The last batch of channel that moved off Freesat, but still on FTA are the "great" channels, whic happened a few months ago. EASy to add them into non freesat mode on most freesat boxes, apart from the new "4k" boxes.

It could be a hardware issues, like an LNB failure, or even dish out of alignment..

UK Freesat receivers will not receive ANY UK channels in Canada, as the signals from the UK TV satellites do not cover Canada.

Like i keep saying, a UK Freesat receiver will not receive ANY UKTV signals in Canada and thus will not work, as the UK TV signals that supply the UK Freesat receiver do not reach Canada. They cover the UK, and only parts of Western Europe. It is IMPOSSIBLE for the UK TV satellite signals from the Astra 2 satellites to be received in Canada! On ANY satellite receiver, be it Freesat or Free To Air. So you "dish fta people" are telling you porkies about receiving UK TV channels via Freesat in Canada

Try the different server options in the Nord app...? I just checked mine and all is working fine

I tried different cities, nothing worked. I contacted Nord VPN support yesterday and they confirmed that the currently have issues with the iPlayer 😢

Freesat is just a TV Guide. It is not responsible for the content channel operators show - one of these channels that is mentioned is currently showing Christmas Movies...in July! Freesat is responsible for the charges to be included on the Freesat Guide, which may be the stumbling block if channels are leaving Freesat but still available for free on a Sky or free to air receiver.

The last 5 music channels on Freesat were closed by their owner Channel 4 at the start of the week, as part of their costs savings (as mentioned in a previous video). There are still about a dozen free music TV channels still available free to air, but not on Freesat, so you will have to add them manually.

IF bad weathe is knocking out the signals, then that is normal. It may also mean that your dish may be out of alignment, or too small, but even then a larger dish may not help in really bad weather

@@SatTVGuy Well you may have just saved me spending £150 + on eBay on a freeview box mate, heavy rain with a lot of cloud cover, sort of weather my picture goes, and I have not had any picture loss at all yet..cheers mate happy camper..

If the Sky website does not have a code for your TV; then your TV is not supported, so you will have to use the two remotes, one for the TV and one for the Sky box

I suppose it depends where you are and what size dish you have...which you do not say. But if you have a good signal, then the box will update and the channels will be there. But them if you have not had access to the BBC HD channels for the last 10+ years they have had HD channels, then you will not get the regionalised BBC One HD channels now... so basically you have had NO BBC channels since Jan this year, and no BBC One Regions on 101 since MArch 2023?

If the codes are not available on the Sky website for your make / model of TV, then it is not supported, and you will have to use the TV remote control as well as the Sky remote control

I think you are clicking on "network connection", and not going right to the second page where the Freesat channels search option is.

Sounds like a Express VPN issue...no problems with NORD as you can see from the video

Default PIN is 0000, unless someone has changed it.

Otherwise you will have to contact Manhattan support for the master PIN (which i cannot find at the moment!)

As shown in this video that i did about changing the country settings in your Amazon account : ruclips.net/video/bAPYyoYZIPc/видео.html . But many people have had issues with the downloader version, with it not loading or crashing. Then again, people in the UK have issues with ITVX, so perhaps it is just a crap app...

Assuming you are outside the UK, if so then your postcode has allocated you a weak ITV1 HD. Change this, eg to a Yorkshire East, and you get an ITV! HD region the same frequency as ITV4HD...nice and strong. But then you get allocated a weak C4HD...

If all other channels are fine then i see no reason why ITV1 HD would not be working. If your ITV2HD is working, then your ITV1 HD Westcountry should also be working as it is on the same frequency as ITV2HD!

So you cant "get everything else" then. In which case it will be the usual suspects : dish alignment issue, line of sight blocked, LNB failure, cable issues, connection issues, receiver failure. Get your local dish company out for a look...

Yes, SD versions of Sky Sports and Sky Cinema close today! And then other Sky SD channels will only be available on HD boxes.

Sounds like you have not aligned the dish on the correct satellite if only getting arab channels - Astra 2 is the main UK TV satellite, sounds you may be on Hotbird at 13 or Arabsat at 26? But depends where in "south spain" you are, as that will determine what channels you can get, and what size of dish you need for channel like BBC and ITV. If in the CdS then you will not get BBC ITV C4 etc from astra 2 unless you have a 5m dish as the UK beam they are on is very weak in the south of spain. Channel like Sky News and a few others should be available to you as they are on a "euro" beam.

If you got C4HD before they regionalised C4HD, then it should still work...as the preregionalise version is now C4HD London. Check to see if you can actually get the C4HD London signal, by seeing if you can get 4seven...they are on the same frequency...so if you get 4seven, you should get C4HD London on the frequency shown in the video. If you do not get 4seven, then you will not get the C4HD London, and you will need either a larger dish or your dish realigned

The video, the description, and even the screen shot from Sky themselves say they are closing the SD versions of the Cinema and Sports channels...for those in the UK (but not ROI). So not "fake news". But thanks for your comment.

I dont think that is an Android version, where it would be in the Playstore. So you would probably need to install ExpressVPN at router level, and connect the MAG box to that router
