Thanks so much.. I'm really enjoying these records, I got an amazingly low price for all of them, as the fellow was passing on his collection to a good home which happens to be... Me !!! Haha 😉 I think I'll go pull a record out of one of those cool cases and enjoy !
John, I’ve just come back to Thailand, visiting family in the U.K. Very cool seeing this record collection, it’s so similar to mine. My collection is in 3 different houses of my kids. So weird to see this after my U.K. visit. I have a lot of what you showed, also have a large 45’s collection, mostly 1960’s 70’s 😊 I used to record shop all over London back in the 70’s so have a treasure trove of singles. Would loved to have met the guy that originally owned these!
Haha.. Sounds familiar in that my records are in 3 different rooms ! Roy.. This fellow was great to meet up with at his home here in Reno. He was British Army during the "troubles" in '79. I believe he was a Londoner until him and his wife moved to the US in 1981. All of these came over with them, and some added over here in Nevada where they settled. We played guitar together.. He was a busker in and around London !

I'm glad you like The Dead, Rob.. some don't get it. Growing up out here, they're common place to the music scene.. Although NY and East Coast Dead are some of the most hard-core fans in the world !!! I got lucky on this one, and am treasuring these records. It's been nice having you stop by, Rob ! I noticed Supra Wes watches you.. He was one of my first channels that I watched.. Topper, Bob Bradley, Vinyl Rundown, Dillon and The Vinyl Douch ! Haha.. Talk soon, and thanks so much 🎵
Just fantastic Jt. Those records found a great home where they will be cherished and listened to for many years to come. Great collection of singers. Got really excited when I saw those Chickenshack albums. I have some of those in British pressings, that was superb. Cheers and enjoy.
Pretty cool, huh Jack ! I'm loving these records, and a few of The Dead albums are upgrades to mine. I love finding that Chicen Shack w / Christine on it. The UK Little Feat records are perfect, as are most of these.. The 45's are too cool for school ! Haha🎵
Hi JT!!! awesome UK additions to the collection congrats and well deserved.... so cool to see now you have records you were really looking after and for a fair price too.... i can picture you listening to see records for an entire month and not doing a video, lol. cheers and be well
That's what I did, 6 weeks along with other listening in between. It's my best haul ever, Cristian.. Because I watch all of those guys over in the UK, and I always think.. I want those ! Haha.. I mean, all the other records I have been getting are almost as good, just the sheer volume of this many UK records in one grouping.. Is insanely good !
Thanks ! Even folks that don't like The Dead.. those records are valuable. I did good, and I couldn't turn this one down. He gave me a very low and fair price because he knows that I will keep and enjoy these awesome records ! Part 2 in a couple of weeks 🎵 Cheers
I'm online before bed.. In the video, I said Made in England, UK press, and British wax and / or records so many times, it became redundant... But they almost all are ! What a kind gesture from that gentleman, and very, very fair on the price, Dale, I'm loving these classic records 👍 Thanks
Wow!! JT you scored so big.. I am very happy for you.. I hope you take the time and just be in spin heaven my friend… I hope all is well and again such a killer collection you stumbled on to.. Enjoy my friend🤗
When I got this call , I had already had 5 or 6 good batches of records that I had acquired recently. This one was to good to be true, and I have the room anyhow ! Craig, great to hear from you, and thanks for looking in on this one 🎵
Wow, JT, you somehow beat Bill and Ted's records with this collection. Amazing!!! I guess you can still find good stuff if in the right place and the right time. Pretty nice 👌
Yep.. I got lucky ! He watched a video or two of mine and felt I might be the one to turn his collection over to. I love my records, and I don't sell, so far. Maybe in a couple of years, I'm enjoying everything way too much to start any movement on my records 🎵 Thanks !
I had to watch it again to see those great albums. I once had a seller at a yard sale take a liking to me and just started giving me albums because she liked my passion for records. I got some really good and valuable stuff for nothing. It has never happened since.
