Thanks for joining in with the testing yesterday ! - Great update , Hopefully Reiza Studios will one day make the cam more like iracing/Rf2 or alow more pitch before clipping in legacy mode so we can race hilly tracks
Thank you for the support
What would be game changing for Reiza is to partner with LFM ,yet for whatever reason they can't see how it would benefit the Sim. Many folk on other Sims would race this in events if added to LFM.
The camera settings are frustrating in AMS2. In VR, lock to horizon makes the car feel floaty and locked to car is too bumpy. ACC and AC NeckFX is what AMS2 needs to filter the camera
I've been playing it on and off all day, it's awesome. I think this is now my go to "it just works" sim. Doesn't need mods like AC and doesn't feel rough around the edges the way that RF2 does, and actually represents good value unlike iRacing. If someone was wanting to get into sim racing and they wanted a starting place recommendation, I think this is what I'd point them to.
Absolutely! I've barely played it but every time I have. It just works! It doesn't care that I'm trying to run VR on a 3060ti with a less than adequate cpu. It just works. Feels great. Still looks good on low-medium specs. Can even tilt the VR view down (AC/other sims don't allow) so I can makeshift a formula position with my crappy wood rig. AMS2 just does it, without really complaining
@@Squeallyweegonyeah that is amaizing.. i play AMS2 with oculus cv1 on 980ti graphic card easily.. that's what i can't imagine on AC or ACC.. the most i like about ams2 is touching with other cars is so realistic in compare to acc.. in acc if you just touch other car someone will spin and fly somewhere..
@@janker93 Hell yeah! And that's just it. A 980ti SHOULD be enough. But many developers now don't optimise their games to allow that option. Hell, look looking at EA WRC and people can't maximise it with a 4090... I noticed how the lush trees in AMS2 are sprites, you can barely notice it unless you focus on them. Little tricks like that add heaps of performance. Good stuff!
Are you feeling alright? 3 videos where you have been positive? Have you switched tea bag manufacturers?
He must’ve moved up to the Yorkshire gold.
No no no probably gone Loss Leaf T 🙄
You’re on the right track. He didn’t switch tea bags …. He just did some tea bagging to the misses 😂🎉
😂
😄👌
Great insight as always!
Nice to see you didn't ride the WRC gravy train as well. You are one of the very few who did that and didn't come unnoticed by us.
Amazing how ams2 are turning this into a real sim, even if it’s in iterations. I’ll be buying all their content to support them. Well done guys.
Honestly the handling and ffb is really good now! This is the most immersive sim atm imo.
@@TheCameltotem I bought the game it is impressive. Few more iterations on the physics It’ll be amazing. Definitely needs more feeling in pitch and weight transfer.
@@speedgoat7496 Yeah id say its not as direct and snappy as AC. However i dont think any sim has better feeling than AC lol. But for sure in a great place now!
You're right about the cars lack of suspension feeling. It's something I have said for a long time. In the custom FFB files you can increase the feeling of yaw, but as you said, that tends to mask the detail from the tyres. I think that's one of the reasons some of the cars still feel slidy, because you don't feel weight transfer as much as in other sims.
Turn up your min force. I dont know what wheel you have tho
Ive tried thunderflash mods and those cars feel way better than the standard cars in game. I swear its not the physics that feels odd, its the ffb! They just need to nail that.
@TheCameltotem Excellent point, this seems to miss the majority of ams2 players and would-be players still.
Been like that from the off. Especially when you switch between custom files a lot, cars can feel like actual different cars suddenly. Thunderflash' gt3 for instance, I imagine would connect much better for most people getting into ams2 for the first time.
(Although I have to say since 1.5.3 I LOVE what they did to the gt1 and gt3 classes. Ffb, feel of momentum, braking, tires and slip angles, the works...)
Thunderflash has thrown the towel apparantly, just came across his post on FB. Shame, I really liked his enormous roster of classes, group 5 has a special place in my heart.
All in all Reiza devs can ultimately go way deeper into stuff like tire carcass properties and the real nitty gritty details that ultimately add up to a high degree of fidelity in simulation.
I'm actually on default+ for the first time again in many, many builds and they clearly did lots of work! I can't really fault it now in any way tbh...
I've always felt that Thunderflash's 488 gt3 felt really akin to the one in ACC for some reason, maybe it's me?
Like you said, it's basically all in the ffb.
