Hi JT!!! those are all amazing records and they are all worth spun more than 100 times or even more....Always enjoy your diversity and great music taste with VH, Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Sabbath, Humble Pie, Yes, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, AIC. Very cool Rivers..... t-shirt. cheers and be well
Yeah.. I always had roommates until I got my very own 1 bdrm apartment. As a gift to myself.. I went out and bought " Women & Children First".. I took Sean to the Rivers show as well. He enjoyed seeing his cousin backstage and going up there and killing it ! Thanks, Cristian. 🤙
You cannot deny the brilliance of Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter on Lou's "R & R Animal". The intro on Sweet Jane alone is worth the repeat listens. Those two guitarists also killed it on AC's best album "Billion Dollar Babies". Stoked that you choose Houses. Being a longtime fan of the Mighty Blimp {LZ}. Houses was always my go-to. It was their pivotal/total band contribution album. Apostrophe, Ya Ya's, World is a Ghetto, etc... We have a lot of the same band/artist appreciations JT. Way to go~ Rob/Boston
Alice's best album is BD Babies ! " Let It Bleed" is a Stones LP that I spun 100 as well on vinyl. Glad that we like much of the same bands, Rob ! I rocked out to " Black Dog" on the way to work yesterday... Loud !!! Haha 🤘 Thanks.. I'll see if you have a new video
Love it ! Thanks for acknowledging possibly Pete's best.. I mean " White City and " Empty Glass".. Also Rough Mix w/ Ronnie Lane are all good as well ! " All The Best Cowboys" is my fav, though..😊
G’day JT … Some great albums there . Feel like I’m looking through my own records with your picks .Polly Jean Harvey is terrific and one of my very favourites along with Neil Young . Bonnie Raitt ,Little Feat, Radiohead ,Sabbath , Lou Reed ,Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy,Humble Pie, The Dead ,Yes & Pixies Will have to check DanHicks out ! also that particular Pete Townsend I haven’t heard . Big Who fan so not sure why I’ve missed out on Chinese Eyes . Great stuff once again . Thank you .Cheers mate 😎👌🇦🇺
Very cool that we enjoy the same stuff.. Please stream Where's The Money" great old timey toe tapping tunes with some very nice ballads and hilarious lyrics. It is one of my all-time favorites. Dan's best album, I think ! Talk soon, Craig and thanks
It's great seeing Bonnie Raitt...one of those artists that doesn't get much attention but whenever her name is mentioned everybody goes "I LOVE Bonnie Raitt." I saw Gov't Mule do covers of a couple songs you mentioned - Spanish Moon and 30 Days In The Hole. Great stack of records for sure. Thanks for showing them Jt!
Too cool to see Govt. Mule ! I bet "Spanish Moon" was so so good with Warren belting it out ! 30 Days In The Hole" is such an epic tune as well.. Where did you see this show ? Nashville ? Bonnie's first LP is great as well, with "Bluebird" and "I Ain't Blue" is my favorite from that debut..
Yeah.. Mine too, for sure. I want to get "Let England Shake" Demos and "Uh Huh Her" Demos. I streamed both and really like the alternate stripped down versions a great deal. "Carmelita" is my favorite Warren tune.. I think ? There are so many good ones !
Hi JT! You weren't kidding when you said you were going to feature some variety here! That Descendents record is worth a small fortune. Women And Children First! Love it! I've enjoyed a few of the Otis Gibbs videos. You are correct, he is a very good storyteller. You mentioned Waiting For Columbus, and I agree that it is one of the best Live albums ever. I remember your video when you found that War album at Bill's Garage! I saw Alice In Chains at Lollapalooza in Toronto, summer of /93. Outstanding! Massachusetts shoutout for the Pixies! Incredible band JT!
Glad to hear that you enjoy Otis Gibbs, Mike. His Steve Poltz interviews are my most recent favorites. Poltz John Prine story, and his Dylan story involving his old girlfriend.. Jewel ! Thanks for checking my latest out. I just finished editing my best vinyl record haul.. Ever ! Seriously !!
