I just started doing tai chi again using Don’s videos. For some reason, I seem to connect with him as an instructor more than anyone else on RUclips. His videos helped me recover from an accident where I shattered my upper arm and came close to losing mobility in it because the pain was so bad I was too afraid to move. My doctor predicted I would maybe get 85% motion back in my arm if I was lucky. Doing these exercises, I have full use of my arm back. Getting back into tai chi now after enduring 3 years of tough life events (left an abusive relationship, my dad passed from cancer). It’s my way of taking care of myself, as I have neglected my health due to stress. This helps.
We tried other Tai Chi instructors... my husband is almost 80 and I am 73. Don's lessons are amazing. He explains the breathing..and for once I am sure of the leg and side... we strongly recommend Don's lesson..

I am not to good with coordination, but he is easy to follow, i dislike very much exercises but i have to move i have cronic back and neck pain, i just started the program, my doctor believes this will help my pain, thanks for the wonderful video, God bless
We are in our 80 years we have been doing Dons 8 minutes tho chi easy to follow and great for older people.Silver sneakers should teach seniors this lesson instead wasting our time and medicare money sending us to therapy

Don Fiore is truly great Tai Chi teacher who's 21 minutes program for beginners and seniors helped me and my wife a lot. Everyday we do this program in front of our desktop computer and we feel the difference in our mobility and general health.

I was recommended Tai Chi exercises by my respiratory specialist. We stumbled - fortunately! - across Don Fiore's lessons, and I am very impressed. I have always been a sceptic, but am won over by the benefits I feel after only a couple of weeks.
I've been doing this almost every morning for 6 months and I notice a major difference in the overall tension I was feeling in my body. Well I think that the various manoeuvres of your Tai Chi twenty minute session stays within the envelope sort of thing but still cleverly exerts the muscles,joints etc, if you actually look at the different movements they exert shoulders,abdominal muscles,lattissimus muscles in the back, particularly‘over the drum’ you feel it in the lats but also many of the other movements, judiciously involving all the muscles and staying away from the edge of straining oneself etc

I am 77yo, and had sacral fractures 9 months ago and couldn’t walk, but as I recovered I started doing this TaiChi routine daily for the past 6 months and now I have my balance back and am walking again. My wife does it with me and is getting great benefits also. Much appreciated.
I am 48 yrs, have done ashtanga yoga before but now having advanced arthrosis and pinched nerves in the back. I loved this, almost felt like crying during the first minutes. Never tried tai chi before and missed this feeling of mental and spiritual peace combined with the movement. 🙏❤️

Don, I really appreciate your making this video! I’ve been recovering from a car accident injury, where a driver ran a stop sign and hit me. i could never had imagined that these seamingly simple exercises in Tai Chi could give me so much benefit . My aches are definitely slowing disappearing since I began these exercises about one month ago . Its a great start to my day as I watch the video after breakfast . I enjoy listening to Dons calm voice and gentle manner , I intend to carry on with Tai Chi and hope that I can get in the habit of flowing with the flow of life instead of sometime battling against the stream . I just recently discovered Don Fiori's Tai Chi videos and I'm thrilled. I've had live TC instructors before and they both were overly concerned with how far apart I stepped out or how I didn't come up to the shoulders and would stop the class to show me. I like how Don says find your own balance and stay in that space. Also, instructors before wore white outfits and one just doesn't get the full picture of what they are doing with the white clothing. The dark clothing makes a difference, for me. Lastly, the gentleness of Don's voice calms nerves. So thank you. I'll keep following and will tell friends.
Thanks Don! I am 76 yrs old and have tried at least 100 different qigong forms but have been unsuccessful learning tai chi. But your Tai Chi video is great due to simplicity and clear teaching. You're the man! I can now do some form of Tai Chi thanks to your Tai Chi for Seniors and Beginners. I first took Tai Chi lessons in 1979 but found it too difficult to follow, too many movements to memorize. But your Tai Chi is so easy to learn and perform. It's so smooth and effective. It flows and you rock Don!
I have just followed this sequence for the first time. It's now my bedtime and I felt so centred and relaxed whilst I did these movements. I'm certain I'll get a good night's rest. I'm 60, with 2 hip replacements and also am living with RA, these movements are a perfect supplement to exercises that I do. Thank you, Don.
The reviews duplicate what I’ve been thinking. I just turned 72 and your instructions are simple and clear. I’ve looked at others videos but yours is the only one that teaching with the mirror image. As a survivor of a pretty bed traffic accident where I was hit by a car, this Tai Chi is a fantastic return for me. Don is so good at setting a meditative mood and guiding the movements. I'm grateful for finding this video. I have problems with one leg that keep me from exercising. These movements are just perfect and I feel like I've had a real workout when he is done.