@@frankdiehl8749 Yeah when I tried the mods first time I had no real expectations but I was blown away, i thought i was on another sim at first. And yeah they feel very much like ACC in some regards, funny you mention that because I felt that too! I agree that 1.5.3 really changed it for me, the GT3 for example feels really damn good now and that felt just awful before, its not as twitchy in the ffb and feels more direct. Im confident that they will fintetune it even more going forward but I can finally say that AMS2 feels good enough now for me not to be swearing over the ffb/physics in some cases, everything feels believable.
Great to see AMS2 still improving, and especially with stuff that benefits single-player, which so many simulators see as an afterthought. I need to put more time into it but keep going back to AC1 as I'm so used to it. I think if I was starting now, I might go with AMS2 simply because it looks a lot better out of the box, without messing around with mods, and has AI that won't ram you off the road constantly (unlike AC1).
Cmon man you couldnt cut the part where i spun and crashed into you. Had a blast playing last night thanks for the host!
If you use high aggression instead of full they will have personal levels of aggression. Highest aggression will be the same over the entire field.
A lot of hype on youtube around the recent updates to AMS2. And GM likes it, I might have to buy this :)
For around $50 with the discounts this surpasses Forza in almost every way, if what you care about is good racing with AI instead of driving around in circles for 4 hours to unlock a part for your car.
If the silly GAME CHANGING hype is what this game needs to keep being updated, so be it. I do commend Reiza on the continued improvements to the game and I only hope they keep doing it.
Forza and GT are different types of games. They are car RPG games. Not comparable.
I always thought A.C handeling was naf. Most cars would understeer terribly and some top tear cars wouldn't handle like they would. Some good cars but overall naf. That could be my personal preference. I've got 2 super karts in real life and done some rallying and always driven rear wheel drive cars . And I find Automblista much more real especially wheight transfer entering corners ❤.. but each to their own and at the end of the day it's about an individuals fun level 👍
AC physics are unrealistic, see drifting. Well documented, well known and well confirmed by real drivers like Nicki Thiim.
The new content is free for the weekend! Thanks for your thoughts and video GM. Now if Reiza would just add A UDP and flag warning system, Add option to turn off ghosting and fix the pit stop frame stutters...These have been a request for years. AMS2 is a real fun sim to experience even more now. It seems so after every improvement and update.
While not in the opinion zone I am impressed by what I've tried of the update so far. Cars I liked before are now good to the point I'd choose them over AC for some fun single player action and am encouraged to explore the great track content more. The car content is for me a bit uneven still. You might say it's too wide. Franco.
4min in and we have first iRacing rant in the video. Gotta love the GMV content
Dear James West 😁, I agree with you about almost everything but custom files. I've developed a custom file (FullFFB, it's in Reiza relevant forum) with Moza R12+FSR (same as you?) and I can really say the cars are much more alive with it than with Default+. ** Try it or else I'll take away the tea from you!! ** What Portugueses give, Portugueses can take away 🤣
Why don't you post your file here my friend?
AMS2 is a great game. It's cool to see so many good reviews coming out of it with this latest release.
I'm excited to try the new active suspension F1 cars. I don't recall any other game having those cars with the active suspension actually modelled in them.
I don't remember the sim, but there was a racing game once that would automatically increase or decrease the difficulty of the AI depending on how well you did. I'd love to see a "testing" mode like that in AMS2 that let you figure out the best AI difficulty for you specifically.
Could be RaceRoom. It has adaptive difficulty.
It's RaceRoom, very good sim. @@piotrgti96
I think dirt rally 2 does this as well
I LOVE this update the formula hitech is AMAZING, they are a joy to drive, the stick like glue to the track :D
Yea, this is the game for me. To many people just want to run you off the road instead of actually race properly.
AMS 2 is great
FUN FACTOR 120
Thank you 👏👏👏👏
Steam ASM 2 quote
"The two new DLCs pages are live on Steam however they will remain free for all users through the weekend until a minor complementary update on Monday so everyone gets to enjoy the new content"
I finally decided to pick up AMS2 the other day. It’s the last of the big four I’ve yet to give any playtime to. I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s fun. Extremely so. Far more than what I was expecting, which prompted me to go back and buy all the content. Only real criticism I have is some of the cars have transmissions that don’t behave exactly like they do in real life (SuperV8’s sequential, and any other older F1 car’s transmission) but this is forgivable.
Hey gm could you share your Moza pithouse settings for ams2 ? I'm finding it a massive struggle to find a suitable setting. Would be absolute mega.
See my message to James West... try my FullFFB (it's in Reiza forum). The only thing I changed was max torque to 75%. I cannot get Default+ to my satisfaction, seems slow and overreacting.
