I daily'd a 2020 supra and in one year put 22k miles on it before i had to part ways for a family truck. It got 26 mpg in city and 32 hwy. No issues with it. Great video man. Love the part about showing it to the kids and sharing it. I come from the same generation as you. Grand tourismo, need for speed, fast and the furious. Getting in a car like this when I was 14 would have been life changing and that’s what the car community should be about. Great stuff man and beautiful car!
Thanks man! Yes, you definitely know where I am coming from and seeing others get excited/happy about the car honestly makes me more happy than being in my own car. Appreciate it and thanks for commenting!
Heck yeah, especially as we take our own vehicles for granted some days. I found out a coworkers kid loved my car (M240i). So I came up to the house and took him for a rip, his father figured I made his week and he took lots of pictures. It took me back to being a young lad, my head turning on a dime hearing a neighbours M5 take off a few houses down. It was humbling and just a nice moment to realize that I might be 'that guy' to a new generation. Still have to test drive a Supra though, I can't stop lusting until I decide between it and what I have now.
Great video! Looking into getting the 2023 and trying to learn the monthly/yearly costs behind such an expensive but beautiful car. This helped out a lot. Keep it up!
Thank you! Glad I was able to help. Definitely the goal of the video was to let people know just because you can get the car, doesn’t mean that the maintenance will be cheap. If you have any other questions, let me know!
@@VinceChristmastree I know you don't specify in the video, but since you've owned the car, how much have you roughly spent for maintenance/other costs on the car? What's the highest expense you've encountered?
me and my brother just rented a Supra for Vegas and was surprised how small it is inside compared to his 350z lol idk if the 350 and 370 have similar ingress/egress, but found that getting in and out of the Z is a little better compared to the lower roof of the supra. overall, 'd daily the supra cuz i love the b58 in that!
If you can, try to get one used that is not selling for MSRP or higher. Not sure what trim Challenger you have, but if it's not the Hellcat, you'll like it more. There's a lot of former Challenger owners in the groups and they all love the car more.
good honest review your list of CONS is kinda Pros for me I WANT a low, lightweight small 2 seater The attention is meh im indifferent , my old Yas Marina Blue F80 got the same Expensive keeps the kids away from ricing it out I am not tall so yea
The only thing holding me back from the supra is the sub-par sound system. Yes, I know you can upgrade it aftermarket, but I hate the idea of already bending and removing car panels on a new car just to get a decent sound system.
Yeah considering the premium sound system is JBL, it’s subpar plus the rattling is annoying. There is a fix, but yeah it does mean removing the panels.
I must have this car. Probably going to supercharge my FRS first since its 1/10th the price but eventually I have to have this. Great video! Just what I was looking for thank you kind sir :)
Thank you so much Varman! You’ll love the Supra if you love your FRS. Maybe you can save those funds to get a Supra 😅 either way, a supercharged FRS is freaking sick! Let me know if you have any questions.
Wow thanks for the full information about the car...already saving up for the manual 2023 and ordered it. Wait is 3 to 6 months or longer but I don't mind, winter is coming and don't want it during that time yet until spring at least. It will be my first new car myself. Owned 2nd hand cars till now. It was always manual. I was going to get the Subaru STi but they stopped making em. I was so devastated. I wanted a 4 wheel driver car but the Supra takes you to another level but I hope it drives well in the winter if not I'll store it at my father in laws.
You're welcome and thanks for taking the time to comment! I've had so many STIs so I know how you feel. Even though they are expensive to make go fast, the experience to drive it is amazing. The Supra will be fine I think in the winter assuming you have a winter setup. If you want a AWD car, the RS3 is great, but it's DCT. You could look at the previous generation Golf R for a manual or current gen if you're okay with DCT.
Great video Vince, and great name 😉. Have a F30 340i right now but was itching to get a Supra next because I miss the handling of a sports car. Beautiful set up!
There’s so many dream cars that I would love to have. From mustangs to single cab pickups, I never really paid too much attention to jdm cars such as Toyotas and Nissans but after checking this Supra, civic si, and some other cars in really starting to want this car more and more. Currently I have a 96 Chevy pickup truck but I would definitely like to have a fun, less gas hogging vehicle and the Supra kind of hits the nail of wanting something fun, fast, and reliable. It’s expensive but that’s what you gotta pay to have something like that :D
Believe it or, I sold my Porsche for this Supra 3.0T , with the mod, it run 100% fast and handle the same as the Porsche in corners ! Operation costs are much lower !
Amazing! What Porsche did you have? Yes, even if it's a BMW at heart, it's still going to be cheaper to operate since Toyota put it through their tests. Hope you're enjoying the car!
I wanted a manual supra and couldn’t wait for the 23 model year, ended up with 22 2ss 1le camaro manual. Will be test driving the upcoming manual Supra and see how does it compare
A 2SS 1LE Camaro is no joke. They sound amazing with cams and headers. There's so many of them here in OK though! I had someone reach out to me to drive and review their 2023 manual Supra so I'll be posting a video on that!
Thanks Billy for the support! It’s definitely an interesting car and I’m sure that if you keep working at it and get some luck on your side, you’ll be able to own one!
Thanks Mr Long! Those are sweet cars and are appreciating. If you had anything else, I would sell it, but a clean S2K and E46 M3s are investments now. I want to get another S2K and a super clean white E46 M3. Wait for the market to slow down and snag a MK5 for cheap if anything!
2023 manual supra with that oem wing thats the winnder to me i bought my car brand new feb of 2020 and about 2 months later covid hit along with the covid tax im glad i bought my car. no regrets. because i missed out on the ridiculous inflation. but i did always want a manual supra with an oem wing. and they read my mind and put a wing on it from factory. man i really like that car
The RS3 is a fantastic car! I test drove one and I remember how quick and planted it was in the pouring rain. I'm sure that you can get pretty good money for your car if you decided to trade it in!