Major gratitude Sir, started this routine about a year and a half ago. I'm in my early 40's with a fair share of health "hurdles". Been through about a dozen different cycles of standard P.T. and decades of "chasing pain". NOTHING has brought me anywhere near the relief I have received with this. The whole body stretching is underrated as I'm sure you are aware. I deal with a significant amount of muscle control, balance issues, and weakness/fatigue. The ability to address all of these symptoms at once, along with helping to save my limited reservoir of energy is beyond describable. Thanks doesn't even touch how grateful I am, in a way I owe my life to you/this. I have finally gotten to a point I feel "competent" and am optimistic to try other routines.

Thank goodness I have found Don truely amazing. I have not been able to get to my regular group it has closed down owing to covid lock down and the church wanting their hall back. My back deteriorated drastically in the three years I have not been going However after only a few days I feel so much better, Thank you

I came on your site today to find your 9 minute program; instead I found the 20 minute one. Good substitute for my morning walk which is on hiatus until our outdoor heat lowers considerably. We are not able to go to the gym and use the walking/running track because all gyms are closed now. This is a good program, as is the shorter one. I have been using your videos for several years as backup when I cannot do my usual activities. You do look good in black, but I agree with the previous writer about your need to wear something that will contrast better with your background on the video. My old eyes no longer are able to make out some of your moves against your background.
I like that you have the names for the movements and the explanation on how to execute. It would have visually helped if you wore white so as to contrast with the trees.

Thank you for this! The names and descriptions of the moves are very helpful. Some were a tiny bit tricky to see (Hitting tiger and move right before it). I only had a tiny bit of trouble seeing if both hands moved out, but I think once the hands and arms were moved to the other side, I was able to figure it out. Very well done and your voice is very calming and pleasant to follow along in the video. Have a great day and stay healthy
Omg I just discovered your channel. I was having a panic attack before I started this exercise. By the lotus flower ending I felt such a release of emotions and started crying. That was absolutely beautiful. I feel so much peace in my heart❤❤❤

I first took Tai Chi lessons in 1979 but found it too difficult to follow, too many movements to memorize. But your Tai Chi is so easy to learn and perform. It's so smooth and effective. I have just followed this sequence for the first time. It's now my bedtime and I felt so centred and relaxed whilst I did these movements. I'm certain I'll get a good night's rest. I'm 60, with 2 hip replacements and also am living with RA, these movements are a perfect supplement to exercises that I do. Thank you, Don.

As a survivor of a pretty bed traffic accident where I was hit by a car, this Tai Chi is a fantastic return for me. I’ve been doing tai chi off and on for 30 years. Prior to the pandemic I went to group tai chi three times a week because I’m simply awful at motivating myself to do it alone. This is a terrific routine for beginners or long-time (still not advanced) folks like me. Thank you!

Don is so good at setting a meditative mood and guiding the movements. I'm grateful for finding this video. I have problems with one leg that keep me from exercising. These movements are just perfect and I feel like I've had a real workout when he is done.

Major gratitude Sir, started this routine about a year and a half ago. I'm in my early 40's with a fair share of health "hurdles". Been through about a dozen different cycles of standard P.T. and decades of "chasing pain". NOTHING has brought me anywhere near the relief I have received with this. The whole body stretching is underrated as I'm sure you are aware. I deal with a significant amount of muscle control, balance issues, and weakness/fatigue. The ability to address all of these symptoms at once, along with helping to save my limited reservoir of energy is beyond describable. Thanks doesn't even touch how grateful I am, in a way I owe my life to you/this. I have finally gotten to a point I feel "competent" and am optimistic to try other routines.
Our mission here on Earth is to help as many people as we can.

This is good for all ages. Im 40 and this is a great implementation of the 42 form into exercise
A lot of people find it more meditative than 42 form.

I came on your site today to find your 9 minute program; instead I found the 20 minute one. Good substitute for my morning walk which is on hiatus until our outdoor heat lowers considerably. We are not able to go to the gym and use the walking/running track because all gyms are closed now. This is a good program, as is the shorter one. I have been using your videos for several years as backup when I cannot do my usual activities. You do look good in black, but I agree with the previous writer about your need to wear something that will contrast better with your background on the video. My old eyes no longer are able to make out some of your moves against your background.

Thank you for this! The names and descriptions of the moves are very helpful. Some were a tiny bit tricky to see (Hitting tiger and move right before it). I only had a tiny bit of trouble seeing if both hands moved out, but I think once the hands and arms were moved to the other side, I was able to figure it out. Omg I just discovered your channel. I was having a panic attack before I started this exercise. By the lotus flower ending I felt such a release of emotions and started crying. That was absolutely beautiful. I feel so much peace in my heart❤❤❤
