I like the concept of the food tins with the canvas bag. David, I believe I bought a roll of bow string from you several years ago at the Whitetail deer festival in Rarden, Oh. I recall you taking the time to show me how to properly twist and weave the strands to form the bow string, or any cordage for that matter. Since then, I have shown my boys how to do the same thing with miscellaneous materials. Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks. The things you teach and share are much appreciated.

David Canterbury when will the woodman's pantry plus be available. I was not able to find it on the website.
11/28/17
I was not able to find the one you said was already on site
David Canterbury , I wish they sold your stuff at Walmart. I'm in there every damn day. I'd have all your stuff lol great channel!
Dave when are we going to see you doing more instructional cooking vids?
Dave stop coming out with more amazing kits that I have to buy...my woman's gonna kill me I already have two of your kits.
Nice I used the large bush pot and frying pan today. Cooked your wilderness stew and cook sausage for my breakfast while cooking the stew both worked great. I could not believe how long the stew stayed hot after I took it off the fire. Thanks Dave for all the good products.
I had the pleasure of going to your Indianapolis store over the summer your line of products is outstanding I haven't gotten to use everything but when the power goes out me and your kids have fun in the backyard thanks again Dave for your knowledge and expertise and for putting a boot in their asses to get us out there and explore the woods
love all your stuff - the highest quality gear
That chefs cook kit is mighty slick! It may be 4lbs 13oz but it's EVERYTHING you'll need. Folks need to remember that. That oven rack thing is icing on the cake.
Hi Dave love the quality of the gear you have, I’ve got the bottle kit and the canteen kit and it’s been everywhere and used for everything even stuff it’s not intended for and it’s saved my skin more then once. Seriously tempted with the bush pot especially with the baking tray....👍🏻😎
Badger Claw does some great work!
Love your products Dave. Always top quality.
OMG! Dave is turning into Martha Stewart... Just teasing in good fun. I appreciate what you do, Dave, and have been a long time watcher
Great concept. I'll have to get one when they come back in stock. Thank You.
The Man, the Myth, The Legend is back.
Hi Dave,
Been following you for many moons , since TV days and happy to see you doing well, with school and store . I made a rare trip to Indy gun show a couple weeks ago to meet up with Randy Smith and stopped by your store and ended picking up way more than I planned on :-) and got to meet Jamie Burleigh and happy to say, he is a real nice gentleman and youtube star . Everything I've bought over the years has been just as you have described, it to be.
A old Nam combat vet, who can't run the woods with a cane :-( nor walk it even. Still love a fire by the creek or river.
victor castle ..
Love this! Would be a great Christmas present for my dad
Thanks for the review. I’d love to have that set. I’ll check out your store. Thanks again for sharing!
Finally came back in stock, so ordered a chef kit the other day!! Can't wait to try it out!!
Thank you
Brilliant and well thought out as per usual my friend. Im liking both of those a lot actually
I just received the cook kit, looks to be of good quality and I will enjoy trying it it.
You are the best Dave,
Getting that pantry, looks perfect for my pack.... thanks!!
Been waiting for this since your video PF cook systems from January! Hope to order soon!
Good quality stainless, had some stuff from you guys and it's great 👍🏻
Good Intell . Well done again ! Well worth to watch your videos .Really great that you share your knowledge .Thank you kindly for being you .All the best Howie Jones FFP
Interesting that you use a stick ruler as oppose to a tape measure as I do at times. Thanks for the share and much success on your new products .
You never stop innovating Dave I like that a lot ! when you get a grate for the big bush pot I'll be groaning till i get one. :)
Wow! Nice kits, and they're exactly what I've been looking for. I just noticed that you put the price in the description (I thought you forgot about it at first). I think it's great value for the price. I just wish I had the price just now.
Hey Dave, both sets look good and well put together and i hope to obtain them soon. Off topic, I love the oilskin Haversack I bought from you all. I have been using it for my scouting PSK to carry my 5 C's survival kit, ammo and leave my backpack at base camp. It is 3 pounds lighter than my buckskin haversack and 1.5 Lb lighter than my old USMC messenger bag. Originally i wanted to buy your pathfinder 5 C's haversack kit but it has had been sold out the last few months. I am happy to have gotten the 12x14 oil skin pathfinder Haversack bag from you all it's Awesome and saves weight without sacrificing strength and reliability in the bag. Also thanks for the quick shipping. I already own loads of all the other quality gear. As always good info and quality products from great people! Keep up the great work and Simper Fi brother.