@@Rs3mocha Yeah in that case, keep it! The RS3 is a monster and you can mod it to be 800whp and still have enough space to haul your friends and family!
We have an MK5 Supra club and a guy keeps showing up to our meets with an MK4. It sucks because people just crowd around his car and on the cruises he clowns everyone, It will leave two long black strips on a 60 roll. No one wants to tell him "hey it's an MK5 club"
Always some sour apples in the bunch. Sorry to hear that someone like that can be such an asshat. Sometimes, taking the high road is the way to go because in my experience, when giving someone like that the time of day, it just ends up being a bad time. As long as you guys have a fantastic time without that guy, then keep chugging along!
Not the first time I heard that honestly! I’m assuming you did adjust the seat to the lowest and furthest position? Have a buddy who is 7’0” who dailies their Supra somehow lol
Thank you! I’ve had so many silver cars that I wanted to get a different color, but people say the silver looks good. It does look cool at night when the light starts hitting it! Downshift blue is so sick. Pretty rare color too!
I have a 2020 Supra and put maybe 2k in it total and it looks so good literally just an open intake and a charge pipe and maybe a resonator and muffler delete and your set. Getting this to 700 hp is ridiculous honestly it doesn’t need it.
Depends on what you want to do with it. If you're going to take it around the circuit or canyons, then yes, most likely you will not need the power. All we have really are straight highways in OK and TX so it's all about straight line speed.
I have a 2019 Chevy Cruze that's my daily, but I really looking forward to getting a mk5 like this as my weekend and fun vehicle I always had a thing for jdm but classic jdm cars are getting so expensive and hard to find.. I'm 6'1 tho I hope I can manage getting in it lol.
Hey Darren! Yeah the MK5 would be a great choice (as clearly I’m biased). You’ll be able to fit in it just fine, I have taller friends than 6’1” and they fit in fine after they slouch a little bit to get seated due to the roofline being low.
I’ve been eyeing the new Supras since I was in college. It sucks that nowadays, most dealerships will mark these cars up 10k-20k so I don’t think I will be able to get one in the near future, at least for new. I am looking to find one used, so I’m just wondering, what’s a high mileage for sports cars like these? Typical daily drivers (Camry, Corolla, etc) are considered pretty new if they have 10k - 20k miles. I’m not sure if sports cars are the same way, or if they age like milk LOL. What mileage should I try to aim for if I’m trying to buy used?
High mileage in my opinion would be cars that have over 15-20k miles. Sadly, not a lot of owners drive their cars. As for the mileage to aim for, it really depends. I would suggest going for a 2020 so you don't have to deal with a unit that could potentially have an oil burning issue and you can at least mod the ECU if you want without having to pay up the ass to get it unlocked and all that. Also be aware of examples that have been modded before and returned to stock since people take shortcuts sometimes. I got lucky with mine, bought it with 6.3k miles modded, but really well taken care of and I have not had any problems with it.
@@VinceChristmastree thanks for the advice, I’ll see if I stumble upon any used supras that people are looking to offload, if I could get it even at MSRP with minimal mileage (
Awesome video!, I see you have mud flaps installed, I heard that some of the mud flaps people have on their supra started experiencing rust issues around the bolts area. Have you had any issues concerning the mud flap bolts area?
Yes, I have the ZL1 mudguards. Nothing so far with the screws. If anything, I could just go to Ace Hardware near me and buy stainless steel hardware to replace the original one!
@@VinceChristmastree You should of gotten PPF. Look at all those ugly stone chips on the front, really makes the car ugly. Why spend that kind of money on a car and cheap out on PPF? I PPF'd my F82 M4 the day I got it, was worth every penny.
@@3rayallen Oh absolutely. Definitely a big regret of mine and my friend who does this professionally reminds me every time I see him. I was more concerned dumping money to go fast and neglected the PPF...now I learned the hard way.
Never understood how people can be so upset over a car being small. I daily a 2016 miata and I'm 6'1". What's more impractical- the size of my car? Or your soccer mom's 18mpg wind kite SUV lol.
I think the hate on the Supra because it is really a BMW is because people want Toyota reliability and serviceability. You say you don't understand the issue, but that is it plain and simple. A BMW cost a significant amount to maintain. Parts are ultra expensive. Service costs are ultra expensive. Reliability is nowhere near as good as Toyota. The BMW M4 (Pre-Giant Buck-Teeth styling) was a great sports car, but I wouldn't want to own one because I would not be willing to put up with its reliability and maintenance costs. I want to keep my cars AT LEAST 10 years. These things aren't going to be feasible for keeping on the road 10 years unless you are willing to spend A LOT of money maintaining it.
I mean you're not wrong about it being expensive. It's a 57k car so of course stuff isn't going to be cheap. Reliability is up there as plenty of owners have racked up insane miles on their units with no major issues other than the oil burning issue for the 2021+ A91s. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be like you where they plan on keeping their cars for 10+ years. A handful of owners have already put up 80-90K miles on theirs with just routine maintenance. If you have a little knowhow, oil changes, brake pads, rotors, etc. are quite easy to do. Tires will be expensive if you've ever owned a sports car in this price range. If you plan on taking it to the dealer, then obviously it's going to be pricey. I'm sure you've heard of "fast, cheap, fun...choose two of those in a sports car". It definitely applies in this case. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Thanks for the kind words Justin! I’m excited for you! You’re going to love it. I tinted my front 50% and sides/rear 30% Llumar IRX. It’s pricey, but damn it helps a lot with the heat rejection. So worth it!!
Glad I randomly seen this on my feed, I been thinking about trading my 370z for one. Sound like a perfect daily driver but being im 6’3 I might need to find one in person to see if I can even fit in it
Thanks for watching Don! Much appreciated. At 6'3", you will be able to fit inside the cabin just fine. Getting in and out might just be annoying, but it's doable. Check out my latest video where I show my 7'0" tall friend showcasing how he gets in/out of his MK5 Supra!
