I purchased the red one in May 2021. I love it. After a work week, I’d only burned a half tank of gas. A lot of head turning. The sound full..you don’t hear speakers banging in the back. Fun to drive on the highway. I love my Venza as much as I love my Mercedes CLA 250c. The backup cameras phenomenal. I don’t struggle to backup. Not afraid I’m going to hit anything. It’s really really nice. I love the tablet. I haven’t figured out how to see my heads up display. I’m not sure if mine is equipped with it. But, I do have the panoramic roof. I feel like Toyota does need to make the roof open. Keep you some screen wipes because you’ll leave your fingerprints on the screen and AC display.
I got my 2021 Venza in March. Overall I love it, however having no raised buttons for the air, music, map, etc, you have to take your eyes off the road to see where to touch for these things. I'm averaging 40 mph, getting 45 mph on the interstate if I keep my speed around 68 mph. I can travel around 500 miles on a tank of gas which is nice for trips. The traffic sensors are very quick to respond when needed... the car automatically slammed on brakes when it saw a deer bolting across the road right in front of me, so always wear your seatbelt.
I just bought my 2021 Venza limited 2 weeks ago and I’m loving it. I had a 2007 RAV4 before and upgraded to this ! This is the first time I’ve own a hybrid car before and it taking at lot to get use too. All and all I love this car and haven’t found any issues with this car.
I love how Toyota brought back the nameplate as a hybrid only SUV, the Venza nameplate has finally came back after 6 years of not being available. Toyota has killed it with this new Venza.
I own a Venza limited without the switchable skylight. It rides about the same as a Subaru Outback. Wind noise noticeable on highway. Road noise varies enormously with types of pavement. Engine noise no problem. Gas mileage 35-37 mpg. Handles well, seats comfortable, throttle & brake response very smooth. CVT excellent. Nav system awful, lane centering unpredictable, adaptive cruise control mostly good, but loses lead vehicle too easily on curves and hills, and picks up stopped vehicle at red light too late. If you are new to a hybrid as I am, take a look at the RUclips videos by the Car Care Nut. There are surprises in store about things like jump-starting, no alternator or starter, etc.
I have the 2021 venza limited, i luv it, however there are issues with the cup holders, if there is a drink in it or your reaching for the dash the driver will hit the drink with their elbow, so you have to reach around to the dash. Also an issue with sun visor not coming down low enough to block out early sun. And there is a horrible noise having to do with the traction going over some not all dips!!! This car needs some improvements big time.
I have 2022 venza hybrid limited i love it i can run more than 1000 kilometers for 55 litre of tank make sure don't put your heavy foot on the paddle ok light foot on the paddle. Thanks for your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Yes I missed out on the birds eye view and rear view mirror camera and heated seats but id honestly rather have the buttons over capacitive touch. Love my venza. Still has the power mirrors, seat, and liftgate, and the lane assist and adaptive cruise. Thats all I need. Rides like its on a cloud
@@thekenthouse6428 all reviews are like that for every car. I think they pick the one they think will be the biggest seller. I agree they should do base models too because those can be a little different.
I agree. I own this vehicle in the limited. The front end doesn’t excite me. But, neither does Lexus’ front end. I prefer the Venza front end over the Lexus front end.
Sorry, the photo in the video is an **artist's mock-up**, not real image. In the live shot of the infotainment screen (at 1:29), you can see the 12" screen is flickering slightly. In the mock-up shot of Apple Carplay (at 1:33), the image is static with no flicker and stationary camera. The white on black background gives it away too - no depth to the image, especially along the right hand border.
I really think they need to redo the front fascia (even though in sure it had something to do with its insane mpg people are getting over equivalent rav 4 hybrid on hwy) Point is, its noce, it can be a tiny bit better. Get rid of all the hard junk plastic on b pillar and bottom of doors. Make better electric modes, i.e. bmw has for its e versions where u drive to n from work it learns and guages by maps, ur route and best uses the power plants to make best use of the power n best efficiency and then shows u exactly what ur doing in simple ways that make sense. Also on this model, it has buttons on le n xle not equipped with the 12 inch screen. The 8 in screen has buttons as does the heat/ac has buttons and dials which i think look nice and are way easier to use. So id say if ur serious about this, skip the top trim, unless u need the sweet moon roof changing thing, that doesnt even open lol. Its not bad, but i wish theyd let their consumers change it around. This is for sale in japan as the harrier. Also this is exclusively made in japan, al venzas for 2021 are. That will change if it takes off. So get one while its made there. Looks better than a Ford Edge
It’s quite sleek
Ordered one Friday will be here early July and I can't wait!!
How do you feel about it now?
Great job on this. This is one of my contenders next to a Platinum Rogue, CX-5/CX-30, or a Kona.
I think it looks good. Better than the alternatives they offer in Europe right now. Great Review!
Thanks :)
I hope I get this car before the end of the month

Yes! I thought this vehicle was a jag also when I first saw it on the road.
What a beautiful car.

The infotainment center is like having a huge flat screen TV. What's streaming on Netflix?
Issa big screen!

It seems to be the direction Toyota is going. It's on the conservative side.

I hope they change the grill design soon. I like everything but that.
The grill is a bit bland for my taste. The interior is very nice though. The package feels refined.
Like so many cars lately, it has the tablet like display, just slapped onto the dashboard, and I hate that.
At 1:33, how did you get Android Auto (or Apple Carplay) to fill the entire screen?
I too need the answer to this!

That seems similar size to Toyota Voxy
Could be. The Voxy is not sold in the US or Canada so I’m familiar with it.
Isn't it a recipe for disaster when you're driving 80 mph on the highway while looking up recipe on chocolate cake?

The Lexus NX is about the same price the Venza but the 21 version is not the new engine. Why would I choose the Venza over the Lexus
If nothing else, Scotty Kilmer would give the nod to the Venza since it's made in Aichi, Japan and not Ontario, Canada like the NX.
Are this one going to Europe?
I can check. I know it's called the Harrier in some markets.
