Earlier this year, Channel Four made Channel 4 HD the default on Freesat channel 104.
Channel 4 Standard definition, which occupied channel 104 is no longer available on Freesat.
For some users this has meant that they are unable to receive Channel 4 on channel 104, as they have been allocated a weak Channel 4 HD region.
And perhaps using the wrong size of satellite dish for your location, or your satellite dish is not accurately aligned.
You can however add Channel 4 HD channel to your Freesat HD setup box and continue to watch Channel 4 in HD.

Do you know of any postcodes that let you have not ITV 1 HD and Channel 4 HD in Spain?
There is no UK postcode that currently gets you the strong C4HD (London) and a strong ITV1 HD...(ITV1 London is a weak signal)
I’ve done this and now got 4hd but have now lost itv hd ?
The video is aimed at viewers here in Spain (where I am located) and other weak signal areas, where the signals for these channels are not as strong as in the UK, hence why we need tricks to get them
Here in Spain, when you change to a London postcode you get allocated a strong C4HD region, but you get ITV1HD London, which is a weaker signal.
So it is a toss between a good ITV1HD on 103 and no C4HD on 104, or no ITV1HD on 103 but with C4HD on 104.
There is no postcode that gets you a good ITV1 HD and a good C4HD on 103 and 104....
but this depends where you are and your dish size. Have a large enough dish for your location, and you will get all the regions fine....
But if this is in the UK, like you say you are, and you cannot get both ITV1HD and C4HD at the same time then sounds like an issue with your dish lnb cable or receiver system somewhere
Just a shame, my other half’s parents have this provoke. Just a shame there isn’t a post code that does both ? Have you had any success?
@@jhothersall There is no uk postcode that gets you the strong C4HD London and a strong ITV1HD. Just have to wait until either C4 or ITV move these regions from the "Borrowed" frequencies on to their own frequencies.
@@SatTVGuy thank you, I appreciate it. I was under the impression that it should just work … but thank you for the video and the advice 🙂We are using a 1.8m dish … the 1.2 m would not cut it for BBC, but at least with a London post code we can get all the channels, thanks again
