It is not true that a 2 Port makes more power. It's the opposite of true. A 2-Port, by design, puts more heat into the turbo and does not have the same amount of volume for exhaust gasses as a 6 port. You will see, as time goes and more people have time to manufacture parts for decades like was done with the 2JZ, that 6 port heads will slowly at first, then ramp up quickly definitively humiliate the 2 port design. Also the heads don't attach to the turbo. Exhaust manifolds do. Dude might need to learn some basic engine component terminology before opening the hood in a RUclips video. Correct though about the sound system. It's really, really terrible. Except those are not subwoofers. Those are mid-bass speakers. Kids, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for actual correct information. On "fake vents".... They are there because they translated the styling from the FT1 concept. Replacing fake vents with open vents doesn't do anything if there isn't an area or high or low air pressure. The hood vents, for example, are in an area of neutral air pressure. Opening them does nothing because there is neither air pushing into them from above, nor air pressure under them pushing up. The door vents are obvious because there would have to be a "flying buttress" design to open through to the chassis side for a vent to flow somewhere. The rear vents are purely a remnant of the FT1 styling cues but have been showing up on other newer Toyota models.
@RobsReviv there is no need to do this a most of the over 1000 hp supras right now are 2 port but things may change it maybe just people prefer to buy a 2020 since it's unlocked and a femto unlock costs almost as much as a full on turbo kit
@@Khxlfxn178Easiest way to look at this: Papadakis racing himself has said once he went from 2 port to 6 port he was able to push over 1,000 HP much easier. The reason a lot of current 1,000+ HP MKVs are 2 port is because of the unlocked ECU from the 2020’s. The 6 port is better but can only partially be unlocked with Fenton as in MHD and BM3.
I will also say that if you daily this car like I do; You HAVE to get ppf. The paint on this car is super thin and the car will get covered in chips and scratches very quickly. I’d at least do the bumper, hood, and front fenders if you can.
Small suggestion from another supra owner, what I ended up doing for the wireless charger was grabbing a nomad magsafe charger, a low profile scoche 12v plug, a 90 degree adapter for the cable, some velcro cable ties for the long cable that it comes with, and some double sided tape to keep the charger in place to basically make the original tray a magsafe charger. It sounds a little jank but ends up being perfectly flush with itself so it's like putting your phone on the flat surface of the tray. Benefit being that the phone doesn't slide around when doing pulls, doesn't heat up nearly as much, and charges much faster with the 15w from the magsafe charger.
Love the color. In 2024, I think we cannot get that color. My biggest issues--the lugs connecting the wheels to the car used to be different, the micky mouse horn, "Super" gas only, wind buffeting when the window is down, the bad view when driving. That said, it is still a great car that I want probably to use as a trophy car only on the weekends. The rise of EVs gives me pause. With an EV--no gas, no emmissions, and a lot less maintenance. With the Supra---street cred, sound, and looks. I have wanted a Supra since I was a 20 something. Now I am a 60 year old man that can afford anything I want but sometimes I think (& know) that buying a Supra is not a responsible buy.
Honestly somehow you make me feel that the 2020 is the same as newer models and you make it sound like 2020 is even better than 2024 lol and it does not make sense at all, they improved tons of things in newer models that people started to appreciate the car more, but you made a nice video overall speaking of different aspects
Dunno if these are available in the US but Yokohama AD09s also hook really well on my tuned Supra, plus it feels less harsher over bumps with my aftermarket coilovers.
2020 Supra is completely different from 21+. 2021+ is a different car with higher power numbers, different manifold, and suspension tuning. This dude is fake news
I have a gr86 and when I test drove the supra it just felt numb and bricky. I'm still debating if I want one or not it just feels like the car was half assed but they expect you to pay a premium.
r888r are good for the first 1000 miles then they start quickly becoming worse and worse, plus the road noise above 70 mph starts getting pretty annoying. a buddy of mine has a fbo m4 with nt555r2 and on e50 he hooks very well in any gear besides 1st. id definitely go with the nt555r2. (plus there is no road noise :) )
Have they added Android Auto? Still don’t get why the wind buffering not fixed by Toyota. Needs an outside button for trunk release. Still don’t get the fake vents.
I have a GR Corolla, and I’m disappointed in the JBL system. They sold that at the dealer like it’s a feature, and it’s mid at best. They should have went with a different brand.
@@ItsBaggs Oh I didnt mean for it to be a diss. I think its awesome. Guy looks like he cant be anymore than 19 or 20. Thats why I was asking. That's per mth, no one pays that cheap for a Supra for 6 mths. That's more than what I pay for my 22 Tundra trd and 21 Accord 2.0t Touring. I'll get my 24 Supra MT soon.

Idk, something about this raw format I missed from other big car youtubers, keep it up and can't wait to see mod videos
I appreciate that a lot I’ll keep it coming!! 🙏🏼
I'm 6,4 and I fit thanks to the bubble roof, the only problem is when I use a helmet it gets cramped.

If you run a thicker oil it solves the oil consumption issue. Idk why but if seen a ton of videos and that seems to do the trick

This is the tyre to be on atm.
Only ever heard that the 21s have oil issues 22-23 haven’t heard anything yet. Have a new 23 premium 6mt No issues yet
ANNND the most important thing he left out. The 2023 has a manual transmission and that's what matters most.
Hopefully I get mine sometime this year but ima be living tight might start looking for a second job to be able to do the payments

hey man quick question... does the steering wheel lower its angle
I’ve heard r888s have a lot of road noise and are overrated and just for looks. I see a lot of people run nittos on this car

it does not take much money to build 1000hp reliably it should be around 20ish k which is nothing if you are paying 60k for the car
Any truth to the claim that if you take your unlocked ecm car to the dealership for a recall, they will lock it?
I don’t take my car to Toyota for this reason. I’ve heard about this happening to a lot of people.
You kinda look like Tom Holland
