pay my taxes in full and we even hire HR &Block to make sure we do all correctly and don't miss anything, every year. He ignored my comment, moved on with the interview. At the end when he asked if I had any questions I asked "Does it really show I have an outstanding balance?" And he mumbled, and said don't worry about it. I didn't understand anything...I guess that was a test to see how I reacted???? Then, my husband checked, we owe absolutely nothing. Weird. It was approved nonetheless, the interview took 8min total. I got my oath ceremony about an hour later. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Hi Jackie. I passed my citizenship test last week Monday!! Thank you so much for your time and dedication. The test was really easy and quick. The Oath was 45 minutes after the interview. God bless you, your family and your team.
@@Mono_212 it was somewhat the same. They asked me 6 questions. Asked me to read and write a sentences. They did not asked me any Definitions. They asked for my GC and my marriage certificate. They did not asked me all the 400 questionnaires.
I applied for my Green Card through marriage while I was still living in South Africa.
I received my immigrant visa in my SA passport and I went to the U.S. to activate my Green Card. I only stayed in the US for a month before returning to SA.
I then received my Green Card saying:
*RESIDENT since March 15 2018
*But I only PHYSICALLY moved to the US to join my husband in March 2019.
If I get the question:
*When did you become a permanent resident?
**Will the answer be the date on my Green Card: March 15 2018?
And if I get THIS question:
*when did you become a LAWFUL permanent resident?
**Will the answer to this be March 2019? (The date I officially moved to the US).
So confused re dates of when card was issued and when I actually moved to US permanently.
is there a different in becoming a PERMANENT resident and a LAWFUL PERMANENT resident?

The officer was so nice he just asked me 6 civic test questions and then yes or no questions (no definitions ☺️) and approved my case he said an approval letter will be mailed to me and another letter after for the ceremony

Thank you for putting out these wonderful videos. I passed my interview on Oct. 26, 2022 and watching your videos really prepared me for the interview. My appointment was in NJ and it was at 10am but I didn't get called until 11:30. The officer called my name and we went into her office and I took the oath before sitting down. And then it was civic questions followed by N-12 questions. Very rapid fire and it was over in 10 min. She didn't ask to see any documents. I was approved and had my oath ceremony done two hours later. Thank you Jackie.

What book I need to buy for my test,for n400
I thought the test was just the 10 questions and the the reading and writing portion, but there's a lot more to it, I'm glad I watched this video a week before my test which is next Thursday.

I have tried few videos from other channels but decided to listen only yours because the answers you provided are simplest and consistent from one video to another. I am just back from my interview and oat ceremony. I am 66 and have difficulty to hear very well, so I had to ask to repeat the questions, the officer was quite annoyed. Interview was easy in the civic part ( thanks to you) then there were many questions why I spent so much time outside of the US (it was never more then 3 months and I met all the conditions). I guess I wasn’t very lucky with officer but I got my citizenship anyway and I am very happy about it. I highly recommend your channel for interview preparation.

I truly recommend your Chanel Thanks to you Jacky. I studied with you and all your videos . I passed my interview. I want to share how it all went for those who are nervous like I was haha. nothing to worry about. Study and prepare is the important thing. I submitted my application on April 11 2023 , my biometric fingerprints were on May 27. My interview for American citizenship this morning, July 19, 2023. The place is super clean and organized. Uscis Oakland Park City, Florida The entry officers are very friendly and polite. Everything happened super fast. My appointment was at 7:15. They called me at 7:30. Perhaps the interview lasted 15 minutes. The super polite and kind Officer Valencia led me to my interview room. while she explained to me that my interview was going to be done via zoom with another officer. She took the photo and the prints of my index fingers. My interview was With Officer Benitez, another beautiful young woman who was super friendly and polite. started with the civic questions 1-When is the day you can send in federal income tax.
2- Who is the Florida Governor now.
3-How many voting members are on the Supreme Court. 4-Name one branch or part of the Government.
5-Who is the speaker of the House right now.
6- Name 3 of the original states. After that reading. What country is north of the U. S.
Writing Canada is north of the United States. After the test he asked me for my personal information. Name, social, work, telephone number, about the name of my children and their relationship with me, the name and date of birth of my husband, a few questions you should ever have and if I ever been cited I forget to mentioned in my application to which I answered yes because I had a traffic ticket, and I told her I had not put it in the application, she told me that it was not important and I continued with the pledge of the alliance if I was willing to. The officer told me to wait for Valencia that she was going to take me to the exit, which immediately brought me my letter for the US ceremony, which will be July 28.
My interview was yesterday and it was perfect I passed thanks Jackie ♥️

Many congratulations. How long did it take for the interview to be scheduled from the time of the N-400 application. Also, were you asked for tax transcripts at time of interview or did you upload tax transcripts at time of N-400 application?
when i submitted my application on march it took me 7 months received the interview appointment and they scheduled me the interview to next month and the oath ceremony to the next week i had been passed my interview. i downloaded my tax transcripts, but they didn't ask me for it, i think they do that when you apply through marriage.

Officer didn't ask word definiton (N400) but many quesitons so I kept answering.

Hello I just don't know how to thank you for all of your help. I was able to pass my citizenship interview last month. I would really appreciate it if you could create some videos regarding the next responsibilities/steps after someone becomes a US citizen because the officer just handed me some forms but I honestly don't know where to start first. Thank you again for all of your help.