Thanks, Ralph.. I was a little loose on the premise 100 records I've listened to. Some of these took Cd's, cassettes and vinyl to get to 100. And .. I'm not a counter ! Haha 🫡
Some great selections, Jt. Many of those would populate my list as well, including Rock ‘n’ Roll Animal, The Bends, and Dirt. Let’s catch up over the weekend. I want to hear about your trip.
Great song.. Love it ! I didn't get into much detail this time, I had a big stack of records to show. I do love Carmelita" on Warren's 2nd album. Thanks so much..
Thanks, Steve ! I took Sean as well.. He was nervous at first, but he warmed up to seeing his cousin go out there and kill it ! The boys autographed my 2nd copy of "Where Owls Know My Name" backstage. Cheers !
Great collection of records! Some of these I've never even heard once. Women and Children First is such a great (if too brief) record. The Yes Album is a prog rock masterpiece. Get Yer Ya Yas is my favorite live album. Wish it had been a double. Tonight's the Night might be Neil's darkest record but I love it.
Good to hear from you Jeff ! Tonight's The Night is pretty dark, and rightfully so with the loss of his roadie, and Danny Whitten. Also "On The Beach" is as dark, except for "Walk On" Zuma is pretty awesome as well ! I winged this one, as I wanted to respond to Randy Weaver's idea. Glad you liked my picks ! See you on yours..
Jt, I did an entry for Randy’s contest. I’ve listened to so many of your selections at least a hundred times. Hicks, Feat, Zappa, et al but some you mentioned that I need to get started on. Really enjoyed that. Cheers.
Absolutely brilliant batch of records JT. To start with Polly Harvey was fantastic, and a great album. The Bends is also my favourite Radiohead. My fav Sabb is Sabotage, but I have also listened to Paranoid well over a 100 times. I love Houses of the Holly, and the Rain Song is sublime, but I think Zep 3 is probably my most played. I saw that Lizzy tour… fantastic! Soooooo many great records here JT!! Mike
Zep III is my other favorite ! My next purchases will be Polly Jean's demo records.. "Shake England Shake" very stripped down and superb ! Fantastic that you were there on that Thin Lizzy tour.. "Cowboy Song" had to be otherworldly to hear live at that time.. Wow !
Rid Of Me is so so good ! I finally bought the repress 2 yrs. ago, and bought it on Cd after " To Bring You My Love" in 94 or so.. Good to hear from you, Shaun 🎵
Thank you, and I'm pleased that you like all of these records ! I could have gone on and on on this one. I grabbed these records easily from arms reach in my record room, and from my living room stash ! Cheers ✌
Nice video. I have a lot of albums through the years I know I have listened to it over 100 times especially albums from my teenage years. Of course there is a lot of punk and 80s along with even some classical that would fall into this category we all have those go to albums
We do have these kind of records, don't we ! I knew I would respond to Randy Weaver's contest idea, eventually.. And Richie's response was very good as well. Hope you are all settled in, Steve.. And I can tell that you are very busy !
I’m right there with on having Women and Children First on this list. Or any Zeppelin. The World is a Ghetto is my favorite War album besides Greatest Hits. I saw Stevie Nicks in concert early 80’s and Warren Zevon came out before show with Waddy and they played on the walkway between shed and lawn with acoustic guitars. Very cool. Nice picks JT!
I'm not a counter like our Chicago Steve.. So I had to be a bit loose with figuring albums I listened to 100 times. Many of these I did spin on vinyl that many times, but others.. I had to figure in Cassettes in the car, and Cd's in the car, or at home ! Thanks, Gary.. I was just thinking about you, and gonna look in on your newer stuff.
your open-mindedness is incredible as i believe you were celebrating finding some windhall hill records when i first began watching you which blew my mind but that's neither here nor there. i just don't understand how they compliment your punk rock and van halen collections but my mind is less open. you have a family and you play stuff they like i imagine...i love everything you've selected here especially dan hicks whose autobiography i wound up reading. the bonnie raitt record is marvelous. i haven't listened to thin lizzy albums in years but loved "cowboy song" and many others. pj harvey is a favorite and you are fascinating VC regular who is unregularly knowledgeable and pleasant. long may you listen to anything and everything you like for as many times as you want!
