Yes to the first part, but the second part is misleading. Cancer rates are up so high in no small part because modern medicine has gotten so good at treating *everything else* that more and more people are living long enough to get cancer! Because the older you get, the more genetic damage you've accumulated over your life, so the higher your chances of cancer become. So cancer rates being up 80% sounds really scary but is actually partially good news, because it means more people are living to become that old!

I wouldn't swap out football practice time for dance lessons but I think the exercises for dance disciplines have been seriously underrated in fitness spaces for a long time and that needs to change.
@@tommygunn2782 @RainbowKarmaDOfficial I think the best position here is that football COACHES take time to work with DANCE INSTRUCTORS in a private setting where the dance instructors teach the football coaches a large and balanced assortment of drills, stretches, and exercises for hip strength, mobility, and control, and then the football coaches in turn practice and master those movements themselves and incorporate those exercises into their football coaching. Dance instructors could also come up with hip strength and mobility programs and consult privately with sports teams. Lots of gymnastics and dance studios have a separate "flexibility class" several times a week that athletes and parents alike can attend. That way time isn't being wasted with athletes practicing dance moves and dance routines when what they actually need are to practice the drills that dancers do to get better at those movements.

@@leebaby8693 😊 Fundamentally, yes. However, _tighten up_ is a phrasing more colloquially used to mean, get your head (thinking) right (focused) to increase evidence of discipline (good choices), which creates better results. We need strong muscles that are also supple (flexible). Balance is key 🔑. Many of us are focused on strength but forget to stretch & relax to help to "let go," so the energy can actually flow & support greater health. We use the term _energy_ very loosely, in current times, but too many of us, unfortunately, don't really seem to connect the dots. Thoughts & Emotions actually have a physical presence & that presence is mostly evident in our muscles. Our muscles & cells specifically hold those thoughts and emotions & physically cause stress (inflammation) in the body. Intentionally releasing those excessive thoughts & emotional loads is imperative to well health and stretching is a very simple thing that most of us can do (on our own), in some way, to release those excessive thoughts & emotional imprints; thus, helping to improve our mobility, mood & overall wellbeing. 💜

What’s cool about it , is the concentration of muscles ;as you can tell they have their tongues out, but not in a way to where they’re tired but in a way as they’re being precise in what muscles they’re body channels. It’s natural but In this case being aware can def save a lot of stress

Dog pee tree
stanky legs
Bullshit
As a former ballet dancer watching this, it's wild that they are sweating doing this and this was everyday for me lol. Now do it with a smile on your face. Welcome to my pain lol.
LOVE the first man's TONGUE!! 😂 Body is not supposed to move so his TONGUE is doing it for him!!! (I do the same!!!!!!😂)
This was also included when I ran track in college. Now I'm stiff and practicing it again to regain some mobility while I workout at the gym. It's friggin crucial
We all need to do this starting with me. I hear about so many hip surgeries at earlier and earlier ages
It’s giving ballet with a busted retire but I’m here for it ❤
Just stood up and tried this (bracing the desk instead of power rack rail so leaned a little) and my glutes were on fire! Definitely something to incorporate, as I work at my desk all day. Thanks for the video! 🤙
Looks like they are
doing some ballet warm up moves, very
nice!!!💐💐💐💐💫
The big guys making faces😂
Big ranga bloke 3 down 😂 fighting for his life
What’s the hack? Go back in time?
Exactly bruv ! it is the time machine that you just have witnessed
What’s cool about it , is the concentration of muscles ;as you can tell they have their tongues out, but not in a way to where they’re tired but in a way as they’re being precise in what muscles they’re body channels. It’s natural but In this case being aware can def save a lot of stress
This is like BALLET. That’s why it is the foundation of dance!
Welcome to good burger 🍔 home of the good burger 🤣
😂😂
Will be adding this to my training! Thank you!
That's nice and all now try that WITHOUT holding on to anything THEN WE CAN TALK💯
thankful every day that i grew up doing martial arts and dance and did them until i was 23 because of this. 30 now and mostly run and lift, but i make sure to practice these same exercises with the barre in my gym and kicking bags at least once a week
My son was taught this around 11 an 12yrs of his young beautiful life. I feel kinda bad for these men but they are trying so they should be alright if they keep it going hard.❤
Thank you! I had stiff left hip pain, I did this exercise, I heard a pop and I can barely feel the pain anymore.
I just did that and it got a stretch that ive been needing. 🥴🥰 Thank you!
I started professional rugby at 18 (now 37) and all we did was lift as heavy as possible without anything this to compensate or prepare us for it.
Unsurprisingly, most retired early and are/have been plagued with injuries and chronic problems.
Yeap..macho mind! Uh, hurts? Better? The knee is destroyed? Put vandages on it.
But I tell you something. Is the same with little girls in gimnastic. They dont care how many get broken, there are allways more. They just need half a dozen who survives
during my kung fu days, i totally took this for granted. 20 years later i can still wiggle like an octopus at my jiujitsu gym. hip mobility is a game changer
learning how to do all kinds of kicks will help mobility
This is why ballet is so good for football players. Parents of little football players should also get them into ballet classes.
I immediately thought of ballet class growing up. Lol
This is legitimately life changing for me, thank you!
Perfect timing!!! My right hip has been hurting a lot lately…I will definitely be trying this!!! I’ve had a cortisone injection…my hip laughed at that. Went to therapy…it help….now will try this…hopefully it will loosen up the stiffness. Start slow and see how it goes!!!
Doing mobility work is changing my life❗️
Bro at the front is exercising his tongue. 😂
Now you know we have all been the dude in the front moving his tongue around. Full focus engaged.😂
This is why most varsiyy players in my high school did beginner dance on their off seasons! It used to only be basketball & soccer players, but a couple football players even joined dance clubs by my senior year & my best friend played & performed during his senior year homecoming game ❤
I know the U15 local hockey team now does a team hot yoga class with my instructor. Mobility is a pillar in staying injury free, not to mention the mental health aspect of the practice
omg yes! my grandparents rly struggle w hip mobility rn. i think hips, backs, and knees are probably the main things uve got to maintain if u want to be able to get out of ur house to do fun things when ur older.
Seeing almost the whole team in VS Athletics lifters is sick, very good shoe
I’m glad I’m into skateboarding I feel like it naturally helps w hip mobility
Thats why getting your kids into Karate or Tae Kwon Do early can help with hip flexibility/mobility, strengthen the core and balance. A lot of those kicks, especially in Tae Kwon Do, takes a lot of coordination of strength and flexibility of the hips and the balance part strengthens those stabilizer muscles and core. The younger you do this the better.
Also ballet it teaches a lot of coordination, strength, control and discipline
I just found something I been needing lmao thank you
I'm 51 & my hip mobility is like the young man!😂😂😂😂 Thanks to #gymnastics and stretching. Hip mobility is so important, especially as we age.
You men need this in Jr high
Bands are pretty good too
Glad you showed us the little boy. If I just watched the grownups, I would not know what they were trying to achieve.
That second one, yeah he gone need it
They never taught flexability in football in highschool for me. Now im all jacked up. Cant stress this enough
This channel is YT gold 😤💪
Trust me, they will appreciate this as they get older. Keep up the great job 💪
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