Your system rocks man.
Do we get a free shamwow?
Dave, you might be growing a pot belly!...over the years, I have bought most of that stuff except the small tins in the cup! I will look on your site...The small tins are a great addition!
Great looking gear...in form and function.
Tim Cole k
I don't get how people think your stuff is over priced? It's all very well built and has served me well so far
Some folks would complain if it was free brother, Compared to many things on the market they are less so I dont worry about it, I just offer a quality product that we guarantee for life at a fair price and ignore folks that dont get that-
Great looking products!
looks like a good weekend kit for hiking to a campsite, staying there, then hiking back to car.
Very nice kits. Both of them
I never heard you mention the price. Usually question number 1. Great video. Keep up the great videos and products.
Dang you are right!!! Somehow must have edited that out I will place it in the Description Box
Plus they're on sale now and until the end of December at 15% off!
I love the idea!
awesome set
Dang I wish I could afford it gonna start saving the combo of those sets would be dandy very well thought out
Cool stuff Dave, but I'm full up on cooking gear, thanks, if I can loose mine I'll be sure to look you up.
4lb 13oz divided by 2 (for the 2 person service) ends up being really 2lb 6.5oz relatively speaking. Translation: A typical "per person" weight for compatible cookware. Great stuff. Reminds me of those vintage stacked cook kits we got (big pot, smaller pot, coffee pot, pan with removable handle, plates, utensils, etc...) of that thick grade old school aluminum.
Nice addition to my camp gear.
Mr. C, do you have a recommended reading list anywhere? Not just for the skills but maybe history of mountain man and frontier living etc.
Thanks bub!!
Do you still use the aquaquest dry bags and what sizes???
Very nice gear!
I wonder how well the tins fit in the external pouches on a medium Alice pack.
Good stuff! Good prices
How many of the 16oz tins can fit in the bag with out the 48oz cup in it?
Hey Dave look up Basque Axes from Spain, I think they might be up your alley.
This is the best idea, since short lane shotgun adapters. Already own a set of the tins, and not only are they great, they keep the high desert mice from nibbling through everything ( which was a problem). Will a Nuwick 72 hour candle fit inside the small kit? I guess you could just sacrifice one tin and fill it with wax and a couple of wicks. Great job, very innovative yet old woodsy. When will they be back in stock?
the woodland chef cook kit has two sets of fork and knife. does it also have two cups ?
Does the tea kettle fit in the 2 quart bushpot? I have the kettle and want the bushpot
Terrific looking items!
I just wish someone would reproduce the WWI Condiments Tin. It held 3 day's coffee in one end, 3 day's sugar in the other, and salt stored in one lid. The whole thing nested in the Model of 1916 Bacon Can. I'd use mine now if I could get them retinned...
Pygar2 id check around the 18th century reenactors groups tinned items where a big deal in those days and there are some tin smiths still around in those communities that might be able to help in that reguard. check out jas. townsend and son they should know of a few considering they are a reenactment store that is pretty well known and on youtube and facebook.
Very nice!
Dave how well dose tin behave in a very cold weather. Will it freeze shut? And the Chef kit reminds me of the BSA Patrol cook kit.
First love the kits. My idea for an improvement is to make the 4 qt lid fit both the skillet and the pot. 1 less lid to carry.
W ice set, will be ordering the smaller one. Am into lite packing
Cool stuff.
Not seeing either on the website as or right now. Can't wait to give you guys more money, WOOHOO!!!!!

Nice, Dave. Looks like it's time for me to drum up more business to order more goods from ya :) - Bob Jaeger
I like it!
Pantry Plus kick ass idea!
Are the bags water tight?
Awesome
Already sold out of pantry plus, when will you have more
first.. keep it up dave i love all your vids
I wonder, can the wax canvas bags hold water?
Magnetic or not? Makes a difference. I must say that looks good.