So awesome ! Folks can sense if we are here for the music versus the money. Nothing wrong with selling, but.. I will honor this guys collection for as long as I can ! Part 2 in a couple of weeks I was spinning a UK " Beggars Banquet"our of this haul, just this morning.. Sounds amazing ! Thanks, Harry
That collection was taken care of extremely well! Great Ziggy Stardust! Beautiful copy of Aladdin Sane! Those Parlophone Beatles are amazing. Those record cases are the coolest! They make great decorative pieces in any music room! Cream, Jefferson Airplane, WOW great to have UK pressings of those two super groups! Never been a fan of The Dead but those are sure nice to have for someone who is! Fleetwood Mac that’s not Rumors?! What?! lol. That’s a great early FM. Did the UK pressings of The Beatles White Album? Nice acquisition, JT.
Yeah.. I'm just on of millions of Dead fans. I like Contry, bluegrass, Americana, Country rock, Country blues of all types. My low numbered White album is UK.
I'm a massive fan of earl FM and their ' Wilderness Years. As a matter of fact.. Fans resented the commercial sell-out at first,( 1975 ) and we missed the old line up with Danny Kirwan, Bob Welch and Peter Green before they blew up !
JT, great UK collection from your friends buddy! The Beatles, the Dead, all killer stuff. Cool to see at least one Doors record. Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
In part 2.. I think I have more Doors ! This guy really did me a solid, and I will treasure this score, and school my son on these, hopefully. I held off showing these, wanted to do some good listening first ! Peace, brother.. Cheers from Nevada 🌐
Crazy haul JT. I love that Dr Feelgood. I’m always on the hunt for a mono copy of ‘Down By The Jetty’ Hard to find nowadays. Those Dynaflex sounds great. That’s one of the lowest White albums I’ve seen..would love to hear that. I’ve got a numbered top opening stereo
I was just spinning a pristine UK copy of " Beggars Banquet" this morning from one of the other boxes. I listened to " Down By The Jetty" 10 minutes ago.. Killer tune, and I need one of those as well.. I love Wilco and Lee Dr. Feelgood Rules ! I love these records, Harris.. oldies but goodies 🎵
Yeah Man ! I did good.. It was so good that I was nervous when we negotiated, and I wanted his collection badly.. Appreciative that he let me have these wonderful records ! Thank you
Hi JT - real nice haul. I notice the Floyds Ummagumma. Nice - but the one you really want is the "GIGI" sleeve. Thats the album cover with the Gigi soundtrack album lying on the floor under the window. Next time eh? lolol. Cya Doug
Sounds good, but I am very pleased with this UK Harvest Ummagumma. It plays like a dream as well. The only PF I am missing now on vinyl is.. The debut ! Thanks, Doug
Yes, Silvio.. They are in great condition, and the sonics on these are fantastic ! Good to hear from you, and thanks for checking this out 🎵 I'm lovin' these !
Gorgeous view JT. Makes up a bit for not being near the ocean (which would freak me out. When I was in Denver and thought about how far away the Ocean was I felt claustrophobic or something like it). Wow, great record collection. I love that Some Girls copy (which I have, Christmas present from sibling in 1978). I never remember to introduce myself to Little Feat. Ron Cobb Jefferson cover 😊 (political cartoonist). Can’t beat that Parlophone label. Oh look at the Byyyyrds 45’s! I love that old CBS logo so much. Oooh, Fairport Convention, wish I’d dived deeper into their music. Great video JT. Thanks.
Thanks, Morten ! The good news about Reno.. The Pacific Ocean is a 3 hour drive west over Donner Summit through Sacramento in California's central valley. From there, it's very close. We were just in Sonoma County on the ocean ( Bodega Bay ), where Alfred Hitchcock's " The Birds" was filmed.