I recently joined the depravation... I think real life is highly overrated anyway. I very much enjoy your content, so, thank you!
Just been trying this new update. I had a big right front lockup and the FFB felt like I'd flat spotted it. Or, did I imagine it?
I'm having so much fun and intensity watching the AI fighting each other in the rearview mirror until they find the opportunity to take over not just the guy behind GM but also GM himself very cleanly. That's insane.
If you like to race with a friend who's skill is a mismatch with yours, I find this the best way to be on the same track with them. You both can end up with a bunch of cars to battle, the game is cheap, feels alive, and it just bloody works. It was already class-leading for racing against AI with friends, and now it's even further ahead.
nah just bought and tried it, there is no road feed back from the wheel, feels so dull. just drives weird. still has that project car feel
Bravo!! This is a good and fair judgment video on how far AMS 2 has get on it's way to become the "perfect sim", right now!
Would it be possible to get your ffb settings? Thanks
Driving old f1 with your friend is so fun
Now you can feel the tyres are biting when warmed up.
Good physics and good engine sound.
If there would be modding in it then it wd be number one simgame.
Purchased all the DLC to support Reiza. It's funny how modern devs don't appear to send a copy in advance to any channel that's even objectively critical in any way.
Thank you for the video!
James have you tried the ThunderFlash car mods for AMS2?
The Z4 GT3 is fun to drive for sure (haven't tried many other, but this one is ok in slow tracks - I tested it a lot at Londrina Short)
A more slidey rf2 is the best definition of AMS2.
Good people from the internet - does AMS2 supports single player championship mode and multiclass racing?
Yes, it does both
It has championship modes, yes, and I think you can customize your own. Also multiclass. However, a "career mode" is still yet to come.
Thank you frens, will have to check it out :)
Yes I completely agree on the suspension! Compare the MC23 in RF2 , you have to load the front tyres with the weight transfer to get it to grip. In this as you said it's flat, the weight transfer doesn't load up the tyres. One they get that sorted it will be brilliant.
AI issue on longer racers, they race everyone with when being lapped. I did long race on max AI, sitting 3rd. Gifted a the win thanks to the leaders being blocked by lapped cars.
When reza started working with old pc2 team many positive updates came the 1.5 and now this. They making together gtr revival right now with people who maked project cars 2 i think this collab very good based pc2 and ams2 use same madness engine
How is the multiplayer?
Is it good?
rubish
AMS2 I would say is the new king.
Sadly not for online racing, everyones still on the iRacing Covid Train boom. rFactor 2 has opened a lot of eyes with their new ranking system so maybe one day we will see AMS2 grow.
In terms of the slidy feeling of the handling, I'd say give it time. Reiza are still rooting out the Project Cars 2 code so over time, with gradual improvements, I think they'll get there.
30s in and you hadn't said 'game changer' yet. Had me worried for a moment.
Great to hear good feedback on this update though. I've been too obsessed with rF2 to do any driving on AMS recently. Sounds like I should get back to it.
The update should help the racecraft online servers, as that system uses AI when numbers are low.
Another important aspect to enjoy driving in a sim, is to set up your wheel correctly which in my case seems difficult cause I'm new to dd wheels and don't know shit (moza r12)
I looked in discord but looks like a total chaos in there
This is true. Took me almost 2 years with DD to figure out how to set it up correctly. Went through dozen of settings from discord and internet and everything felt off. Now after setting it up I can't stop driving and I considrer myself addicted.
@nmelol Oh man I hope to find some good settings for Ac / Acc and Rr3
Jumping after 13 years from a belted wheel base (t300) to a dd wheel seems difficult
I'm really happy for you though
@@FataL-Gr ACC has poor ffb by itself so don't chase something you will never catch. AC is the benchmark for ffb quality. Learn there. I have no experience with moza so I can't recommend anything.
@nmelol yeah I never liked ACC's ffb also, on the other hand AC has the best ffb for me (compared to any other sim title)
Was sceptical but this update is fricken great. Yes, not perfect on every car (what is?) but its really gooooood! Really enjoyable ! Believe the hype (for once)
Just picked this up last week with the Season 2020-22 DLC and it's awesome. The tracklist is extensive with the DLC (only buy on sale, I'd say), and the AI is pretty good. There's only like 3 cars in this game I want to drive but it's still 5000x more fun than Forza for the AI alone.
Oh god I'm going to have to bloody install it again aren't i?
