Yeah but it don't look like any old chav box, m140's most generic thing ever. Not special one bit, where the Supra has the edge. (Looks wise)

Got a stage 2+ 140i full remus back box.. I love the dam thing had it 2.5 years, but the look of this car makes me want to switch
I enquired about a tune on my Z4 m40i but was told the B58 ECU at least on the BMW is locked
Any BMW ECU made after June 2020 is Locked and has to be shipped to Femto to be unlocked

Sounds like the Active Sound Design is still enabled on this car in the cabin.. Overlapping the actual engine/exhaust notes makes for a cool trick though.

Why would a supra stage 2+ make 510bhp when a stage 2* M140i/M240i makes around 480-490bhp
I’d say probably cause it’s a gen 2 b58 a lot stronger internally I’ve heard so when mapping it can be pushed alot more (don’t quote me)
Manifold difference in porting, much much better in the Supra
Yeh, has a better fuel pump etc
Completely different turbo manifold compared to the BMW, better power for a normal turbo / small hybrid, but not so good for anything larger as it produces more heat. 👍

As a Z4 M40i owner I thoroughly approve of this Supra 😎
Ive got a more basic setup than that and I make the same exact power on 93 octane. BN downpipe, Stg 2 tune on BM3, no springs, more subtle spacers 13mm all around. And unfortunately the far shittier OEM steering wheel. With E30 fuel I make about 530 Bhp though.
510 on 93 but only 530 on E30?should be closer to 550-560,either your tuner is pushing the 93 or isn’t very experienced with ethanol.

Supra never came with xdrive then it could put the power down would make it more attractive to different clientele
Definitely a nice vehicle but it’s really just a BMW just like the 86 is just a Subaru.. I think Toyota is getting lazy. Or, they think they’re clever? Either way it’s a bit disappointing.
It work because it's another chassis for enthusiasts to mess with + quick aftermarket considering the brach of cars that share the same engine and chassis can help boost it even more on top of it already being a decent chassis for track(and drifting considering the 4 banger models exist). Say it makes sense in the case of it benefiting a new platform/ car for enthusiasts to mess with,along with providing aftermarket for other cars that share the same engine/trans that simultaneously grows the aftermarket for both the supra and other B58 cars altogether.

Just get any downpipe on the internet. They are all the same, it will not make a sound difference
Unless he’s running meth or e you can’t get 500+ whp on stock turbo…you run out of fuel. I can see this car being around 460-480 whp if tuned more aggressively
quote me if im wrong but I thought stock turbo can hold around the 550-600 mark, anything above that you will need to upgrade turbo?
