@@SatTVGuy That is not a problem, as we are redecorating our home soon, and with that we have a new modern Freesat box which we will install when the decorating has been done.
Yes, as the "non freesat mode" on the Arris 4k boxes is poor, and basically resets the box each time you go to and from it. Its annoying that you cannot easily swap between the two.
Please subscribe to the channel. Its free to subscribe. It would mean a lot. Thank you. : www.youtube.com/@SatTVGuy/?sub_confirmation=1
I have just tuned the channels into my old Goodmans Freesat box and they work fine. Thank you
You´re welcome. But remember if this is an old SD Freesat box, it will lose most channels in the next few months, as they move from DVBS to DVBS2

5:11 hi it doesnt allow me to select start channel search, any advice.
Try again. I had this problem when doing the process once, and just did it again, and it worked.
By doing this on my Arris box , would i need to reschedule my recording.?

Not on most Freesat boxes - but maybe the 4k box. But if left in non freesat mode, then the box will not record what you have planned in freesat mode