It's finally the best sim of 2019!
Only took 5 years !
Just like iRacing is the best 2009 sim, or rFactor 2 the best 2013 one. I don't get why only AMS2 is not allowed to evolve.
@@Brenooliveira0024 /sarcasm
Default + FFB should introduce 'more info' in the FFB but you're probably using that already. Also a buttkicker is great with ams2, love the extra feedback
See my posts here, that's what I did with FullFFB custom file. I turned off my "buttkickers" to tune that file (so it doesn't inflence my fine tunning decisions) but when I turn it on again, it's yet another level... 😀
Fanakek sponsored but MOZA Gear, absolutely sympathic Dude 🤣
The AI at best has slightly improved and is still terrible. Another update another let down! Do a 50 minute race at Daytona in the dpi’s. Full tank of fuel required plus a pit stop, the AI cars set the same lap times every lap, only the players lap times are affected by the weight of the fuel and the AI destroy you for 10 laps until your tank drops to under 50% and then you can catch them. Absolute crap!
Perhaps that's a bug. Surely, it's easy to correct that problem! 😉
@@jopereirapt it’s definitely a bug. As soon as I turn fuel useage off, I had fun races on a level playing field.
I watched the hours of testing by GM...have to say..now I know a lot more about British politics and the brixit ❤😂
Not too long neither too optimistic. If criticism is given where criticism is due, credit must be given where credit is due. They simply did a lot of good work, and it is showing. Considering that Reiza and others Sim developers are indie studios, I believe this should be considered in the context of the bigger picture. They need to find a balance between cash flow and content quality and hence sometimes we get things that are not high quality. But that doesn't mean they won't fix things, just means they need to allocate resources in different manner. They don't have infinite money like Microsoft. Forza for instance, this don't have to much excuses for being so low in quality.
What happened here? So much positivity, I almost unsubscribed. 🤪
Reiza making the HYPE real again. 👏👏
Honestly , I don't know what you're driving , Porsche wise ! You claim the cup cars are some of the best . Great I thought, as a real world 911 owner (Track days) But , I'm afraid they are also terrible driving, physics models . They still, as all the others I've tried skid and skate over the track when turning into corners , and all you have to do is turn your wheel more or harder and around you go ....lol This was achieved through Spa , which is my usual test track , for obvious reasons . There just feels like no connection with the surface . Joking aside , this is I'm afraid the worst driving , sim out there for me , and anyone who thinks I'm wrong please feel free to try R factor 2 or ACC , with the 992 Cup and see where it gets you ! A trip to the kitty litter ..Those who are waxing lyrical about this update , are influenced heavily by a large dose of placebo , and this update has failed yet again to deliver on the absolute essentials of a driving simulator !! The actual driving .
What is the point in all the bells and whistles in the world if you cannot get the basics right . I like many others applaud all the hard work the devs have put in , and maybe it is simply the Madness engine ?
It's at best , a sophisticated Arcade game , and it really pains me to say this !!
After update the game won't load after pressing start any advise I'm one week into being PC owner
Verify integrity of the game files in Steam
is this game heavy on graphics?
I can never use lock to horizon, always feels unnatural to me in vr in any game.
yah unfortunately , lock to horizon is only way to filter out bumps and vibrations in lots of games
I downloaded the demo and tried to play it in VR. Had to figure out the double view (no overlap) issue first. Then I couldn't configure my SimuCUBE 1 wheel and HE Ultimate pedals.I gave up and uninstalled it.
The demo is said to be a vastly older version than the current release unfortunately.
You're better off getting the full game and testing it for a couple of hours before possible steam refund. The demo is extremely old at this point and has missed most of the work Reiza have done since release.
I almost didn't buy the game a few years back after playing the Demo . It's an old glitchy version of the game that really needs an update. If Reiza doesn't plan to update it, they should just pull it completely. It does zero justice to the real game.
In the full game the Simucube 1 and 2 now both show up in the Controller options out of the box.
I didn’t buy it for months because of the poor demo and it’s not representative of the game as it is now and its wealth of content.
he keeps comparing ams2 with forza and gran turismo. i thought ams2 was supposed to be a sim? and forza/ gran turismo were simcade, or am i out of the loop and that is no longer the case?
It is a bit confusing, he specified in the stream he puts AMS2 in the sim group with RF2, AC, whatever else. Not sure about the Forza and GT thing.
It's because AMS2 is a simcade like forza. AMS1 is pure sim with rfactor1 engine.
