I got a costal gray xle this weekend. It has the softech package. Man, what a great car. I'm more of a sports car kind of guy. I never liked CUVs, but this one is great. Fuel efficiency is awesome and the ride is so smooth. It accelerates great, and to me it's whisper quiet compared with the cars I'm used to driving.

Yep, the Venza gets the advertised mileage. I have over 5400 miles on my limited and the fuel range does NOT match the advertised 14.5 gallon tank. I’ve never put more than 11.3 gallons in the tank on empty. Recently took a trip driving over 2600 miles and never approached putting in over 10.5 gallons or limited to 405-420 miles before fill up. Look on Toyota Venza chat lines and other owners make the same claim. I’ve taken it back to the dealer and of course they say everything checks out fine. I’ve called Toyota corporate and made a claim and as they told me, I’m not the only one who’s made this claim. Waiting for a TSB for a recall.

Good review Jeff and your earlier video sold me a new Venza four months ago. I bought an XLE because I wanted the analog A/C and radio controls. The SofTex upgrade gave me the ventilated seats and a power passenger seat. I also got Coastal Gray paint but opted for the gray interior. The black felt too dark because of the black headliner and the gray came with a light headliner. I love the car and thanks brother for suggesting the Venza.

I've had mine for about 8 months now, approximately 9k miles. I love it. I usually put gas once, maybe twice a month. Surprisingly, what I like least about the car is what I initially loved - the interior. As much as the "leather" is comfy and soft, it's also very hard to keep clean. Crumbs get stuck in the perforations. It's not easy to keep clean with kids. I still love it, but I also love being able to clean my car easily. I do not regret the purchase. It's been a solid purchase. It's also quite a conversation piece. I've had quite a few people stop to ask me about this very cool car. Someone even ran my doorbell while at home to ask if I'd like to sell it. I'd buy it again in another color, preferably red. I have the black one.

Bought my wife a 2021 Venza LE in blueprint in mid May, and got to drive it myself quite a bit. I get no wind noise whatsoever. The car feels great riding on the freeways, and gives us around 36.5 mpg. We get up to 39 mpg if we drive conservatively. That is a huge improvement over my last car that struggled to give me 22 mpg (though it is not a fair comparison because that was a 2019 Traverse). Still, I enjoy visiting the gas stations less often than before.

I dont think it has loud road noise at all. the trunk is a little smaller than I like but totally workable. this is a beautiful car!! Only real complaint it that it does not have a functioning sun roof. I will ultimately end up trading it in for this option eventually.

I've had my Venza Limited for 6 months now. I had some buyer's remorse at first. But I'm liking it more and more as time goes on. My MPG varies from 35-43. It really is a great car for anyone looking for the perfect combination of luxury, practicality, and efficiency. It doesn't bother me at all that it lacks a radio knob because I use the buttons on the seering wheel anyways. The tonneau cover comes in handy for air drying wet gear after a day on the beach or pool. My only gripe is the positioning of the rear blinker lights. My bike and bike rack tend to obstruct the blinker light. Toyota should remove those lower lights altogether and incorporate the blinkers in with the taillights. And as an added bonus, The blinkers should be sequential

WOW great job on this video you did here. I love how in depth you were on going over this venza. I think these new Venza's look really nice. It think it has a nice sporty style Lexus look to it which I really like. I love how loaded this vehicle is with a lot of stuff on it. I just leased my 2020 Rav4 XSE last August and these were just starting to come out and if they would have been out sooner I may have looked into leasing one of these instead. What I don't like is that they don't put any knobs on the display screen for volume and Temp control. I don't like having to do everything by touch screen. I do really like how it has such a big screen on it and the pop up display thing would be really nice to have. Also that sun roof does look pretty cool but do agree that it should still be able to open. The one issue I might having is pricing if I decided to get one instead of staying with my Rav4.

Three months with the Venza Limited. I have settled into using the drive mode full time. Not worth the gas savings to use eco mode. Drive mode gives the best AC cooling. No issues with the car. I use the view mode whenever I park. Saves me from getting back in the car to re-park it. On the digital rear mirror, disorients me. Okay to use it in a large parking lot, for safety. No one sneaking up on you. I use the regular mirror.

I got a 2023 and it has a steering column rattle. My local Toyota dealer couldn’t replicate it, so I can’t get it fixed. Like the interior, it’s an LE so it still has knobs, and easy to clean fabric. No heated seats but I’m in Florida. No Birds Eye view nor does it have that frosty sunroof. Doesn’t have heads up display and that would be my favorite feature. My wife never drives it so memory seats aren’t needed. 35.3 mpg after 5200 miles.

I agree with Jeff on comfort - have been on 8 hour trips no problem. Also agree on acceleration. I get about 37.5 mpg. Don’t completely agree on the noise and ride comments.

Not spelled out by Jeff, the brake and throttle response are excellent.

Good review. Like the old Venza, former Camry drivers seem to think that either iteration of Venza is excessively noisy, especially in road noise. The SUV/CUV platform as a rule is noisier than a sedan and the trend to put lower profile and wider tires on a rig will certainly make a vehicle noisier than a sedan. Me, I came from sport coupes and sedans, lots of noise. Presently I have an old Venza, contemplating a new Venza.

I have a blueprint Limited with the Pano roof. Had it for a month/1100 miles. Came from a Kia Cadenza SXL sedan with all the stuff. Opinions on the Venza: the carpeting is thin and feels cheap, the kick sensor for the gate works sometimes, the entertainment system with maps is terrible and that’s comparing it to a Kia, there is noticeable road noise from the tires and wind, the heads up display is large but the information is limited compared to Kia, the Pano roof is a gimmick and waste of money especially if you’re used to a pano roof that opens, the Toyota Sense 2.0 needs more work as some of the safety tools don’t work well, the limited space in the hatch, though I didn’t think would be an issue is, mirrors don’t lower when backing up and they don’t fold out when approaching the car, the seats are comfortable but they’re VINYL not soft leather, the glass used is noticeably thinner than a Kia, storage in the console and front area is very limited, they’re are huge blind spots in the front as I didn’t think the window pillars were thick but they are, the button for start/stop is in a stupid spot taking up room from the console area, if you have a pet, the back seat can’t be folded down or they’ll never get air as there isn’t any hooks or vents for the hatch area and finally, this is priced like a Lexus NX @ $43,300. It is NOT a Lexus and shouldn’t be considered as a Lexus alternative. It drives nice and the mileage is as advertised but IMO the Venza is overpriced by 5-8K. Buyers remorse, yep. I leased the Venza but If I could do it over again, I would have leased a Kia Telluride EX with blackout package for the same price,

I considered it but unfortunately there is little to no inventory especially wanting a Telluride. I looked at Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento but again, inventory is limited and I’m not going to step down to a base model of any brand. I’ll drive the Venza for now and see what happens after the first of the year. Hopefully the chip shortage will be better and inventory levels will increase.

I've done one long road trip from Fort Worth to Ogden Utah and a lot of that was 75 + miles an hour I don't know if that is what's causing the low mileage or what.