Wow ! Thank you so much.. I am all over the map, musically. This way I don't get bored or burned out, and It is because I played in bands, and family members worked in the industry, including my mother ( Sammy Davis, Billie Holiday, Mel Torme, Jimmy Durante, Peggy Lee and Bonnie's father.. John Raitt in New York ! Dan Hicks is very amazing, and I'm pleased to hear you read his book. I greatly respect artists / bands.. So I am not very judgmental. I know how hard it is to make it in the biz.. I am a Dead Head as well ! Haha✌ If you haven't ever listened to "Where's The Money" Dan Hicks.. You owe it to yourself to sit back and soak that one up ( It's live from The Troubadour in LA ) I appreciate your very nice comment..
@@jtsrecordroom3963 i know john raitt from several musicals and would love to know anyone who ever attended to a young or an old mel torme as i love him. i recently watched sammy on the dick cavett show with anissa jones from "family affair" who went to school with my neighbor when i was growing up. people decided he was being inappropriate with her not me. i thought he was encouraging girl who only made it to 18. you wrote to me about seeing elvis in 69 and i repeat my comment. i hope you stick around to mel torme's age.
Yeah.. My mother spoke of John Raitt whenever his daughters name came up. Mom worked with him on the other big show in NYC.. Not The Rockettes. Mom toured with Mel, and in Boston, he was pretty cruel on a couple of occasions.. This stuff happens. He was a mega star in 1950. Right.. We were there for Elvis's opening night, July 31st, 1969, at The International Hotel on Paradise Rd. The new Elvis film had Vegas to the tee in the summer of '69 🎵
@@jtsrecordroom3963 i saw a different vegas in 1994 as well as steve winwood's traffic. i was supposed to see the grateful dead but that didn't work out. i admire mel slightly less hearing of his treatment of your mom but always admired john raitt for never saying he minded his daughter pining for muddy waters and howlin wolf when she was witnessing them-a wise father.
Mel was such a big star and not a handsome man. I feel that was an insecurity in him. Nobody's perfect ! Too bad you missed seeing The Dead. Would that have been in Las Vegas at the Silver Bowl ? Awesome that you saw Traffic in '94. Steve should have invited Dave Mason to that reunion.
Love these kind of videos/lists. All great choices. Tonight’s the Night is my favorite Neil Young album and Albuquerque is quite possibly my favorite Neil song of all time. Huge Steve Marriott fan as well.
Zuma is so great as well, and the same year of 1975.. But we should give the edge to "Tonight's The Night" 😊 I met Neil with Peggy in 1990 at North Lake Tahoe.. I never let him know I knew who he was and enjoyed his company for a couple of hours at Le Petit Pier where I was the Maître D. His Mgr. gave me a copy of "Freedom" the night before.. I guess he was scouting out our restaurant for Neil the very next night.. Thank you
So many records we share, so many here I’ve never even heard (far as I know). Loved the R. Crumb art. Of course 😊 Get Yer Ya Ya’s is… just the best! Same Pearl Jam 10 I mostly play as well. I have other iterarions but that’s the one. Out and about yesterday I only listened to the Pixies 😊 Great stuff, some reminders of bands I’ve missed or skipped. Sigh… money and time.
A few more 100 spins. Aqualung, Dave Mason " Headkeeper" and his debut. David Bromberg .. his 1st record, a very rootsy, blues, folk country, and bluegrass affair. What we came to classify as Americana ! Thanks, Morten 🎵
Right.. Me too, I don't count or classify. In the old days, for instance, Prog was called Classical Rock.. There was no.genre term yet for Prog in 1971. Same for Americana , a term that came about in the early 90s. What I meant was that country rock is the only description we had for The Byrds, Burrito Bros. and the early Eagles records .. again back in 1970 -72
Hey there Aaron..A bit like your TT's with the variety that you show as well. I picked these pretty fast.. But they all qualify for 100 listens at least, and most of my picks exclusively on vinyl. Thanks !