In previous version GM would not consider AMS2 as a proper sim title. With this update, GM now considers it to 'be in the bucket' with the hardcore sim titles. It is much better than Forza and GT, he his saying that if those games drove like this game, they would be much better, and if they had AI as good as this game. AMS2 is now a newly considered 'SIM'.
@@abuelb I agree AMS1 physics with better graphics would be better then AMS2. Just crazy they didn't for for for the RF2 engine trying to optimize that.
I like how they release updates to 10,000 streamers and let them debug the release while the same streamers claim 'exclusive' early access?
There are different builds of the game , some developer won't want people to show or talk about early , some will be a preview of a release version the developer has given permission to talk about publicly.
That's what RUclipsrs r normally referring to when they say exclusive preview.
Rfuktor FFB custom file is the way to go. Don't remember which one I'm using but they are nice to experiment with in the custom file. Your previous video turned me onto those.
I don't know why but if I play AMS 2 only for a few days it feels good after that but If I play Raceroom or rFactor 2 I see all the flaws AMS2 has. I feel that the sim has all that it needs on paper but on track fail to deliver.
Agreed, but I haven't tried the new update. Been addicted to RaceRoom past month, and damn does it feel good. Previously AMS2 felt delayed, off, and not quite connected. The 'seat of pants' feeling was never there, connection of roll was never there, and the 'fear factor' was never there. In RaceRoom, some combos I legit feel like i'm afraid to wreck if I don't concentrate. Gonna try the update today. 😯😯😯😯
@@Username_Invalid that's completly true. For me the issue is mid corner. The car feel like when you enter the curve and holding clutch through it and that feel is persistent while driving front wheel drive car in real life. This feeling is present in rear drive cars in AMS2, most noticeably in Porsche Cup car.
On the other hand none of the other simulators does this while driving Porsche Cup car. Raceroom has nailed this car completly, the feel of the car was outstanding in particular situations where physics matters. First corner of Brands Hatch show all the flaws of the physics in every sim, try AMS2 and Raceroom one after another and all will be clear.
If Raceroom had dynamic weather and 24h cycle... :)
it takes years of polishing to make racing game good. My hopes for AC2 being best racing game in 2024 are fading
Does AMS2 support triple screen?
Yes it does
I love ams2 lol I just moved over from console, and out of all the sims this feels the least janky
What is the VR like?
Out of the box its the best in the market. Can only be bettered by Assetto Corsa (not competizione) with Pure, CSP and decent track mods. At that point AC runs and looks better, but not by too much.
@@tabs1913 what do the track mods do? Are they most visual upgrades?
I just got my wheel this weekend. Downloaded AC and played a little but all I have is the shader pack and the real head motion mod to make VR more realistic. It already looks amazing.
What's the ai like guys? I haven't raced multiplayer for ages but looking for a SIM with strong ai that makes mistakes and isnt stuck to rails
it pretty good but like many sims it messes up now and then and you get a big AI pile up. but I would say the AI is better than most sim. You can even get a little battle going with cars but yeah its not on the level of online multiplayer's any time soon. I find RF2 pretty good mostly.
Please mention WHAT update you are on instead of "new update". Is it 1.5.3 Beta?
1.5.3 is out for the public. This is that.
Does it contain Le Mans?
not yet, but they announced le mans a while back...
@@willhraf I know. That's the reason i'm waiting for it every day. But it rather will become a paid dlc i think.
Wololo! You liek ams2 now
Am2 will only succeed when it has a good Mp system.
IMHO I dislike the car handling in ams2 after playing rfactor2
Who are you and what have you done to the real gamer muscle? Why are you drinking coffee?
brb going to buy some salmon
This is a good update, most cars feel a lot better now. It wont be taking over rFactor2 as my main sim anytime soon but I feel this is closer to what was expected two of three updates ago. The fact Reza have a tire model that feels way better than iRacing and an ACC deserves more appreciation.
I also said that (I love rF2), but right now, I have 975h in rF2 and 933h in AMS2 😁.
@@jopereiraptRF2 still feels more refined and a little more connected to the road, but ams2 is not far off at all, the devs seem to have the passion to keep improving this sim so I would not be surprised if it surpasses RF2 in a few years, If Reza could get official content and more accurate tracks with a good ranked system they will grow very quickly
@@JallyTee AMS2 lacks better car inertia, better will to rotate/spin after a given slip angle and slightly better head movement (I've open a request for that). It has many other things better than rF2 that gives a lot of joy like FCY, real time weather, damage model, etc.