Right.. Denver is too land- locked. It's nice here out west and in the northern part of Nevada/ California. Right over that mountain that I filmed in the intro ( 50 minutes from my house ) .. Is beautiful Lake Tahoe ! It is very big and looks a bit like Hawaii in the mountains ! Spectacular body of water 🌈
@@jtsrecordroom3963 «Hitchcock would be proud» as Adam the Woo keeps saying. Yeah, 3 hours isn’t too bad. You could go see the Athletics over in Sacramento for the next few years 😄 Man I miss baseball…
Great haul. That is a once-in-a-lifetime score and I really love the 45's and those nice cases. I always like seeing Graham Parker. I like the album Lonnie Donegan did with Van Morrison.
Randy, I am pleased that you mentioned Lonnie Donegan ! Over the pond, as you well know.. He influence so many of our favorite famous bands, it's unreal, actually ! The Stones, The Beatles.. So many ! I thought of you when I saw my Graham Parker LP.. And I have never ever had that one.. I guess his 2nd or 3rd album in his catalog.
So picturesque. Those cases are beautiful. UK Ziggy, bet that sounds great. That is a very desirable White album - pressing. Front loader no less. I love those Parlophone 7”. I love all the 45’s for that matter. What a collection Jt, congratulations!!
Thanks, Mark. I remember when you asked me about my White album.. "Is it a front loader" ? The Ziggy sounds so full, and plays perfectly. Ever since I lost my Hunky Dory, Man Who Sold The World, and Ziggy somehow.. I think in my last move, I have wanted the orange dynaflex copies. I never thought I would have a UK copy ! Wow ! I will show part 2 and all the rest of the 45's next time. I am a happy guy 👍
Thank you, and please be jealous.. I would be ! Haha 😆 I really got lucky, and am grateful.for these gems. I recently had already scored a number of nice hauls.. But, these are absolutely my favorites and will keep them in the vintage cases ! Thank you for looking at these 🎵
It means a lot to know where they came from in that you are kinda keeping their collection and the person alive don't you think? I went to virgin and hmv in London in the late 80s because I lived so nearby in the suburbs and it was so exciting to go there. They just reopened HMV in Oxford street but it's now very expensive and I'd rather thrift or support local stores. Alot of what you showed you rarely find here these days and even rarer in such marvellous condition.
Thank you, as this is my favorite record collection buy.. Ever ! Someone said that none of these are very rare or unusual, and as you say, what's beautiful about this haul is the condition, and the fact that these UK records are all the way over here in Nevada , and I love all of these bands/ artists ! I'm thankful that the gentleman called me to pass on his records. I will keep them together and continue to enjoy and spin them ! 🎵 Appreciated
Hi JT. Nice record haul. Nothing particularly rare, but they look very clean. That 'History Of Fairport Convention' is their first comp and still the best. Richard Thompson's guitar on 'A Sailor's Life' and 'Sloth' gets me every time. Also Sandy Denny's sublime vocals on 'Who Knows Where The Time Goes?' I saw Fairport Convention live just last year, still with Simon Nicol and Dave Mattacks in the line-up. It was an acoustic show, so sadly Dave Mattacks wasn't present ... I love Ian Dury and Graham Parker.
Hi Carl ! Right.. Nothing rare, just hard to find all UK pressings way over here like this ! The fellow was British Army in the late 70s.. A cook, although he was still infantry. ( Northern Ireland ) During " The Troubles". Really great guy, and he was a busker in London as well, part-time. I paid very little for these, and the Grateful Dead and Beatles LP's are pricy.. Ziggy and The White Album ( low numbered are treasures )
white album #146817 and aladdin sane alone make this haul worth climbing monument peak for. i wrote to you 11 times in one thread about jerry garcia and mel torme. as soon as i find out what rates for a shrink west of the mississippi runs, i'll settle up with you! i loved the rory gallagher record you talked about. thanks.
Good suggestion.. I've aways wanted to climb Monument ! Thank you, Marcy.. It's been fun chatting with you. I like Mel, he was cruel to Mom because she wouldn't go out with him, pretty much. She was only 21 and dating her first boyfriend Don Elliott the jazz multi instrumentalist ( George Shearing, Miles early on and other greats ) at that time in 1950-51🎵
I am thrilled with these records ! Many will be an upgrade to some of my US press for UK artists. I got lucky with the phone call to buy this collection ! Thank you for checking this out..
