Sky subscribers still using an old grey Sky digibox will be seeing the number of channels that they can view has drastically reduced.
Many UK TV channels have moved to broadcasting exclusively in HD, which makes them unavailable on older Standard Definition digiboxes
And all Sky channels will be moving to a new transmission standard, that the older Standard Definition digiboxes are not compatible with.
This will effectively kill off the old standard definition Sky digiboxes.
And viewers will have to upgrade to a Sky HD, Sky Plus HD, or skyq digibox to continue to watch their Sky pay channels.

I still managed to tune in Sky Sports on Different frequency on old sky sd box

I like back in Sky analogue days then put sky sports channels on Different frequency before Shutting it down completely

We have now August and not All SKY SD Channels have Changed. Some are still in DVB-S The Kids Channels, MTV, and Few Others.
And Some Are Change but still do not have his Names.. just Numbers.
And SKY Showcase SD has Switched back to DVB-S, (they send in both variations now)
By the Way Why is SKY Sending the channel TNT Sports 1 on the Feed Channel SKY Sports Active..?

I think all (if not most) Sky channels (ie owned by Sky) are now DVBS2. But some channels not operated by Sky, like MTV, UKTV, are still on DVBS.
