- Here is a transcription of Patrick Bartley's solo on "Just One Of Those Things", from Emmet Cohen's "Live From Emmet's Place" series.
Feel free to comment with your email address if you would like me to send the original Sibelius file or a transposed score.
I spent middle and high school sitting next to this young man in a sax section.

3:33 Hot house charlie parker quote
Thanks! I’ve been looking for that lick all day
Nice
For people asking about the Eb PDF, a suggestion. I get it because I'm a saxophonist too, but it can actually be really helpful to work on transposing on your own from C as well! Do it super slowly and overtime it gets a lot easier.
I'd honestly forgo the written and learn by ear. Being able to hear something and map it to your horn is a wonderful skill!
lol for lead sheets, not 4 minute transcriptions.
I'm almost certain bar 117 is a Cannonball quote but I don't remember which recording it's from!
I know I've heard Cannonball do something like that on "Toy" with Bill Evans
That's what I thought as well-- briefly looked through it but couldnt pinpoint the exact spot@@blindblackpianist

shouldnt it be Dbm7b5, not D#m7b5? good transcription nonetheless
Chord at bar 69 is wrong. Should be C7
