I was thinking of getting a satellite dish as a hobby. Can you get world TV channels through a dish in the UK?
I'm interested in local news and local channels.

You will get whatever channels you can, depending where you are, what size dish you have, and which satellites you aim for. AStra 1 at 19 and Hotbird at 13 do a lot of European channels