Yes, I do have room in my house. I doubt that I will be trading my Beatles, possibly sell some in the next few years at our local record show, or pop-ups. For now, like many collectors.. I am enjoying my big fat collection ! 😊
I have bought some USA pressings in London in record store JT, it's interesting how UK pressings has ended up in America, mind you it's interesting how Peru Beatles singles have endes up in London, have always loved pressings from different countries
Mostly.. I guess it's because people move around and bring their stuff with them on occasion. I am treasuring these nice records, for sure ! Thanks for looking in on this favorite haul of mine 🎵 Appreciated
In this quantity.. it is pretty rare ! I'm loving these records, and the fellow did me a big favor to sell me his collection that he brought over from England to Nevada.. So I thank him for that ! Appreciated
Excellent stack of UK vinyl, JT. That Fairport Convention is not (I believe) a comp but a reissue of the first (Polydor) album. That Chicken Shack is a rare find. The UK sleeves were IMHO much better then the US tip on versions- especially The Beatles albums. I look forward to seeing more from this score...
Hey Bruce.. You're right ! And I noticed that is is a reissue of the original Fairport LP before, while listening...After I uploaded and proofed my video, I caught it and almost chopped that little section last night.Im so used to seeing the original cover, it threw me off again while flipping through while filming this video. I'm lovin' that Chicken Shack w/ Christine ! Thanks, Man.. I knew someone would catch that fopa of mine !
The only original in this batch is my 1968 low numbered mono White Album # 146,000. I love having these UK Parlaphone pressings, a rare find in this quantity here out west. 🎵
I waited to show this so I could listen and enjoy most of these ! I will keep them in their original cases to enjoy and honor the guy I got them from.. Thanks, Ralph 🫡
I just woke up, and you definitely made me smile ! It is like a dream because I would have never imagined 5 years ago that I would start hitting it hard with buying collections and getting lucky by networking with thrift stores and scoring big hauls that way as well ! Thank you

Great Video ! I am never 100% with UK EMI 70s pressings..UK.Ziggy, Matt Orange RCA 70s label has " The Single Version of Starman" not the Album Verson..identifies as Matrix E6..brings out the Stardust in this Album ! Everyone knows 99% of the time there is a Poster in Band On The Run, Neil Young etc..great that some of these "Rockers" are still with us !
Hello David ! Either way.. These UK pressings broke down to 1.75 USD each.. Was that worthwhile ? I have never seen this many UK records in one grouping of 300 plus 150 45's. here way out west. These were brought over from England in and around 1981by my new friend ! Thank you for checking this one out..
I'm laughing ! ☺ It really is very epic ! That Bowie, Low numbered White Album, Aladdin Sane.. And all kinds old old music that I absolutely love, mostly, almost completely on UK wax ! Cowabunga as Snoopy would say ! Part 2 will be in about a month. I did cheat and showed a number of my favorites in this first video !
I think they were there already when you were visiting. I'm doing a record fair next month anyway. Hope you're getting some time off, " down there" as we west Indians say..

some beautiful scenery, of the tallest mountains, Jobe Peak , Freel Peak South Lake Tahoe and Genoah Nevada !!! nice Made in England press of David Bowie, , Low numbered Beatles , so your saying the White album is about a 4 or a 5? what's it worth? nice Rolling Stones, - Some girls , Police Outlandis damour , RY Cooder , Little Feat - Dixie Chicken , Alman Brothers , Bob Dylan at Budokan , Jefferson Airplane - Flight log , Cream Wheels of Fire , nice Beatles on Parlophone , some very nice 45's , Nice Floyd Uma Guma , Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous , Grateful Dead - - Live Dead , Shake down street , lots of great Grateful Dead albums , interesting Fleetwood Mack , nice Morrisons Hotel , Do you have any Grateful Dead on CD? if you need to get out of the house in the 90's /2010's and today and you want to put music on of the place your going do you have them on cd and Cassette?