Thanks man! Supra and Stinger are in different segments entirely. Do you need the space and want something enjoyable? Stinger would be the way to go. It's not as moddable though if that is something you do for your cars.
The reason why people hate on the new Supra is the fact that bmw is not known for their reliability so yes bmws are great sports cars, but at the same token people are upset because they don’t think it’s going to be reliable since it has German touches if that makes sense
I would say GR Yaris, it’ll be more enjoyable in my opinion. You’ll be looking for more power with a 2.0 Supra. However, if you don’t care that much, I personally would say the GR Yaris. I haven’t driven one, but I’ve driven a GR Corolla.
Great video! How long do the factory tires last compared to a decent set of upgraded tires ? I intend on buying a Supra and using it as a daily also. Mostly highway driving to and fro ( work)
Thanks Rico! The factory tires last 15-20k miles assuming you’re not doing burnouts or anything. Maybe could last longer. If you don’t need a bunch of space and you’re not having a bunch of passengers, you’ll enjoy it as a daily! Just make sure to get PPF, it is a MUST.
Yes, I have Llumar IRX tint all around. 50% on the front and 35% all around. It’s actually not bad at all from the interior. It looks much darker from the outside!
After making it through the pandemic and the ensuing car shortage, I'm going to upgrade from my 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT Manual. I've seen Supras in Santa Monica but not driven one. Good to see your positive owner POV. Does the passenger seat fold down? I need to fit a kiteboard bag from the back, but that could only happen if the seat folds. Thanks
Hi! Thanks for commenting. You can push it forwards and recline it to the front most position. It won’t completely fold unfortunately. I’ll try it in the morning and I’ll report back on how far it goes.
Just checked this and the front seat will move as far as the rails go, probably a foot or foot and a half of clearance from the back of the seat to the speakers and the seat will only recline forwards a maximum of about 90 degrees. Hope that helps!
@@VinceChristmastree awesome, thanks for checking. So by 90° you mean the seat back is straight up vertical? Does it seem like a kiteboard or a shortboard can fit when inserted from the trunk towards the passenger seat?
@@CalifornianWayfarer Yes, that is correct. Maybe leans a little bit forward, but not much. From the chassis brace in the cabin (behind the seats), it's 40 inches from there to the end of the trunk. You can potentially fit skinny items further into the cabin, but it will rob some of your arm space and might intrude the cup holder area.
Very nice detailed and informative video bro! This was a very useful video for me because I own a CTR right and now have been thinking of making a move to the supra since I don’t really need the extra space in the R. When you bought the Supra, did you ever look back or regret selling your Type R??
Thanks Brandon! The CTR was amazing in the 9 months that I owned it and I do miss it, however, when I do drive my Supra, I am reminded that I made the right choice. If you don't really need the space, then the Supra would be a great choice! I do wish that I could keep both, but if I had to choose one, I would choose the Supra.
@@VinceChristmastree all the ones near me are like a good 55k plus don’t got the extra almost 15k lol I feel like the 2.0 is very capable still has 5 second 0-60
Oh really? Where are you located? Try using Autotempest.com since it compiles all the websites to find one you like. Up to you if you can fly out and drive it back. 2.0 is plenty fun. I have a friend with it and him and his wife enjoy it so much.
Beautiful car man, is it ceramic coated? The shine is amazing. The shot of the Supra meet just shows how good this car can look in literally every color.
Thanks man! It is not, I plan on doing that myself once I learn how to. Wanting to learn how to buff and polish cars so I can do that on the side. Yes! Glad I remembered to put the meet footage here because it was so awesome seeing different colors and styles of Supras.
Change your own oil, absolutely! You just need a jack, jackstands, ratchet, 17mm and 22mm sockets and you’re ready to go. As for modification, it’s more on the complex side so I would say start with a Honda since they are super simple to mod and understand since the B58 platform gets somewhat technical. Not difficult by any means, but can get confusing.
"I luv to modify my cars and drive the Fuck out of them" Vince Christmastree. Im the proud owner of a 45th anniversary manual 🍊 here. Appreciate all your videos and info.
In terms of being fun, absolutely, but would I trade the ZF8 for a manual? No. I’m getting older and lazier and rowing gears in traffic isn’t really my thing anymore. The radar cruise control on the car is so nice and the ZF8 is so fast that I would take it any day. If I had enough money, then I would get a manual MK5 Supra as another fun car. It wouldn’t be replacing my silver car.
Biggest Con is it's RWD. Most of us have to deal with snow and I would not daily a nice RWD car in the snow lol this is why I got the M240i xdrive. Would've loved a Supra if it wasn't for snow.
Yeah that’s true especially if it’s lowered as well! I don’t think there’s any 2 door sports coupes that have AWD sadly. The RS3 and the new M240i X-Drive is a fantastic choice for areas that get a ton of snow!!
@@VinceChristmastree I've found being lowered isn't as big of a problem as having FWD or AWD with good snow tires. I just sold my Fiesta ST that was tucking tire and my lowered WRX did just fine. But agreed! M240i and RS3 are nice alternatives for dailys that'll deal with snow. Enjoy the Supra man! I'll have to get one someday
@@TypicalTomTV driving a rwd car in the snow is no different man just get good tires you’ll be more then fine do some research or experience it for yourself before you just start talking
Can’t really give you a super accurate answer since I live in a different part of the country. I know some people have an extra set of wheels with snow tires and they’re fine. If you are able to go that route, you definitely should. During the summers/spring, get quality all seasons like Pilot AS3s which grip really well for all seasons and handle amazing even in rain. The stock super sports are decent in the rain and useless with snow lol
Have you ever sat in an nd Miata rf ? I have one and am thinking of switching to the 2023 manual supra. I figure the level of comfort and room inside is at least somewhat better. Just wanted to know your opinion