I do like to bounce around with genres.. This way, I don't get bored listening. It becomes a journey of discovery, constantly ! Thank you, I appreciate it ✌
Yeah.. Taj's debut is great ! Although this the one I listened to 100 times on vinyl. I got into his debut much later. "Giant Step" is the other album that I played a whole lot ! Thank you
Radiohead is easy to listen to over and over and over again. Radiohead is my number one modern rock band! Zeppelin is my number one classic rock era rock band! I have quite a few Taj Mahal recordings but not that one. Cool 😎 I picked up that Townsend album at dig # 7 too. I’ve never heard it. I’m looking forward to it. That’s a great Stones record too! Dirty Love is such a great song! Cool thread, JT!
I almost picked Apostophe, but I knew I hadn't listened to it 100 times.. Over-nite Sensation, Yes ! That's a really good Taj album, for me, even better than his debut ! Enjoy " Chinese Eyes"
So cool, Catherine ! Exodus is the one for me, and.. All of the live albums, too ! October of 2025, We will be in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, King Bob's home in his adult life. "Natural Mystic" and "So Much Things To Say" are my fav's on this outstanding album !
Been listening to the Bonnie Raitt album per your review and love her version of Let Me In, the 1961 Golden Oldie by the Sensations, which peaked at number 2 on the Hot 100.
Wow ! Thanks for taking my recommendation. Her first one is great as well. And I did not know about The Sensations.. I hope to find the 45 for "Let Me In" someday soon, as I have been finding lots of great 7" singles in the past 6 months ! Thanks 😊
It was great to see Warren Zevon represented although I probably listened to his self-titled album the most. Of the ones you mentioned, the Zevon and Townshend albums would be the closest to getting 100 plays. I hear the werewolf’s hair was perfect.
"His Hair Was.. Perfect" !!! 🧑 Haha.. Just like Tom Cruise in "the Color Of Money".. I have competed with Keith McCready In Reno and San Diego... 9- Ball tournaments and gambling. He is the one that Paul Newman ( Fast Eddie ) told Vincent ( Tom Cruise ) Lose to him.. He is the best, and if you beat him for the money.. No one will ever play you.. ever ! Keith was also the consultant on the film and did the best acting performance of any pool player ever in film ( Grady Seasons ) Thanks, Randy
"Carmelita" is forever my favorite Warren song.. Only by a little, though.. I love his self titled LP as well. I acquired it way after "Excitable Boy"..
@@jtsrecordroom3963 “Carmelita” is a great tune. My favorite is “Desperados Under The Eaves” but he had so many great ones. I loved that they used his song in The Color Of Money.
Me too ! it became an anthem.. Werewolves ) when I was locked in and "In the zone" while stringing racks one after another ! I miss those days, but playing is way too much work. I used to live for it. I put my cue down back in 2011.