Bro... This collection crazy! Huge congrats my dude.
Thanks ! Even folks that don't like The Dead.. those records are valuable. I did good, and I couldn't turn this one down. He gave me a very low and fair price because he knows that I will keep and enjoy these awesome records ! Part 2 in a couple of weeks 🎵 Cheers
Lovely haul JT and they looked to be well looked after. Enjoy spinning them and looking forward to next week. Cheers Dale
I'm online before bed.. In the video, I said Made in England, UK press, and British wax and / or records so many times, it became redundant... But they almost all are ! What a kind gesture from that gentleman, and very, very fair on the price, Dale, I'm loving these classic records 👍 Thanks
This was Great to see very Nice albums
Thanks ! I'm gonna keep these in their original cases, better to enjoy them this way. Appreciated !
Part 2 in a couple of weeks
I was spinning a UK " Beggars Banquet"our of this haul, just this morning..
Another enjoyable video. Anytime I can get Beatles records is a great day. Bought two Japanese pressings last weekend
Which ones did you get, Greg ? Yeah.. I have never had a Beatles haul like this.. Ever !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 white album number 385k and Beatles For Sale plus a bootleg ( at least I believe it is)
Crazy haul JT.
Simply stunning Jt. When you hit, you hit. Enjoy! Cheers, Jeff
And I see all that's recods is in great condition for all these years wow. Enjoy 👍
Yes, Silvio.. They are in great condition, and the sonics on these are fantastic ! Good to hear from you, and thanks for checking this out 🎵 I'm lovin' these !
Awesome haul brother
Thanks, Bro ! Lots of vintage records.. I have plenty of the newer stuff. This is my favorite haul, for sure ! 🤙
Wow that is an excellent find.
@SteveOSpielberg Thank you ! I got lucky.. Met the guy, and the next year, he thought of me taking over his collection ! Great sounding records 🎵
Great haul JT. Love all that Dead.
I " Might As Well" " Go To Heaven" with all of this Dead ! Haha 🎵 Thanks for checking out my treasures, Kevin
I think you would really dig Little Feat ! " Spanish Moon" " Oh Atlanta" " Fat Man In A Bathtub" Willin" .. great, great music !
Yeah.. I love my Byrds on 45's and Gene Clark singles !
You could go see the Athletics over in Sacramento for the next few years 😄
Man I miss baseball…
Wow, once in a life time score. Your hard work pays off.
I did ! I have networked with a lot of folks, I guess that's the key ! I loved your Bob Seger vid Richard
@@jtsrecordroom3963 It was his fourth album, a live album.
Ahhh OK. I'm glad to have it, and didn't listen yet. It's been years since I've seen that record. Thanks, Randy
I collect action figures and I love hauls so I can tell You had a good one man !
This was a good one, for sure ! Many of these records are upgrades to my already good copies ! That guy did me a solid 👍Thanks for checking this out..
I'm trying very hard not to hate you. A massively great haul. Congrats.
Thank you, and please be jealous.. I would be ! Haha 😆 I really got lucky, and am grateful.for these gems. I recently had already scored a number of nice hauls.. But, these are absolutely my favorites and will keep them in the vintage cases ! Thank you for looking at these 🎵
Impressive. Very nice.
Ahh, thank you ! I'm lucky to have these records and to get the call to buy them !
I’ve never seen that version of After Bathing At Baxters. That is quite the haul.
Cool Baxter's huh ! Bunch of bangers in this one, Rich.. See you on your latest.. Thanks
What's rare is the low numbered White Album, original mono 1968. 164,000 or so..🖐
I'm into Judee Sill lately 🫤
@@jtsrecordroom3963 Latest listen for me is 'Bachelor No. 2' by Aimee Mann. A stunning album!
white album #146817 and aladdin sane alone make this haul worth climbing monument peak for. i wrote to you 11 times in one thread about jerry garcia and mel torme. as soon as i find out what rates for a shrink west of the mississippi runs, i'll settle up with you! i loved the rory gallagher record you talked about. thanks.