Thanks for commenting! Yes, I've sat in an RF that a friend of mine owns. The Supra has more space, but the visibility might be a little bit worse. It's been a while since I've sat in it, but if your nearest dealer has a Supra, definitely check if you can sit in it! I was very comfortable in the ND RF and it didn't feel too different from my car. For reference, I'm 5'9" and 180lbs.
@@VinceChristmastree thanks buddy yeah I called a dealership they’re getting a Supra in a few weeks they said I can check it out. Cannot wait for the manual thanks for the help
100%. Had a kid when I first got it talking mad crap about the car that the BMW drivetrain sucked then had a friend drive it with him sitting shotgun. They came back and kid completely changed his tune lol
i hate the look of the steering wheel gives the interior look bad but dont get me wrong i love the supra so much it gives a ninja vibe and its amazing but if i had the chance to switch some stuff for the interior is def the steering wheel look and make it a mix with race and luxury type of stearing wheel kind of like the SRT steering wheel and id change the button lighting color from orange to white kind of give it a luxury vibe when im inside the car at night
Yeah I ended up changing my steering wheel and I should have done it sooner. I do wish we were able to change the accent lighting. It defaults to orange at night.
Beautiful Supra. Loved the video. What wing do you have on the duck tail? Makes it look so much better. I am hoping to get the 2023 A91. Have a deposit on one hope it works out.
@@VinceChristmastree Hopefully within 2 weeks. I think it was the first batch built. I called a lot of dealers who had A91 builds and found one 3 hours away that wasn’t pre-sold. 1200 Toyota dealers and only 500 A91’s being made.
Hey Vince, I have a 2018 WRX I can pretty much trade it in for the price I bought it for. Should I trade in for the manual Supra or do you recommend the auto?
Hey! Thanks for commenting. Depends on your usage. Auto for daily driver duties because of how great the ZF8 is. If it’ll be your weekend car, manual 100%. Video will be going up soon on the manual!
It can be quick but that's about it. The windshield is like looking through the clear glass of a welding helmet. I hit my head just getting into it. Way too crammed and not a good feel for me. It felt like I was in a cocoon and always looking up at the sky. also the pillar sticks out and obstructs the view. I had 3 mk4 Supras and the mk5 was a big disappointment.
Thanks for the feedback! You're probably taller than me and if you indeed are, that's what every tall person has said to me. Someone in our local group is 7'0" so I don't know how they do it lol
Yeah the car is too good to pass up on if you have the capability to buy it. I’ve had a WRX, multiple STIs, an FK8 Type R and the Supra has been my favorite car.
Depends on who you're talking to. Personally for me, I want to always drive an exciting car and typically those are sports cars. I don't mind the compromises related to those types of cars. Like what they say, "life is too short to drive boring cars". If life permits, I will always daily a sports car.
Lol I didn’t think about that since I’m not a big dude. Are you looking into aftermarket seats? Could possibly sell the OEM ones to offset the cost of the seat/rail.
As someone, who is Single, and doesnt want any Children.. this Car is indeed a Dream. I drive right now a i30n, its nice, but.. as strange as it sounds, i want a smaller Car. And funny Thing, a MK5 Supra is cheaper to maintain than an i30n in Germany.
Wow, that's really surprising! In your case, you can't go wrong with this car. At least you have access to beautiful roads and scenery in the EU compared to the US, where you have to really drive far for different locations.
The hate comes from all the small minorities of people that can't afford it. They look for every excuse they can to make themselves feel better. The majority of people praise it. I get alot of looks, thumbs up and cheers from people on the street with my 21 3.0 Premium.
Yeah, I have not heard any of the hate/crap thrown at the car for those who have actually driven it. It's all from people that only see it on paper. Shame because it is right up there with the S2K I owned in terms of just pure enjoyability. Not saying they are the same, but I enjoyed them about the same.
Good vid covers a lot of stuff with GR Supra. Like yr colour you chose too never seen that colour in the U.K besides once. I’m trying to get a used red or white I think as (yellow seems to attract too many bugs) for £40,000 after my 2017 GT86.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! Funny you mention that because silver is such a common color for cars here and I've owned so many silver cars so I never really thought about it. Red or white would be awesome! Red is my favorite color so I'm biased. If you can get a deal on a used one that hasn't been abused, definitely go for it. If you can get a new one at MSRP, then jump on that since I'm not familiar with the car market in the UK!
Cheers for the reply. U.K people mostly go for white or black cars not sure why, occasional Silver Mercedes. I’m gonna buy low mileage below 20,000 miles if I can used for GR Supra. MSRP usually fine here for new cars, just wait times a pain. If I spot a rare U.K Silver GR Supra like yrs I’ll be on that in quick, or the dark blue one also which is also pretty rare here. We get Warranty through dealers for used cars so will probably go that route. Keep up the great info.
Yeah! I couldn’t believe it at first. Drove it more and kept getting the same result 😂 I’ve had the Type R and I actually loved how it looks, but I love the Supra so much more.
I love my supra but warranty support etc from Toyota is a nightmare. It's truly despicable for people who keep their car stock and dependent on toyota to service the thing. I've had nothing but headaches now and regret buying mine. Most people don't seem to have issues with it, but the few of us who do, are going through nightmare.
Great feedback and that’s terrible! I’ve read about people having massive issues depending on their location. Have you tried contacting Toyota USA to see if they would do anything? I never mentioned that in my video (regrettably) because I work on my own car just because I don’t trust the dealership because of stories like that.
@@VinceChristmastree yeah I contacted corporate. The parts needed in my case are at the hands of bmw because toyota doesn't even have part numbers for it. My oil level check via idrive doesn't work so I had to get my oil pump and oil level sensor replaced. Doing this required subframe to come out. And all I'm waiting for is the new subframe bolts which bmw had to order and not even toyota. It's a joke really. I hope to be compensated in some way. 3 weeks going on 4 it's sitting at dealer.