Jt, I was not surprised by the diversity of your choices mate. PJ Harvey is a hell of a place to start. She has continued to make brilliant records. I gotta admit I have that Zevon record but I don’t listen to it as much as I should. Descendants are great fun. VH for me has to be DLR. I love the Sabs but I think my most listened to would Vol 4. I love VU & Lou, but I don’t remember if you’ve talked about Cale’s solo records. He had a hot 70’s streak too. Jailbreak yes! I do like Humble Pie a lot, but Steve Marriott in the Small Faces is the ultimate for me. Ya Ya’s can’t be beat. FZ I couldn’t pick one album. Of course Bob Marley 👍 I was more Nirvana than Pearl Jam, but I have grown to dig ‘em. AIC heavy duty stuff. Doolittle is a masterpiece. So glad you squeezed in NY. Again hard to pick just one. SY, Jt you are knocking it out of the park mate & then Bowie. So cool. That was awesomely all over the shop. Great vid Jt. Cheers…Ben
I only have a couple of Cale albums on Cd.. I really should dive in and check out his great records. Yeah.. Polly Jean is one of my favorite female or male artists. I want to buy "Uh Huh Her" demos and "Shake England Shake" demos. I love the stripped down nature of these important albums ! With Small Faces, with Humble Pie.. I am a fan for life of Steve Marriott. I totally dig Nirvana as much, actually more than Pearl Jam.. I just didn't listen to those great records 100 times each ! FZ.. Apostrophe, Hot Rats, Joe's Garage, Over-nite Sensation, Live At The Roxy, Freak Out, Were Only In It For The Money, Zappa In New York, One Size Fits All and Sheik Yerbouti are just a few of Frank's genius
@@jtsrecordroom3963 Cale’s “Island Trilogy” Is a good way to start. That is just a fraction of FZ greatness & just those ones you mentioned are amazing!
Thanks, and I bet that's what Toronto Brian would recommend as well. I'll look into these, I know that I will enjoy them. Bon Voyage, Ben ✈️ And thanks
Hey JT, you’d love the Sonic Youth 100% 12” single as it’s got ‘Creme Brûlée’ on it. Sonic Youth opened for Neil Young on the 91 ‘Arc/Weld’ tour....& got booed or ignored every night! Neil Young loved them though. Surfer Rosa, just beats Doolittle for me.
Me too ! I did listen to Doolittle a lot more than SR. I had Doolittle on cassette and Cd. Surfer Rosa, I discovered in the late 90's.. and it's overall a better full length. Yeah.. Neil liked Sonic Youth, and I will look out for that 12" 1991.. That's so true.. They did get tortured by Neil's fans. I saw Sponge open for Neil in 1996 ? ..Would love to have seen... Sonic Youth !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 yeah look out for that 12” the sound quality is amazing, also has probably the greatest Lee Renaldo song ‘Genetic’. They should have put it on ‘Dirty’ ,I think it caused a bit of an argument in the band, it’s one of my favourite SY tunes
Been wanting to do this for weeks, now. We just got back from Bodega Bay.. Took Sean to the Charles Schulz "Peanuts" museum in Santa Rosa.. Amazing and an emotional experience to see all of the Peanuts gang presented like that in a museum ! See you, Josh.. Thanks
After my Schwinn Varsity.. I got a Gitane Interclub ! That was a fast bike.. I did not own a car until I was 19. My first was a 1973 VW Van ( light blue ) Thanks !
Bonnie's 1st album is the one I'm missing, and it has " I Ain't Blue" and " Bluebird" on it. I like Pennywise and Bad Religion a lot.. and Millencolin !
This is a good thread, for sure.. Now I'm thinking of more LP's that I have listened to exclusively on vinyl.. I pulled these pretty quick for this video.. Descendants "Everything Sux" and "When I Get Old".. Pretty good, Richie
I was never a Mirabelli's fan when I lived there. Only went in there maybe a couple times. They had kind of an old fashioned type of feel to the store - stocked the top 40 singles, heavy focus on whatever was on the charts at that particular time. I liked too much off the wall stuff that they didn't seem to stock. They were around for a long time, so must have been doing something right.
You are right about Mirabelli's.. I didn't buy much there either ! Lately, I am finding a number of records with the local price stickers on the shrink, and two big hauls that I scored had a bunch of those records in mint condition. I liked the store on the corner of Virginia and near Plumb on the west side of the main drag.. Can't remember the name, and I have been going to Recycled Records since the original store on Wells in 1978 ! Thanks for checking this one out..
