How heavy is your foot? I do drive mine in normal mode a majority of the time but if you’re driving yours in sport, then the car would be at higher RPMs and a lower gear when cruising highway speeds.

1. How do you open the hatch with that spoiler? 2. My 45th annivesary Supra has a front lip and side skirts from the factory. 3. How do you change the oil when your car is that low?
1. It opens just normally. Just be careful when parking on a hill or if there is strong wind because it can fall on your head. 2. Nice! Don't have to worry about it. Congrats on the purchase! 3. I have low-profile ramps that I drive on top of so I can slide my jack underneath the car then I just put jacks on the jack points like normal.
I have the A91-CF front lip overlays now instead of the MFR Engineering front splitter in this video. Because it sits the same height as the stock black lip, it does not scrape as much on bumps and slopes. Some of the higher ones I still do so I have to approach it at an angle.
Properly installed PPF won't do that unless you get a matte PPF which would make the paint look different of course. But I know people who put PPF on their cars over $300K and never have a problem.
@@VinceChristmastreelmfao I just watched your link you call that gapping someone? Bahaha that was even runs and the Supra has 400 lbs and turbo on the 5.0 lol
I had a 2018 that I sold to get the Supra! I do miss that car because of how comfortable, but also focused it was. The practicality was amazing and the fact it drove like a normal Civic and got great gas mileage when not in R+ mode was nice. If I had the choice, I would have both the Supra and Type R in my garage.
@VinceChristmastree It looks amazing, and the color changes wildly with lighting. It's a bit more of a pain to clean since you can't use anything with a wax tho!
Hi Lu, E50 is a the blend or mixture of ethanol and gasoline. You will have to make sure to get your car's ethanol percentage to 50%. If just regular fuel (91 or 93 octane if you are in the US) and you just have a downpipe, you will probably have around 420-430whp!
You can, but you won't be able to maximize the performance output without a tune. If you just want to slap one on for sound (catted or catless), go for it.
Nice ride. What would you recommend for simple performance mods where ethanol gas is not available? I dont want to upgrade turbo or anything crazy. And i want to keep my warranty.
Hey Vince! Thank you for this video! I was wondering if it’s “safe” to run a catless DP without a tune? Any AFR issues that could cause premature damage? I have a 23’ manual but I’m not itching for more power for now. Thanks again!!!
You should be fine, but you will have a CEL. I think the ECU in the platform is better than Subarus where you need a tune if you sneeze on the car. I know some people that have been running a catless DP without a tune for a couple of years and they have been fine. Not ideal, but I would recommend getting a tune sometime down the road.
Hey Vince, Saw you were at the Toyota Music factory. Currently have a 21 MK5 in red living in Las Colinas. Hit me up sometime I'd love to drive with ya and shoot the shit. Keep up the great content.
One last question 😊 would you get the 2020 and do these mods which seem easier to do on that model or the newer models that have the slight increase in ho but locked ecu 😀
If you were to do performance mods, then yes so you don’t have to spend money on unlocking the ECU and buying a clone (to go the EcuTek route). The HP difference really doesn’t matter because you’ll make up for it with the modifications. The 2 port head and 6 port head only really matters if you are going over 800hp!
Yes, the ECU will have to be unlocked regardless to be tuned. 2020s can just be bench unlocked through EcuTek and post June 2020 ECUs (majority of 2021 and all 2022+ model years) will need to be sent to Femto.

These little black blades of plastic or metal just look like a thin black blade of plastic and metal.. not really car-specific. You could probably just cut a piece of garden divider from home depot and it looks exactly the same.
Yeah really good point, didn’t even think about that while I was making the video to be honest. Now that you mention it, even the 3000GT had it. I wonder why manufacturers stopped doing it.