Good suggestion.. I've aways wanted to climb Monument ! Thank you, Marcy.. It's been fun chatting with you. I like Mel, he was cruel to Mom because she wouldn't go out with him, pretty much. She was only 21 and dating her first boyfriend Don Elliott the jazz multi instrumentalist ( George Shearing, Miles early on and other greats ) at that time in 1950-51🎵
Excellent records im from new Zealand but enjoy collecting english press ,american press and european nice clean uk press nice.😊🎉
I am thrilled with these records ! Many will be an upgrade to some of my US press for UK artists. I got lucky with the phone call to buy this collection ! Thank you for checking this out..
I'd love to visit your country someday with my son and wife, Australia too ! Thanks again 🌐
incredible, enjoy!
Thank you, I'm having a good old time with these vintage records ! Appreciated 👍
So will you trade in your other Beatles albums or keep the different pressings. Is there any room in your house that has no records?
Amazing to see UK pressings in North America.
I will be doing a part 2, for sure, so thank you for that ! Cheers, Bruce 🎵
Rubber soul is a 1969 repressing but still nice to have
Thanks, Richard 🎵
The only original in this batch is my 1968 low numbered mono White Album # 146,000. I love having these UK Parlaphone pressings, a rare find in this quantity here out west. 🎵
Holy Mackerel J.T.! Congratulations! Couldn't happen to a better guy. Very happy for you. Thanks for sharing this!
I waited to show this so I could listen and enjoy most of these ! I will keep them in their original cases to enjoy and honor the guy I got them from.. Thanks, Ralph 🫡
Maaan JT you are living my dream!
I just woke up, and you definitely made me smile ! It is like a dream because I would have never imagined 5 years ago that I would start hitting it hard with buying collections and getting lucky by networking with thrift stores and scoring big hauls that way as well ! Thank you
@@jtsrecordroom3963 I love being able to be part of your journey and see all the amazing discoveries you make! I’m still relatively new at record collecting, but your content is such an inspiration to me! I’m a big fan of UK artists and it’s hard to find a lot of records that I’m looking for here in South Carolina, but I would love to venture out and find records in other countries and places like you do. You’re the coolest! Keep up the good work!
Well if they gave awards for best hauls, I think you would win!!
I had to honestly assess if this was truly my best ever, because I have had some amazing ones, especially very low priced ones. This is the best of the best, though..So my title is heart felt and not RUclips hype. Thank you for nice comment 👍 I'm loving these records ! Cheers
Спасибо за видео. Очень интересно.
Your welcome ! It is rare to see this many UK records here way out west. I am thoroughly enjoying these.. Appreciated ✌
Bloody hell; this is epic!
I did cheat and showed a number of my favorites in this first video !
where the heck are you gonna put 300 more records? cool stuff dude.
I think they were there already when you were visiting. I'm doing a record fair next month anyway. Hope you're getting some time off, " down there" as we west Indians say..
@@jtsrecordroom3963 man you aint no west indian…. we’re back. returned Saturday nite. it was a bitch but i got to swim in ocean handful times which is all i cared about.

so your saying the White album is about a 4 or a 5? what's it worth?
nice Rolling Stones, - Some girls , Police Outlandis damour , RY Cooder , Little Feat - Dixie Chicken , Alman Brothers , Bob Dylan at Budokan ,
Jefferson Airplane - Flight log , Cream Wheels of Fire , nice Beatles on Parlophone , some very nice 45's ,
Nice Floyd Uma Guma , Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous , Grateful Dead - - Live Dead , Shake down street , lots of great Grateful Dead albums ,
interesting Fleetwood Mack , nice Morrisons Hotel ,
Do you have any Grateful Dead on CD? if you need to get out of the house in the 90's /2010's and today and you want to put music on of the place your going do you have them on cd and Cassette?
Hey Mark.. OK, so in my White albums condition, I'd say 200 on the low end.
I do have Grateful Dead on Cd, and a lot of everything else on Cd. I do a great deal of my listening in the car !