@@jortenthusiast Sorry just saw this, but mainly tires. Full set of the tires can cost anywhere above $1100.
Thats a super super clean A90 Supra right there. Very tastefully done. Subbed!
Thank you! I appreciate the sub!
I drive mine every day, love it! Easy to drive. I think my 370z is harder to get out of. And the visibility is better than my z.
Glad you’re enjoying it! Are you considering the new Z?
Yes, we are going to get the new z, thought about making a comparison video, as far as which is a better daily after a while.
@@kekonit2126 Yes please do! That would be an awesome video to watch from an actual owner/user of it instead of just car reviewers' opinions.
me and my brother just rented a Supra for Vegas and was surprised how small it is inside compared to his 350z lol idk if the 350 and 370 have similar ingress/egress, but found that getting in and out of the Z is a little better compared to the lower roof of the supra. overall, 'd daily the supra cuz i love the b58 in that!
I just got a nice pay raise, I’m thinking about buying one stock off the lot for a dd. I think I’ll like it as much as my challenger, hopefully.
If you can, try to get one used that is not selling for MSRP or higher. Not sure what trim Challenger you have, but if it's not the Hellcat, you'll like it more. There's a lot of former Challenger owners in the groups and they all love the car more.
good honest review
your list of CONS is kinda Pros for me
I WANT a low, lightweight small 2 seater
The attention is meh im indifferent , my old Yas Marina Blue F80 got the same
Expensive keeps the kids away from ricing it out
I am not tall so yea
I appreciate it! In that case, all pros for you then! I think you would definitely enjoy the Supra :)