@@jtsrecordroom3963 You may have missed it, but in the late 90's - early 2000's there was a store on Plumb called the Music Castle. It was to the east of that McDonalds in an old strip mall. Nice store, had a lot of stuff, owner was a nice guy, seemed a little scatter brained, though. I think he thought he was going to put the hurt on Recycled, but didn't work out for him. Last time I was in there he told me he was going to close the store next Monday and I thought he meant he was taking a day off. He meant for good. I think he moved to SLC. You might ask the Recycled guys if they recall that place.
OK.. I was loose on this. Houses Of The Holy / Paranoid / Dan Hicks "Where's The Money".. You know what ? Most of them, Rob.. With more listens on Cd and Cassette !
JT I would like to apologize for not getting this video done soonr. Last night I had allergys and i'm also very far behind on videos playoff Hockey going on. I'm sorry. so your nephew is in a Death/Black Metal band how does your Brother or sister feel about that Genre? I heard your answer 3 seconds later ok an album from 1995 Pj Harvey , nice Warren Zevon , the Decendents every think stinks or every thing stinks today , computers , cell phones? nice Van Halen - Woman and children first !!! , nice Bonnie Raitt , Little Feat , sweet Sabbath , Paranoid is also my favorite album to Lou Reed from 1974 classic , sweet Zeppelin - Houses of the holy , War , That's a great album Thin Lizzy on quite a few magazines list of the top 100 like Hit Paradeer , Humble Pie , I have that Alice in Chains - Dirt but on CD!!!! nice Bowie for the decendents what's surf punk and skater punk? I heard you say you were going to be showing all different genres have you listened to these albums over 100 times Jefferson Airplane - Surrelstic pillows? Jimi Hendrix - Are you experinced - Electric Lady land- Axis bold as love,-- Band of the Gypsys? Moody Blues-- Doors - self titled Doors - Morrisons hotel Doors La Woman? Aerosmith - self titled, the 2nd album - Toys in the attic - Rocks- Draw the Line, Night in the Ruts? Lynyrd Skynyrd - Pronounced? Lynyrd Skynyrd - 2nd Helping? Lynyrd Skynyrd- Street Survivors? Jethro Tull - Aqualung? Beatles - Sgt Peppers Beatles - White album Queen - self titled Queen - Night at the opera so in the video you showed Van Halen did you have any albums similar to them say Def Leppard the first 3? I know you told me that Kiss came later but when 1980 came did you buy any Kiss albums from the 70's? did you buy any Iron Maiden any of their albums? so when Formats started to change did you have Black Sabbath Paranoid on Cassette ? what about Van Halen? the only albums I have listened to over 100 times would be the Kiss albums I had them on vinyl never on cassette but I now enjoy them on my walkman over the summer on cd. as far as the other classic albums I want to say around 40 to 60 times depending upon the album so like Ac/dc - Back in Black For those about to Rock, highway to hell in the 60 or so range the self titled album by Iron Maiden closer to 40 times if that. Judas Priest Painkiller about 40 or times.
I have listened to these albums 100 times each.. most on vinyl plus other formats, and some.. I'm took me 2 or 3 formats to get to 100 listens. I didn't count, but I know that these are at least.. 100 listens each

Thank you
@@jtsrecordroom3963 Wow! What a treat! Lucky you!
So many records we share, so many here I’ve never even heard (far as I know). Loved the R. Crumb art. Of course 😊
Get Yer Ya Ya’s is… just the best!
Same Pearl Jam 10 I mostly play as well. I have other iterarions but that’s the one.
Out and about yesterday I only listened to the Pixies 😊
Great stuff, some reminders of bands I’ve missed or skipped. Sigh… money and time.
@mortenaastad796 I definitely have another 15 or 20 that I've Listened to 100 or more times !
A few more 100 spins. Aqualung, Dave Mason " Headkeeper" and his debut. David Bromberg .. his 1st record, a very rootsy, blues, folk country, and bluegrass affair. What we came to classify as Americana ! Thanks, Morten 🎵
Not even sure how I would find out. Unlike Steve at All the Worlds a Stage, I don't keep a file 😀
@@jtsrecordroom3963 Funny, I'm listening to Jethro Tull as I read this.