Was hoping you was gunna say " but wait theres more"...nice kits
nice kits
I think a small skillet that nests with the small bushpot would be awesome! I love the 8" but it's a little big for just me. Great stuff as always. I think I need to upgrade to gen 2 for the handles
Future Idea for sure
It's nonfolding, but this time of year Walmart sells a tiny cast iron skillet with a dab of brownie mix. I dremeled mine out smooth and have a nice little "one egg" sized skillet- I like it!
David Canterbury you mentioned this kit being for two people, the smaller kit could be for one. I've been looking for a smaller skillet to better fit my bushpot with no avail. You would have the corner market. Plus I would prefer that beautiful pathfinder logo.
BlueDog, there's a skillet called One-Egg Wonder available at Walmart and several similar sized knockoff versions available at grocery & discount stores. Some non-stick, some enameled (?) painted on the outside. Have seen folks remove the handle and use the remaining nub with a multi-tool. I have a One-Egg, but haven't tried it yet. Hope this is helpful in your quest for a skillet of the best size for you.
Pygar2, love castiron, as well. Bought the same skillet for grab/go and vehicle get-home bags. Probably need to bake that brownie mix in one big batch before it gets too old.
Thanks for sharing your castiron tip.
Is all this stuff made in the USA?
*For the Metric People:*
Weight on both: 1.8~2.0 kg
Cookpot: ~20cm diameter x ~23cm height
Pantry: ~13cm diameter x ~41cm height
Dave I cannot find those kits on your online catalog.
11/28/2017
It would obviously be more expensive, but id there a titanium version?
Dave Canterbury, what brand is that hat? It's exactly what I've been looking for, but when I checked your site I didn't see it. Can you point me in the right direction please?
Satsa
like the kits but never did go over pricing
Look in the description box brother
Nice quality. And I like that hat. Where can I get one Dave?
Finland
Are the tins available by themselves?
Yes
Got the Chef's Kit purchased, appears the Pantry Plus is already sold out. UGH, LOL. Even living 6 miles from the store its hard to get the quality gear before its sold out.
Hurry and restock.
Are you selling those sleeves on the website Dave?
No yet only enough stock available for the kits right now
Dave Canterbury once killed a polar bear with a half eaten cob of corn.
Woodsman's pantry is not on the website ..????
Tomorrow
I think the grate and pot setup is pretty neat.
Scott Reece i
having trouble finding these on the website can you add a direct link please.

Do you know posted times? Midnight eastern?
HI David .. Wondering ... Why the name change to the channel ?
Easier to find on a google search
We all know love canteen cup Tuesday how about this fry pan Friday let me know what you think
Hey, Dave: What's up with the new name in the channel?
would this be ultimate for a homelessman?
Cmon Dave I'm trying to get some of your draw knives for Christmas...........but None Available!!!,
....
Did I miss the prices for both kits?
Look in the description box brother
David Canterbury, I guess I missed that the first go-round. If it was a snake I'd have been bitten
I wanted to get this, but the postage costed more then the item itself, what the hell?
Didn't mention anything about pricing
Tried to look it up on the sight shows 0 results
want!
Nice, but can't afford.......bummer😩
Light weight and durable is relatively easy (titanium). Light weight, durable and reasonably priced is another matter.
TI is prone to warping in open fire as well as expensive for sure-
Dave, Are you still having this stuff made in China?
Asia seems the only place that can extrude SS so there is not much choice there, you just have to go with a quality manufacturer
If American, Swiss, French, German, Australian, etc can make quality items by hand or machine then Asia also can, we all have 2 hands and a brain. Yes they can produce poor quality products but so can every other country that is known for producing quality products. Its not the country that matters it's the manufacturer.
I agree with that for sure, but in many cases each area has a specialty when it come to manufacturing and almost all SS Cookware sold in the US is made in Asia somewhere-
Can't argue with that. Definitely other countries produce certain products better, it's just Asia producing a lot of cheapo junk that's led everyone and their dog to believe they can't produce quality. When in reality you get what you pay for, at the right price any man or woman can create quality no matter what country.
& it's the same here in Australia, I guess you could say SS cookware has become one of Asia's speciality's.
