Another triumph for Jeff. Nobody does this type of comparison of trim levels. Better than the Whiteboard even. Very clear. What they all have standard, what's different. Doesn't miss a feature. Comprehensive.
The amount of standard features that comes on the Venza LE trim just blows my mind, I’m really hoping all of Toyota’s base trims will have a lot more standard features.
Hi ToyotaJeff. I’m currently shopping new hybrids. I have found my local hybrid car market is full of marketing misinformation, half-truths and/or misunderstandings. Your various videos on Toyota hybrids have been a huge help clearing up a lot of this misinformation. Thank you for educating American about all the Toyota hybrid options. I wish my local Toyota sales teams were as knowledgeable. You should be very proud of your work.
Hi, I am intrigued by Venza and the details and features in the vehicle. But I am just curious. Limited Venza is in the Acura RDX zone price wise. Have you considered it? What made you choose Venza over Acura or Lexus? Thanks.
@@mephi5t0 I just saw your question, and thought I'd answer it since I just contemplated this exact decision...and just purchased the Venza Limited last Saturday :-) 1) I like the all wheel drive. We will be moving to the Ashville area, and the all wheel drive will be helpful. It's standard on the Venza, and $2,000 more for the RDX. That said, my parents live there already - and love their RDX even without the AWD. 2) As far as I could find (right now in 2021), the RDX is not available as a hybrid - I had to step up to the MDX...and that added quite a bit to the cost...especially if I wanted it with AWD. And I really wanted a hybrid. 3) I needed the extra space available in the back seat of the Venza - it's slightly bigger than the RDX. The RDX gives the driver/front passenger that extra room. I'm 5'9" so I'm comfortable with what the Venza has in the front. 4) Really, personal taste played a part - I love the look of the Venza. And I love that it's not all that common of a car. 5) When the car ages, repairs on Toyotas and Hondas are less than Lexus and Acura. 4) Moving up to Lexus from Toyota - or from Honda to Acura - you're buying up to a name and perceived prestige (not a thing wrong with that!), but it just ended up not being that important to me. These are just my thoughts and opinions, such as they are :-) Good luck in your shopping....the research is part of the fun :-)

I just got a Limited Venza last Thursday. Bought it at Fred Anderson of Columbia. They had to bring one in for me with the Star gaze roof and the advanced technology package. I love it. The lack of knobs took a little to get use too, but it doesn't bother me.
I live in Hawaii, and the sales man I met yesterday didn’t explain anything to me-he didn’t even do the test drive with me. Thank you so much for explaining!! I am waiting in line to get the LE now simply because it’s more economic and still with the nice standard features :)
@@TexasGirl1633 Yes I do. The touch sensitive buttons took time to get used to but that’s the only thing that was annoying at first. My spouse got a 4Runner Limited back in August and that is way overdue for a redesign inside and out IMO.
The 2021 Venza is a rebadged Toyota Harrier, which from 1998-2013, was a rebadged Lexus RX. It’s good to see that this new Venza is loaded even on the base model.
I live in Japan, and my car is a Toyota Harrier, the vehicle upon which the Venza is based. The version I drive is closest to the Limited. It is by far the best car purchase I have ever made. Absolutely love this car.
Great video, Jeff! We're leasing a 2021 Limited Venza, Hybrid-best car we've ever had! The main thing that had kept my husband from from getting a hybrid Toyota before, was not realizing HOW MUCH extra power the 4 cylinder engine gets from the Eco boost mode from the Hybrid battery! We love Toyotas, especially the top end Camrys-just like getting Lexus, for LOTS less money. Add the financial boost of leasing- You just can't beat the deal. After trying top-of-the line Acuras (totally overpriced & under performing- instead of a spare tire, Honda put in a can of FIX-A-FLAT!!) we headed back to the Toyota dealership...We had ordered another top trim MDX, but after waiting 6 months, the Acura salesmen said that they didn't have the one we had put a big deposit on, but we might like to look at one MDX that was nowhere near what we had ordered- back to Toyota! Luckily they had just gotten in a Rose Gold Titanium Venza, Limited with the Technical Package- so beautiful, and an absolute joy to drive! The Moon gaze roof is amazing, the puddle lights, and everything else -especially the 12.3 inch screen & the air conditioned & heated ventilated seats, the sound system- after a quick test drive that same night, the lease was signed!!* The get up & GO, compared with the clunky transmission MDX, quickly impressed us! It's been nothing less than a joy to drive! We easily get over 40 mpg-without even trying! The heads up display keeps us informed of the changing speed limits... Everything about the 2021 Limited Hybrid Venza is SO impressive! The only question I have is- Why do we almost NEVER see any advertising from Toyota, about this wonderful car? And in this first year of the lease, why have we only seen 2 of these awesome cars, in a city with tons of expensive cars? I really would like to hear Toyota's explanation for the absurd lack of advertising for the best value, technology & just all around joy to drive, the Venza? Thankyou for the great video- & can't wait to hear an explanation!
