Did you clip the curves on the seams where the back section is attached to the side back, and also the neck curve edges? When you attach bias binding, I would assume that you wouldn't want to clip through that layer.
Hi Carolyn, thanks for your kind words. You are correct that you don’t want to clip through the twill tape. I really didn’t have to clip anywhere. Since the collar stands up, there isn’t as much of a curve that would need to be clipped. I also found that the wool has some give to it, so I didn’t need to clip the back seams either. That might not be the case if using a less flexible fabric. I hope that helps.