I forget, did you see/check out my contest?
Right.. Me too, I don't count or classify. In the old days, for instance, Prog was called Classical Rock.. There was no.genre term yet for Prog in 1971. Same for Americana , a term that came about in the early 90s. What I meant was that country rock is the only description we had for The Byrds, Burrito Bros. and the early Eagles records .. again back in 1970 -72
Killer video JT! Awesome how many different genres and styles you have on this one. I really love the AIC and VH picks 👍🤘🤘
Hey there Aaron..A bit like your TT's with the variety that you show as well. I picked these pretty fast.. But they all qualify for 100 listens at least, and most of my picks exclusively on vinyl. Thanks !
I enjoyed this video very much. You have a varied taste in music which I appreciate. Gave me a few things to look for also.
I do like to bounce around with genres.. This way, I don't get bored listening. It becomes a journey of discovery, constantly ! Thank you, I appreciate it ✌
Some nice choices, JT. I only have the Little Feat, Taj Mahal and Bowie LPs. I think Taj's debut was the best.
Hi JT! This is a fun thread. I recently bought a reissue of Exodus. Now I can listen to Three Little Birds a 100x.😊
Killer video bro loved it
Been wanting to do this for weeks, now. We just got back from Bodega Bay.. Took Sean to the Charles Schulz "Peanuts" museum in Santa Rosa.. Amazing and an emotional experience to see all of the Peanuts gang presented like that in a museum ! See you, Josh.. Thanks
Schwinn Varsity! You were a rich kid. I could only afford a World Sport model. Hahaha
After my Schwinn Varsity.. I got a Gitane Interclub ! That was a fast bike.. I did not own a car until I was 19. My first was a 1973 VW Van ( light blue ) Thanks !
@@jtsrecordroom3963 My 1st car was a '75 Beetle. Bro's from different hoes!!
I love melodic hardcore! At dig #7 I got a great sealed master analogue tapes reissue of Men Women and Children. Early Bonnie Raitt rocks!
Bonnie's 1st album is the one I'm missing, and it has " I Ain't Blue" and " Bluebird" on it. I like Pennywise and Bad Religion a lot.. and Millencolin !
That is also the first PJ Harvey that I ever heard. There is no doubt I listened to Rock N Roll Animal 100 times.
You best believe that I will be watching this one tonight. But what albums have you spun over 100 times? ~
Rob/Boston
Comment 1 of 2
I'm sorry.

for the decendents what's surf punk and skater punk?
I heard you say you were going to be showing all different genres have you listened to these albums over 100 times

Queen - Night at the opera
so in the video you showed Van Halen
did you have any albums similar to them say Def Leppard the first 3? I know you told me that Kiss came later but when 1980 came did you buy any Kiss albums from the 70's? did you buy any Iron Maiden any of their albums?
so when Formats started to change did you have Black Sabbath Paranoid on Cassette ? what about Van Halen?
the only albums I have listened to over 100 times would be the Kiss albums I had them on vinyl never on cassette but I now enjoy them on my walkman
over the summer on cd.
as far as the other classic albums I want to say around 40 to 60 times depending upon the album
so like Ac/dc - Back in Black
For those about to Rock, highway to hell in the 60 or so range
the self titled album by Iron Maiden closer to 40 times if that.
Judas Priest Painkiller about 40 or times.
Hey Mark ! So.. Surf Punk and Skate Punk are the same, really. NOFX, Desendants, and even Ramones were influenced by Surf music of the 60s.
I have listened to these albums 100 times each.. most on vinyl plus other formats, and some.. I'm took me 2 or 3 formats to get to 100 listens. I didn't count, but I know that these are at least.. 100 listens each
Out of that list of bands, I've listened to Aqualung at least 100 times.
Yes, I have Paranoid and Women and Children first on all 3 formats. I never had 8 tracks, although some of my friends did..
I never bought any KISS until I joined the vinyl community. So many of you are in that KISS age group of guys.. 50 to 60 years old.
