They are both the same quality. It just depends if you’re using an iPhone lightening or usbc charger. I don’t have the lightening port so I use the M1.

Is the sound and noise cancellation the same on both c1 and m1

You have been a big help, I just need it for my android phone, the price difference is only $15 but I'd rather get the c1 as its simple plug and play, and it will work better for my videos.

@@Thefilmyfamily786 yes. I have found they are the same. I also use CapCut for all my videos and I reduce background noise as well.

One more question, is the noise cancellation same on both, I basically am trying to avoid distortion in my videos from walking and talking.

Well said. My fav comment by far. Ride to ride. Everything else will fall into place. I saved to buy my first road bike in 2010 for $1000. I didn’t even know what a power meter was or GPS navigation. I bought an odometer from Walmart just to track my distance. A lot is lost in technology, and like you said, it’s the simple pleasure of riding

Sorry for that. I uploaded it from my iPhone to RUclips and the WiFi/ 5G connection was bouncing back and forth. I notice the issue when watching from a laptop, but it seems fine like my original upload from watching on a phone. Thanks for the tip. I’ll monitor the levels more closely next time and upload from my static computer.

I didn’t get my first power meter until riding a road bike for 12 years. Nothing changed for me once adding one. That’s what I’m getting at. Not to say don’t get a power meter, but there are other things I would do/get first.

@@calidomestique When I first started out the most significant upgrade I got was a power meter. So Power meter over carbon. Becoming aware of power output, tracking it, and training to it is so much more advantageous than having a budget carbon frame. Power meter cranks right now (Sept 2024) can be had for $250.

Yeah. Electric shifting seem to be the norm. I still prefer mechanical shifting and simplicity. Don’t get me wrong I have power and it’s a great tool. But if I don’t have it I’d till probably ride the same. Thank for watching.

LA County definitely needs to step up their road maintenance. You almost need gravel bike tires. I run tubeless now and it’s better. But with tubes, I always got flats.

It was 33.6 miles. I started at Will Rodger’s State Beach and Rode to Paradise Cove and return. Have you ridden the PCH / HWY 1? It’s beautiful. Not really a bike lane though. Traffic was friendly today.

I will definitely bring this up to the team captains. And then next time I’ll edit those stop signs out of the video. 😆 have a great weekend.

Curious if you plan on making more long ride videos. One of the best I have seen as a POV from California with overlay allowed music. These would be great to have for upcoming long indoor sitting on the trainer competing on Zwift.

I know the light. Yes you can, but max brightness is reduced to around the medium brightness setting while it's running on an external battery

Hey @eric_remias a gravel bike should have non problem achieving a speed of 15-20 mph. Pathfinders or gravelkings will definitely aid in reducing rolling resistance. I am running 47mm tires and a was passing road bikes last weekend without issue. A possibility to look at is getting a second set of wheels with road tires on it, but then your gravel bike will limit your gearing ratios. I’d say, but Tim in the saddle and everything will fall into place.
