Ohh awesome video. I’m really looking into the pathfinders. You answered questions I was asking when I picked up my bike. Definitely got lost in my area and still do. lol

I do agree with the tubeless, but an alternative is lining the rim with a spare split open tube. Not that mich weight and will permit to both lower the pressure and reduce thorn associatied punctures. Cheap and very effetive
Thanks for watching and the comment. That’s a fantastic tip. I never thought about that. I recently had a slow leak on my road bike where the sealant got under the rim tape and came out the spoke. Local shop came to the rescue.
Shane, I'm doing group rides with road bikes. They're averaging, say, 15 - 20 mph. Would pathfinders increase speed? Also, would you get a new wheelset with a deep section? I love that I can go on dirt roads on my gravel bike if there's a section, then back on the pavement.
Hey @eric_remias a gravel bike should have non problem achieving a speed of 15-20 mph. Pathfinders or gravelkings will definitely aid in reducing rolling resistance. I am running 47mm tires and a was passing road bikes last weekend without issue. A possibility to look at is getting a second set of wheels with road tires on it, but then your gravel bike will limit your gearing ratios. I’d say, but Tim in the saddle and everything will fall into place.
Tubbless nope never...you can get nylon or kevlar bands for your tires and rims for puncture protection off road...And the myth of the gravel bike is hugely overated to the point you see world cup racing bikes trying to get through deep sand pits as part of the race...its just become a joke...they are nothing more than a marketing exercise to make money !!!
Ayyyy great video Shane!

My shop turned me onto the Pathfinder and hooked em up tubeless on my do-it-all Kona Unit. They roll fast and grip
Nice. I had them a few bikes ago in my gravel diamondback. I love them. They are the best all rounder by far.
Love the wear whatever you want to wear 😂👍🏾
Comfort over fashion. 😂

Same. I swear by TPU tubes.
35mm tires with TPU tubes!