Just got a limited model with advanced technology package. would 100% recommend. i was debating between rav4 and venza and test drove both. my mom has a camry hybrid and the venza drove more similar to that. the rav4 felt slower and more weighed down to me. i loved them both, but the venza felt more luxurious and fun to me. great video! was debating between xle and limited for a long time but ultimately decided the digital mirror, birds eye camera, HUD, and all the upgrades i wouldve gotten for the XLE was worth the extra thousand dollars.

After testing a lot of vehicles in this class, and renting a Venza for a week to be sure - I bought a 22 Venza Limited in same color as this review. I've owned a wide variety of vehicles in my 55 years of driving. I am happier with this Venza than any other vehicle I've ever purchased - even happier than the 2006 E500 Benz I owned. I'm 6 months and 6000 miles into ownership. There is not one complaint I have about it. Absolutely great comfortable vehicle with incredible tech. I highly recommend it.
Thank you for this review! I've been spoiled to date and only driven top end German cars, but now I live in Australia that's just not an option due to luxury taxes and the cost of parts and labour. I'm really interested in this car, especially that it is made in Japan. Thanks!

FINALLY All trim model back to back review. THANK YOU - always loved to see those comparisons when watching new car reviews. It only makes sence to look a Base next to Premium to decide and see whats added- great job man,
Thank you for making this vehicle. I have been looking at many videos on the 2021 and 2022 Venza trying to decide if I wanted to upgrade from my 2014 Venza. I even sent this video to my dealer so he could see some of the things I mentioned to him :). Great job.
Jeff. I was so much impressed by your video of the 3 trims. So informative. My wife and I are looking forward in trying out the Venza. Need more people like you on u tube
We bought one of these in LE trim for my wife in May, and so far there are only two things that I don't like about it. Otherwise, it is an amazing ride. 1. I am a tall guy (6' 4"), and the front door opening is so small that I have to duck my head when getting in and out. Since this car was bought for my wife who is average size and has no issues, I don't really count this one as a major problem, but wanted to point it out in case anyone tall out there is thinking about buying this car for themselves. Once I am inside, I am really comfortable. It's just the opening that is an issue (specifically ceiling is too low). 2. Recently the 12 volt outlet stopped working, and I am pretty sure that it is just the fuse that went out. The problem is that the manual only shows you where all the fuse boxes are, but does not provide a diagram of which fuse is for what. There are 3 fuse boxes (two in the engine bay, and one under the steering wheel column inside the cabin), and only one of the fuse box covers in the engine bay has a diagram (which is not fully self-explanatory). The other two fuse boxes don't give any info whatsoever.
Great video as always!! Only thing missing is a drivings impression with a cabin noise db meter! Everybody says they're super quiet and have a comfortable ride but I want to hear it from you! Best Toyota Vehicles Reviewer out there! Keep up the good work Jeff!
Really great job! Your videography is better than most, particularly the extreme close-ups (very minimal blurring). I think this is your best edited video yet.
Great video. Lots of helpful info. I have so say one thing about the car. Softex (vinyl) is not nearly as nice and having leather as an option. People deserve a choice. Also power passenger seat does not have lumbar support. In fairness most cars do not because the OEMs cheap out on the passenger side.
Thanks so much. The salesmen told me literally nothing about the car, only wanted to talk about personal life story while test driving. The questions I asked during and before sale they either didn't know or told me the wrong info. Said the LE has no remote start, no wireless phone charge, no auto trunk lift, so much wrong info. Finance guy told me hybrid battery doesn't have standard warranty to try to get me to buy extended one and then snuck it in my contract anyways. How do they even have a job with Toyota I'm not sure. Thank you so much so I can actually know more about my car (I did my own research before buying too thank God)
Very informative and concise video. Thanks Jeff! I am most likely going with the LE since it actually has physical buttons on the screen, and I don't like sunroof's. The only sticking point for me will be the softex vs cloth interiors. I already test drove a limited and looking for an LE to compare to.
I personally like the LE wheels so much more then the XLE and Limited models 😅 Gotta give toyota credit on how much you get with the LE. Great car all around.
My 2010 Toyota Prius with 250,000 miles serve serve me well. It is running up repair bills into the thousands that I can't justify. I'm favoring the Venza LE with Premium audio. Wonder if the car has a remote starter. I uses that everyday. Very helpful in winter time because the engine will be warm already and I just have to turn on the instant heat. Thank you, Jeff. Excellent video.