Happy Banging foreheads with salmon 🎣
Still feels a little arcadey to me
It does drive as if there is always some form of stability controll on and the physics are in slow motion , but it is fun so I think that's the main thing.
Are you nocturnal?
I stopped watching before the inevitable rant.
I’d like this to get its online 💩 together.
Just tested and all you said about handling are true. AMS2 is the only sim that I only boot when there is an update to see what changed. Don't care about new cars and track and graphic and AI , just about the driving experience and it's still not here. It's seems OK if it's the only sim you play .They are trying to round the angles with updates but there is still an elephant in the room. The car are still like floaty and pivoting around the center. The connection between the wheel to the tires and the tires to the road still need work. The Gt3 drive like there is not enough downforce. The Ffb is good tho. It's funny to see that after 4 years if we count early access, AMS2 is still working on handling and physic to reach a sim standard and beta titles like Rennsport are almost reaching those standards after few months.
I checked it out yesterday and GT3 cars still drift around and are extremely easy to catch. Any kind of countersteer works. Still no skill required.
New F1 cars are equipped with infinite tyre grip hack. I was just checking out 1991 Inteerlagos in Senna's McLaren and by accident beaten his qualy time by 0,5s - it's ridiculous.
It is defo on the Arcady side. Rfactor 2 is still my go to.
Have you checked if excessive drifting becomes unfeasible with damage enabled? You mentioned that tyres may not get damaged with spinning when damage is disabled which allows excessive overdriving.
had tire ware on normal with GT1 and you could still drive around mental without it seeming to do much , same driving in RF2 would have wrecked tires in 6 laps
this is great!!!
Game changer or just Changed Game
F1 2022 cars are now harder to drive.
Yes and Yes.....😎
That evaluation was done under the influence of too much of excellent Early Grey… yes, it significantly improved open wheelers. Also Caterhams are much better now. GT3‘s though still a mess. It feels like driving a Rallye Car on gravel. The 911 is a bit better though. AI is ok, but very slow, I beat them on 100% with a breeze. Graphics are the biggest improvement for me: crisp images now (did not change any video settings), like iRacing but with more colors :-D.
I'm 54yo and I often need +115 Ai to get a decent race. I would like one of these: 1.A more difficult driving experience or 2. Ai settings to 140% so I can see an endless road ahead 😁
👍
AI are better but it’s still has the same disconnect feel to me.
Who races ai in a sim rig ??
Me! 😁
What!! You say the FFB is atrocious in ACC... and that AMS2 is far nicer to drive than ACC?.
You are talking out of your arse if that's your assessment
Great argument
He's either not playing the same version of ACC as the rest of us or his Moza direct drive wheel settings are just very wonky and are masking all the feel.
@@somecallmetim42 Drive a GT3 in rFactor2 then jump into ACC... if you can't feel the difference your wheelbase might be a potato.
@@JallyTee I just don’t get on with RF2, it doesn’t feel very natural to me. The handling physics and FFB in ACC on the other hand is the closest to real life (which is also backed up by drivers of the real thing like James Baldwin) GM has made many comments about the FFB in ACC in that he’s not feeling the tyres on limit which I’m certain is just down to his wheel settings. The other issue he has is that he doesn’t even drive a real car himself and has only had a few goes in one so his idea of good FFB differs to those of us with actual experience. A number of games try to add extra forces to the FFB to convey car movement and although this might help a sim racer like GM understand how the car is behaving it is not realistic and feels very unnatural if you are used to the steering feel in a real car. ACC goes with the approach of replicating only the steering forces you’d get in a real car so it actually feels like you are driving a real car.
I don’t know which end they came out of, but his words made sense to me!
First
I'm going to ask this one more time because i have yet to receive a proper response.
When you call is "AMS 2"...
I get that the "A" is for "Auto" and the "M" is for "Mobilista".
Now, what the hell is the "S" for???
People have typed AMS1 and AMS2 for years , so thats just become the way to refer to it and thats how language works if "£$"£$"" was used to refer to a thing then when people say "£$"£$" people will know what they are talking about. maybe AM1 AM2 would make more sense but AMS1 and AMS2 is what people have always said lol
@@GamerMuscleVideos Well, Automobilista is a single word in Portuguese, not a composition of words, so... AutoMobiliSta should be rational behind it, I guess. 🤔
Yeah, only 1 word, it would be strange to call it just A1 and A2... Probably people would think we would be talking about paper sizes 🤔
AMS1 official name is Automobilista Motorsport Simulator, hence AMS
