Thanks for all the wonderful coat patterns. For myself, living in cold Canada, I like a coat that has closures, comes below my bum, and has a collar. I really want to eventually make the Kelly Anorak, it seems like the perfect coat. Although I think with all the hardware involved it would be an expensive one to make. I will definitely be taking a closers look as some of these patterns. Because realistically you can never have too many coats! I don't think my husband would necessarily agree with that.
I have just made the Nova Coat as it’s called now updated from the Sapporo coat and I absolutely love it, I’ll definitely be making a Spring version next year ✂️🧵x
Great video, as always, Kate. You're a mind reader, too. I have the fabric for my new winter coat, but I am still thinking about patterns. Thanks for the input here.
Thank you for the great coat options. What fantastic choices. I’m wondering if you’d be game to do a video on jacket choices. ie bomber jacket, rain jacket, or any gortex like jacket
Love this coat roundup. I haven’t made myself a coat but when I do it’s going to need a serious closure for these cold winters. I can’t wait to dive a bit deeper into some of these b
The Tamarack jacket is on my wishlist, along with the new hood/collar add-on. I just need to finish up a few projects before getting something else started (as is always the way!)
I made the Cambria duster in a heavy coat fabric so perfect for winter and I absolutely love it! My only issue with it was that the sleeves were way too short, considering that it says in the pattern that they're supposed to be on the long side!
I thought the drilling was músic. Maybe I have to question my death metal tastes. Thanks for the vídeo. Really comprehensive. I am just finishing Cambria. May try Sapporo for the next one.

Check out Saremy at Sewsewlive, she made the Kelly Anorak in a few live streams!

Great video, fabulous selection of coat. Will definitely make a few of them. Thanks!
Always inspiring Kate, thankyou 🤗😊😘
I love these patterns. I’m wanting to make a pink wool coat. These look awesome. Thank you so much.
All the best

Me too! I really want to make a pink wool coat. I don't know how to sew yet so it may be a while until my vision comes true. 😁
very beautiful videos and an interesting channel

Very informative!!
Great "picks"!! I love it that a few were so "unisex".
Thank you, have a great weekend! :+)
I suggest you include the lining situation on coats, jackets and blazers.

Great patterns as usual x

ahahaha I had started to look out of my window when the drilling started as I thought the sound was coming from here :-)

Maybe worth mentioning that the original Sapporo pattern sizing was wrong and has been updated. Great vlog thank you
Thanks, this was recorded a while ago ahead of Kate going on maternity leave
@@TheFoldLine thank you for clarifying that. With a new video we assume it's current.
I've ordered the dawson I love it x
Aw man, now I want to make 10 coats! How do I pick! 😂😍
You know, that Cambria Duster Coat could be made in flannel and then you'd have a cozy housecoat for lounging!
Some lovely coats there! Just to let you know I went to find the link to the blog post in the description but it’s not there.
Sorry that has now been updated
Good video, but the description doesn’t include the correct links!
Sorry that has now been updated

Has Kate had her baby?
I was wondering this too! Hope all is well!
I asked this after the previous video but nobody seems to know. I hope everything is ok.
She is on maternity leave
Thanks for posting.
You look so tired. Try to get some rest.