Congrats Alejandro! Enjoy it and make sure to drive the heck out of it!
Beautiful car, hoping to get the manual version in the near future. Great video!
Thanks!! Hoping you’re able to grab one as well without paying a crazy markup!
That's going to be every car you own lol cause almost every sound system from the factory sounds alright, especially with no sub
@@cormaro13 Good point!
Just listen to the engine sound

You’re right - it works, and it works very well. A great car!
Yup it’s freaking great!

Go for it! You won’t regret it at all. Super easy to make power and really nice (in my opinion).
"I mod them and like to drive the fuck out of them" I'm in the right place then!
Lol!! Yes sir you definitely are! One of us, one of us.
Thanks fellow Vince! You have a much better name than me 😂 you’ll love the Supra and how it drives!
The JDM scene is a deep hole to get into. Very enjoyable since the Japanese like to make some crazy and unique cars. I think you'll enjoy the journey!
great video mayne. can't wait to get mine to buzz around the OC streets !
Thanks Gina! I’m jealous. OC is pretty nice compared to where I’m from!
Seeing your license plate made me subscribe immediately
Lmao! Thanks Eric! Glad someone finally said something about it 😂😂
Believe it or, I sold my Porsche for this Supra 3.0T , with the mod, it run 100% fast and handle the same as the Porsche in corners !

