Many of the car review YT channels I watch USED to go into as much detail as the Mikes Car Info videos, and then at some point they started dumbing the videos down to only what their "maintstream" audience wanted to see. Glad to see that the videos on this channel continue to go into such depth!
Mike i am a new subscriber and I just got the 2021 Toyota venza in blueprint on Saturday. I watched your video on it and it was very informative and one of the reasons why we purchased the venza . I also enjoyed your night video on it as well . I absolutely love my venza . Thank you for being the great reviewer you are
I have this car its the worst car i ever had real bad wind noise in the cabin also on a windy day blows you around a lot good thing gets 45 to 50 mpg. Summer about40 to 42 winter the noisy cabin turns me off...
Comprehensive review. Interesting how this car model has been on sale in Japan as the “Harrier” for five years already. When i first saw it, it looked ahead of its time in styling and features and tech. Took Toyota five years to get the same car here.....and it still looks contemporary.
Excellent review. I just bought a Venza identical to this one and am still figuring out all the menu's. The only thing you left out that I saw on another review was how to adjust the digital mirror. I kept feeling like I needed to tilt my view down and now I know how to do it. I'm going to give my salesperson the link to this video so he can share it with potential Venza owners.
Wish I had seen your video before buying my Venza a week ago, not that there is a problem, just enjoyed all your information that would have been nice to learn beforehand. I have not gone through my entire Owner's Manual yet, but did look for "remote start" and do not see it anywhere in the manual. I thought I heard you mention "remote start" in this video. Mine is able to be started with the fob inside the house, but it doesn't work on the first try most times and it seems you must be pretty close to the car for it to work. Did you do any testing with it yourself? Thank you! Jani
Very gVery good detailed breakdown of the functions and features. Good job! The LTD is just under just $50K in Canada. I am surprised it is missing heated rear passenger seats, fog lights and auto dimming outside mirrors.
Excellent work, Mike!!! You're videos are always so detailed and extremely informative. Very well done! The Venza seems like a really compelling Hybrid SUV. 🤩
Love this in depth. I’ve learned a few things I hadn’t figured out. At ~16:38 you mentioned that the shade could be stored in the spare tire bay. I haven’t been able to figure that out. I didn’t see it in the video. Could you elaborate?
Once you lift the floor up you just have to remove the plastic panels on both sides by pulling them up to release them. Then the shade can fit over the spare tire area and the panels and floor can go back down hiding the shade.
Very nice information video that we make person to get inside and play around like 👍👌 I didn't like the Start button which is not in a right place and radio A/C, vent control buttons not clear and all soft touch system looks like some sily mistakes I am not impressed on inside design but out side looks great
I wonder if you have been watching horror movies where people sneak up on people in cars. 🤔😆 And by the way, that little tray inside the arm rest storage is where you are supposed to store those two cup holder inserts. I do enjoy watching your detailed videos.
Thanks for telling us how tall you are, it helps us see the interior space. I do like this color and I just read that the Venza was discontinued in 2015 but is now back for 2021. I'm not sure what the actual difference is between the Venza and the Rav4 hybrid. I'm assuming the Venza sits in between the Rav4 and the Highlander. I always appreciate how Mike goes through the gauges, settings and how to navigate the screen. One would think that the "Limited" edition would have all the bells and whistles and it appears to, except no fog lights and lack of lumbar support for the passenger. Toyota has their usual packages, XLE ($32K), and the Limited ($39K). Did you leave M. Beach and move to Texas?
I’m really torn between the venza limited and the RAV4 hybrid limited 😭 I’m looking to purchase the car in December or should I wait for next year January 2022
Hey, I got me a 2021 Limited and trying and trying and trying to get the reverse tilt mirrors to function. Do I have them? 🤷🏻, I’m trying though. Would you by chance know if my Venza has them? Thanks.
Actually there’s two cameras in the rear. The 360 camera is at the top of the rear glass looking out through the glass. It’s darkly tinted and easy to miss.
The camera in the top glass is for the rear-view camera/mirror. The 360 system uses the backup camera at the bottom along with the front and side cameras.
@@MrKillerRC Two cameras total in the back. The one next to the license plate is for the backup camera/360 camera and the one looking through the rear glass is for the rear-view camera/mirror.
Venza is based on the Toyota Harrier which is like the Lexus RX . It's bigger than rav4 , smaller than a highlander which has grown in size considerably over the years .
@@MikesCarInfo ha! I must of glazed over that in your video. Although everything I’ve read and seen elsewhere made it appear that heated rear seats was “Standard” in the Limited edition. So it’s odd seeing yours without it !!
can you review new 300s HEMI, or the v6 ver? i'm looking at trading my R/T for 300s v8 soon, maybe.. our streets are too rough for it, i need something w/better ride, thanks
Pretty sure the RT and 300s are built on the same chassis. Ride is gonna be similar if not the same. My roads are terrible too. Best thing I did was buy an SUV.
@@ImYoutubing247 right on.. well mine has the Scat Pack suspension, so it kinda rides extra rough! lolz.. and its just a r/t 5.7. was hoping the 300s being a luxury car would at least ride a little better. i need to go test drive one, prolly tomorrow. thanks man!
If your Lane Tracing Assist fights you too much, it obviously knows better than you do, so why don't you just let it take over full-time? If you attach a 10 oz weight (using Velcro straps) to the steering wheel at around the 9 - 10 o'clock position to simulate the weight of your hand, the ACC and LTA will take over and made your car fully self-driving. It is the only way that I drive freeways these days, with both hands and feet off. Of course, you need to be vigilant and be ready to take over the control of the steering wheel at any time, but it is so much more relaxing!
Toyota made a mistake in replacing the Venza with the Signia Crown; consumers want an upscale Toyota SUV and not a souped-up, over-priced station wagon. Product mgt should have continued their focus and development on the Venza platform.
@@MikesCarInfo Since your reviews are the best on RUclips, I agree with this poster that you should review a Tesla. Maybe rent one. We all are eager to see/hear about the Tesla Cybertruck. :)
the dealer put swirl marks on it already lol the detailing departments are all incompetant. i would take $1000 off the price for that. that'll teach them to use clean, soft washing methods. devaluing their own cars. some people might not even want to buy it.
I know what you mean but this vehicle is a press car that was never at a dealership. I am sure that journalists have taken it to many abrasive automatic car washes in the 3500 miles it has been in circulation.
Toyota is making a big mistake going to hybrid only. They have no resale value as if you speak with anyone who’s kept a hybrid 10-12 years they’ll tell you that the car is worthless when the batteries die as no one will invest +$6,000 for a new battery.
If I was interested in purchasing a Venza I would appreciate an hour video no problem at all. I'm not so I watched about 30 minutes only...... UPDATE: I came back and watched the other 31 minutes.... GREAT REVUE!!!
I’m here for the hand pointer…
5 months later I own a Venza.

The tray in the center console is to put the cup holder adapters in when not in use.
There is another way to open and close the power rear door. You can use your foot under the bumper if your hands are full of bags.

Great video! The cup tray inside - under the arm rest is the place for the adjustable cup pieces to be stored while not in use:)
Thanks for the info!
Really excellent guide to the camera system about 45 minutes in. Bravo!
Scary spooky sound when backing up

The tray is to hold the cup holder discs and to stow them in the arm rest storage
The previous generation Venza had "balls" with the V6. At least give the new Venza the RAV4 Prime power plant.

Highlander is 7-8 seater mid-sized SUV while Venza is a 5 seater.
You never showed the rear door panel/controls, if you had, you would have noticed that the rear seats are in fact heated. :)