It has remote start on the Limited. Connection Services offers remote start as well which can be utilized from your phone on the Venza app. This option unfortunately DOES expire I believe in one year from date if purchase and then you pay for it. I believe with the other options that are included, it is worth paying for!
So I don't usually comment but here it is: I WAS 50/50 between the Subaru Outback XL and the Venza XLE with some upgrades like the Premium Sound Sysem and Softec package. After watching your vid I'm now strongly leaning towards the Toyota. I need to do one more "drive off" and see what I like best. One hang up on going Toyota mignt be the color options. I really really love either the Blue or Red but BOTH are "sold -out" on the main site. I'm going to be ordering either way as I'm not in a rush to get a new car. Suggestions welcomed!
Got the Limited in Coastal Grey no moon roof (didn't want it) I'm short and the liftgate is adjustable to stop at several levels, no more jumping up to lower it, I've got it in my reach! :) I love my Venza. One complaint, the projection headlights have a spot in them and it's driving me nuts.
Thanks for the video. I would suggest that you aim for split screens in editing when you are showing us the difference between trim levels for a certain part of the car, e.g. the wheels. Nothing is better than seeing the three different wheels on the same screen.
Thank you, Jeff. Your review is awesome!!! But I was wondering if any of the newer models have a self diagnose feature with a warning light or sound if something is close to breaking down. Please let me know if you read this. Thanks again.

probably the best review i have seen … great video
Thanks Sean!!
Jeff, You are simply the best! Thank you for a great video. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
All th info we need. Fun yet straight forward presentation. No "high production" nonsense. Thanks for respecting our time. SUBSCRIBE
This is the best video I ever watched about car presentation, good job and thanks for your effort to show this model to us
Best comparation that I ever seen. Excellent job. Thanks.
Best Comparison EVER!
i love this guy's reviews. this is what i needed.
I had a very similar experience as you did and SO wish l had bought from Jeff and not the dealership l bought from.
I am getting the limited for sure your video sold me .. Thank you!!
Great informative video and your enthusiasm is great....will be purchasing a 2023 XLE or Limited - as soon as we becomes available.
I meant to subscribe before I even saw this, and then he started with a rap! Definitely subscribed! Love your posts!
The Venza needs a functioning Moonroof.
Yes
I work for Toyota and had the panoramic roof on the 1st Gen Venza. I was VERY disappointed this roof does not open.
Can’t believe that, yes. It’s being marketed as a “high-end RAV4,” that competes with the styling of a Lexus RX, but the moonroof doesn’t open?
Odd.
We need moonroof that open...dealbreaker
Very educational...and hilarious at the same time. I like this guy!
you are great sir...your way to telling details is so incredible and so easily that it easily understands....like job sir
Carl NY50. Is your Prius still on its original battery?
So I don't usually comment but here it is: I WAS 50/50 between the Subaru Outback XL and the Venza XLE with some upgrades like the Premium Sound Sysem and Softec package. After watching your vid I'm now strongly leaning towards the Toyota. I need to do one more "drive off" and see what I like best. One hang up on going Toyota mignt be the color options. I really really love either the Blue or Red but BOTH are "sold -out" on the main site. I'm going to be ordering either way as I'm not in a rush to get a new car. Suggestions welcomed!
Omg! You just are the best... thanks for this video 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 it’s perfect
Love the video I just booked a test drive this weekend
i’m living for your energy!!
Thank you for taking me back, even if it was subtle and brief, to my childhood with The Count laugh.
Moonroof is literally not a bad idea, it just serves as additional window.
Really helpful! Wish we could get the LE with the Softex package.
I love xle gonna go looking for it next week 😍
Best review I’ve seen. Just got the limited.
Why did Toyota put the blinkers all the way at the bottom by the bumper!!!! Why Jeff !!!!
Thanks for the video. I would suggest that you aim for split screens in editing when you are showing us the difference between trim levels for a certain part of the car, e.g. the wheels. Nothing is better than seeing the three different wheels on the same screen.
Great video, please do one for the highlander, with all of the acrobatics .
Best comparison video ever seen.
This was actually super entertaining, and informative.cheesy entertainment is my jam lol
Great job!
Hey Jeff. Nice Comparison. I wish they would have just called in "Harrier" like it is called in Japan.
I like the name Harrier too
@@Toyotajeff What about Hairier?
Thanks for being so thorough and entertaining, Jeff!
I spot a Toyota Matrix, Who owns the Matrix.
Thank you, Jeff. Your review is awesome!!! But I was wondering if any of the newer models have a self diagnose feature with a warning light or sound if something is close to breaking down. Please let me know if you read this. Thanks again.