Glad a legend decided to get a Supra too! You'll love it and don't be afraid to drive the heck out of it!
Well made video and beautiful car. Supra is definitely one of my favorite cars to study on at the moment. Maybe I’ll be able to afford one in 20 years

Great review! Should I sell my s2k and e46m3 for an mk5 supra like yours? So tempting
I guess the 3.0 will be much power for me, I gonna "downgrade" myself with 2.0 so will keep me away from the cops

Thanks Axel! Yes, that was it! I also appreciate your kind words. I could not remember the event name for some reason. Which one was your car?
I’m 6’2 and I drive a s2k. When I hopped in the Supra for a test drive and it did feel cramped
Not the first time I heard that honestly! I’m assuming you did adjust the seat to the lowest and furthest position? Have a buddy who is 7’0” who dailies their Supra somehow lol
silver looks really good on it tbh
Thank you! I’ve had so many silver cars that I wanted to get a different color, but people say the silver looks good. It does look cool at night when the light starts hitting it! Downshift blue is so sick. Pretty rare color too!
@@astrayproductions silver is easy to keep clean too
I have a 2020 Supra and put maybe 2k in it total and it looks so good literally just an open intake and a charge pipe and maybe a resonator and muffler delete and your set. Getting this to 700 hp is ridiculous honestly it doesn’t need it.
Depends on what you want to do with it. If you're going to take it around the circuit or canyons, then yes, most likely you will not need the power. All we have really are straight highways in OK and TX so it's all about straight line speed.
Great video, definitely thinking of getting one
You should!
@@VinceChristmastree thanks for the advice, I’ll see if I stumble upon any used supras that people are looking to offload, if I could get it even at MSRP with minimal mileage (
@@andrewchang7194 Are you in the FB groups? Some members are selling their used Supras and you could probably talk them down for a deal.

Never understood how people can be so upset over a car being small. I daily a 2016 miata and I'm 6'1". What's more impractical- the size of my car? Or your soccer mom's 18mpg wind kite SUV lol.
It’s interesting for sure lol you’re like the 4th or 5th person who mentioned they daily a Miata as a taller person.
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
the supra looks good but at that price point i'd say an m240i is also good, same power and it offers xDrive
Yup, basically a 4 seater, AWD Supra. Will be great for those who need the extra space! I would love to be able to drive one of those bad boys.
awesome video!! have one coming in next month after such a long wait. i was wondering what you tinted your sides and front windshield ty!

Thank you so much Miguel! I appreciate the support!
The reason why people hate on the new Supra is the fact that bmw is not known for their reliability so yes bmws are great sports cars, but at the same token people are upset because they don’t think it’s going to be reliable since it has German touches if that makes sense
Understandable. So far so good on my end, seems like Toyota put their magic touch on the German stuff.
@@VinceChristmastree Yea I forgot to mention that Toyota went over everything that bmw had for them and whatever they didn’t like they sent it back

Nice. Def eye catching...Maintenance...that part though

Good video, I'm trying to decide between 2.0 supra or gr yaris, both same price as used in my country.

