13:48 Vietnam is a tropical country with hot, humid climate. There is no snow in winter in mostly territory, except only two high mountainous areas in the north of Vietnam, they are Sapa (Lào Cai province) and Mẫu Sơn mountain peak (Lạng Sơn province). They are only 2 places in Vietnam to get snow from time to time in winter. Snowfalls last for around 1-3 days in the coldest months between the mid-December and early Jan. In Sapa, frosts are frequent during the winter and mist shrouds the area. Fansipan peak in Sa Pa, saw frost as the temperature dropped below zero degrees
Only took 2 months...what happened guys? I was sooo looking forward to see how you managed the apartment hunt. What did you eventually find and what have you learned in the process? Enjoy you're videos.
Hi Andy, we have an apartment hunt video here ruclips.net/video/-5qyGk7oDjQ/видео.html We took a break on RUclips so I could write more travel guides for my website. But I do still post regularly on my Instagram @meloolga and send updates via mailing list olgapronkina.com/news/. Thanks for sticking around 😊
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces This is a problem for the purchase of plane tickets. If I want to buy my plane ticket now for a departure to Hanoi around July 20 (for example), I cannot take the risk of choosing a ticket with a travel duration of 40 or 45 days (ex. July 20 and return August 31) because there is no guarantee that the extension of the visa will be formalized in mid-July. So, if the visa, when I arrive in Vietnam, is only authorized for a period of only 1 month maximum, the Vietnamese customs officers in Hanoi or Saigon will refuse me entry.

Random question - what is the shopping for clothes like? Asian closes are always really small sizes.
online shopping is your best friend :)
Good
Is it ok for hotels to hold your passport until you check out?
No. You can leave them a copy or a money deposit if they are asking for it.
When will the 90 day visa be offered again ??? Thanks in advance.
We will have to ask the Vietnamese Government, stay tuned 😉

Can a foreigner buy a used scooter? It’s cheaper to buy than rent if you stay in VN long term.
Yes, they can look out for tourists leaving Vietnam. Go to bike rental places
👍🙂🙋👏
Ho Chi Minh committed a brutal màss-murder of landlords in North Vietnam in the 1950s. Even Ken Burns showed this of Ho.