@@VinceChristmastree great thanks
Great review. 👍🏻

Yes! Glad I remembered to put the meet footage here because it was so awesome seeing different colors and styles of Supras.
Informative! If I'm new to cars, but really drawn to this one.. Is the MK5 worth learning how to change your own oil and modify?
Change your own oil, absolutely! You just need a jack, jackstands, ratchet, 17mm and 22mm sockets and you’re ready to go. As for modification, it’s more on the complex side so I would say start with a Honda since they are super simple to mod and understand since the B58 platform gets somewhat technical. Not difficult by any means, but can get confusing.

I'm running 305/35/18 tires on the rear now.
cool vid! Do you reckon your car 700hp would be more fun with a manual?
How well does the Supra handle in the winter time? I live in the PNW n the winters can be really rainy , sometimes a few inches of snow.
I Agree the supra is more better looking in person
Almost everyone I’ve talked to have said it looks better in person. Stock height looks ugly IMO. Looks way better lowered!
i hate the look of the steering wheel gives the interior look bad but dont get me wrong i love the supra so much it gives a ninja vibe and its amazing but if i had the chance to switch some stuff for the interior is def the steering wheel look and make it a mix with race and luxury type of stearing wheel kind of like the SRT steering wheel and id change the button lighting color from orange to white kind of give it a luxury vibe when im inside the car at night
Thanks Bob! Much appreciated. Previous owner actually added the spoiler. It's a Rexspeed forged carbon lip:

@@VinceChristmastree Thanks my A91 is in NJ waiting to ship to dealer. I am so pumped.
Heck yeah! When are you expecting to get it?
@@VinceChristmastree Hopefully within 2 weeks. I think it was the first batch built. I called a lot of dealers who had A91 builds and found one 3 hours away that wasn’t pre-sold. 1200 Toyota dealers and only 500 A91’s being made.
@@bobb.7899 Wow! I did not realize it was only that amount! I hope it lives up to the hype!
I want this or a Infiniti q60rs as my next car in a few years when I’m ready to move on from my g37 sedan
B58 the world!
Yeah, I’ll keep my 80s Supras 👍🔥💪
They’re pretty sweet!
Not really too many cons. Only 2 seater and low. I daily a WRX and it has a lot of the same Cons you mentioned
Yeah the car is too good to pass up on if you have the capability to buy it. I’ve had a WRX, multiple STIs, an FK8 Type R and the Supra has been my favorite car.
Need to get one when that stick comes out.
Go for it!!
The asian driver plate cover had me dead lmao
😎😎😎
Are sports cars really meant to be daily driven though? I feel like they should only be for the track, street racing, and weekend warriors.
Depends on who you're talking to. Personally for me, I want to always drive an exciting car and typically those are sports cars. I don't mind the compromises related to those types of cars. Like what they say, "life is too short to drive boring cars". If life permits, I will always daily a sports car.
Buying my Supra in June
That's coming up pretty quick! Excited for you!
Seats are not for big people lmao, Im 200lbs and the seats is uncomfortable for me
Lol I didn’t think about that since I’m not a big dude. Are you looking into aftermarket seats? Could possibly sell the OEM ones to offset the cost of the seat/rail.
I’m 6ft6 380 seats are comfortable
@@carmello000jp no way lol but ok
As someone, who is Single, and doesnt want any Children.. this Car is indeed a Dream.
I drive right now a i30n, its nice, but.. as strange as it sounds, i want a smaller Car. And funny Thing, a MK5 Supra is cheaper to maintain than an i30n in Germany.
Wow, that's really surprising! In your case, you can't go wrong with this car. At least you have access to beautiful roads and scenery in the EU compared to the US, where you have to really drive far for different locations.
I am a shy person and I’m 100‰ getting this car
Get it! It’s 10000% worth it!
Can it pop wheelies?
My f150 can .
Maybe one of these days with more boost? My Supra needs to take notes from your F150!
Is this your only vehicle ?
I have 2 other cars, a 2005 and 2006 STI. Planning on selling both though!
6.72KL/100KM wtf lol 😆 so good. It’s looks really good way better then the Intrgra / Nissan fairlady / Honda Civic R/ .
Holy shit what a nightmare. I’m sorry you have to go through that! I would be turned off by the whole experience too.
@@SlickSniper3 How much are they charging you?
@@lionedheart warranty covered everything. Thankfully I was stock.
Question I am 100kg and of 187cm ... would I fit comfortably In a 2.0 Supra?
Yes you should be able to and he’s 213cm and 143kg lol
